This book is a group of seven books on the topic of agile methodologies from the author. The first "The Power of Scrum" does a good job providing some history and then covering the rules and practices to get started using Scrum. It's like a Certified Scrum Master class in book format. The second "72 Reasons Why Scrum Works" breaks down the Scrum roles and practices in a consumable format of _background_ then _reasons_. The third "Scrum Checklist" provides quick checklists for common Scrum ceremonies. I get worried that people that follow checklists get a bit prescriptive and don't tend to grow, but for someone just starting these are a great help. The fourth, "Scrum of Scrums" I could have done without. I am find them in practice to be mostly non-effective and propagate the notion of _scaling_ in the wrong ways. The fifth, "Scrum Tips" was a nice addition, but felt kind of jammed in. The sixth, "How to Meet a Project Deadline", had some practical advice that helps confirm that it was written by a practitioner and not a theorist. The seventh, "The Kanban Guide" was a bonus that did a rather reasonable job of explaining Kanban. Normally I would say this doesn't belong in a Scrum book, but because it was brief it was a nice way to expose someone wanting to learn more about Agile frameworks and methodologies to something that is compatible with Scrum.

The short nature of this book (under 200 pages) and its nice indexed format makes it great introduction for someone wanting to take a stab at Scrum, not to mention it is suitable for a reference for those currently already practicing as well.

The book Scrum, (Mega Pack), for the Agile Scrum Master, Product Owner, Stakeholder and Development, is a collection of the author’s work that concisely covers Agile, Scrum, and working in a Scrum team. This book is more than a foundational how to work with the Scrum methodology. It will give you advice on how to deal with problems and information as you are working through the group dynamics of a workplace and team. If you are looking for a book that you can pick up and use immediately you’ve found it. Doing workflow analysis and learning the Kanban system is the most important closing of this book. The Kanban system has been the most universal system I have seen working across methodologies such as Six Sigma. In today’s diverse workplace there are only a few foundational pieces that a person can expect to encounter working through projects as a consultant. This book is a great read and deserves a place in every professional’s library.

A nice, interesting, and short read. I found myself reading this book within a few hours. For such a short book around 200 pages it did a great job of explaining and making the me more interested about Scrum. Before receiving this book I had never heard of Scrum before. This book captivated me and made me more interested in learning more about the topic of this book. I would recommend this book to people who are interested or new to the topic so they might not get overwhelmed. A great read and very informative.

This book is actually a collection of books. The first one is The Power of Scrum and gives a very good high level overview of Scrum. The other sections of the book go into more details on scrum and are directed towards helping you with practical types of problems (eg, one book is a checklist, another is tips). If you're not familiar with Scrum, the first book will help you with the terminology. If you're familiar with Scrum, the other books can help you fix some of the problems areas you may be having in your development cycles.

This is a great buy. The book is actually several books in one. The amount of information contained in this book is tremendous. It will take the reader through the Agile Scrum process from beginning to end and add the author's experience as a Scrum Master. I cannot think of a better book to give you the information you need to practice Scrum.
