Love Worth Finding: The Life of Adrian Rogers and His Philosophy of Preaching

Rate this book
Adrian Rogers is one of America's most respected Bible teachers, having communicated to millions through his "Love Worth Finding" radio ministry and as the former senior pastor of the Bellevue Baptist Church near Memphis, Tennessee. Adrian helped guide the Southern Baptist Convention, the largest Evangelical denomination in North America, through treacherous and troubling waters of theological liberalism and doctrinal heresy and back to the foundational truths that Christ's church was founded on and has stood upon for centuries.

We love listening to Adrian and the Love Worth Finding ministry. This was a quick read of snippets of his life and the second half was a q&a of his preaching philosophy. He is greatly admired for not compromising o the Word of God. Many of todays preachers could learn from him.

One of the most convicting and encouraging books I have read as a preacher. His philosophy of preaching at the end of the book alone was worth the price. A must read for every preacher of the gospel.

Dear, dear book, because Adrian Rogers is so dear to me. This book should be given to every seminary student with the advice, "Here you go. Now go preach"
