A nice overview of the importance of and traditions concerning corn to the Hochunk people. Originally published in 1997, but the pictures feel even more dated than that. Pro tip: Never put a computer in a photograph in a book that you want to stand the test of time. :) It would be nice to see this one updated.

A great book on Native American traditions. This story takes place in modern day, and deals with a young boy trying to understand the traditions of his grandfather in a world of blue jeans and television.
