Another textbook that evokes good memories. This one from Environmental Science 101, my freshman year. I remember trudging through the marshlands of a wildlife preserve, conducting a survey of flora and fauna. There were two economics majors in my class who needed science credits for their degrees. They bitched and moaned about having to wade in the mud amongst all the gnats and mosquitoes; I, on the other hand, was having a blast.
Environmental Science was my original major. I later switched it to anthropology, but I still have an interest and an affinity for the field.
