The Misadventures of a Mountain Man: A Bigfoot Story

Rate this book
Deep in the smoky mountain forests of Tennessee, a man wakes up beneath a tree with no idea who he is or where he is at. Confused and disoriented, he walks the wilderness, searching for any sign that might trigger a memory. The only thing he finds is that he is not alone. This Mountain Man starts his life anew, learning to survive in the wild place he calls home. He must share a beautiful but dangerous home with bears, mountain lions, copperheads, and, his least favorite, other people. Oh, and the occasional Bigfoot. Adventures, or perhaps, misadventures, abound in this lighthearted and humorous tale of an amnesiac and reclusive Appalachian mountain man that wants only to live a quiet life, but the mountains won’t let him.

Great adventure

Wow, this book was awesome. I do not want to give away the ending, so I am not sure what to write. The good news is that it will not take you long to get to the ending because you will not want to put this one down.

First time reading a Bigfoot novel

I admit I had no idea what to expect, and read. difficulty getting started with this story. I followed it to the end, and was glad I did. The story was lighthearted and entertaining, and unlike anything else I've read.

Amazing

Not like anything I've read before. Odd, but couldn't put it down. The author puts words together so well. I'm great with numbers, but writing is very hard. This book is fabulous and I would strongly encourage you to read it. FABULOUS!

Just such a fun read. Wondered all the way through if he would ever figure out why and how wound up under that tree with no memory or sense of smell.

This is a delight to read. You find yourself allowing the mountain man to steal food and blankets. I liked the apperance of Bigfoot.

This was not exactly what I thought the book would be when I got it for my Kindle. I really enjoyed it, it was a fun story about a man who chose to live by himself in the mountains. He saves and befriends a small donkey who becomes his pet and good friend. He goes on many adventures to "acquire" food and other items and runs into people, animals, and even Bigfoot. I enjoyed his escapades and look forward to more adventures of the mountain man and maybe finding out his history and how he came to be a Mountain Man. Good read!
