Illustrated in full color. Toddlers will learn all about the changing seasons through the eyes of the Bear family - from blizzards to buds to thunderstorms to falling leaves.
Stan and Jan Berenstain (often called The Berenstains) were American writers and illustrators best known for creating the children's book series the Berenstain Bears. Their son Mike Berenstain joined them as a creative team in the late 1980s.
Partially correct in the portrayal of the seasons. However, my dad told me that the seasons are not experienced the same everywhere. It depends largely on geographic location. Stan and Jan need to do some more research to make sure they don't teach incorrect science. #makeamericasmartagain #scienceteacherdad #BILLNYETHESCIENCEGUY
This is another book I obtained through my local library's used book store. I picked this up for my grandchildren.
The characters will be familiar to anyone who has ever read a Berenstain Bears book. This one is written in rhyming poetry style, sure to please young listeners. It starts off with spring, then progresses through the seasons, arriving back at spring. It might be a bit puzzling to children who live in areas that don't get snow as my grandchildren do; they might not connect winter with snow.
Still, it's a cute poem of the seasons with charming illustrations. I hope my grandchildren will like it.
