My family is constantly on the go and looking for quick and easy meals that I can whip up before going to baseball games or whatever. As a working Dad, I am always open to new meals that I can cook without too much hassle. The Tater Tot Cookbook has a large selection of over 40 recipes that anybody can make and kids are sure to love. THere are even some very tasty-sounding breakfasts and desserts. Can't wait to try some of these out with my boys - one of them is a picky eater, but he loves tots, so we'll give them a shot!

Long Live Tater Tots!

A cook book for Tater Tots? You must be kidding, right?

Well, those lovable tater tots we grew up with and enjoyed now have their own cookbook and you're going to love the ways that you can serve them. No longer will tater tots have to stand in the shadow of greater spud dishes. Now they have their own. I loved the recipes in this book and can't wait to try some of them out!

This book is great for a large family. While reading the cookbook I was taken back to the time when families weren't as busy as they are today when the actually sat down every night and talked about their days.

"The Tater Tot Casserole Cookbook" by Kerrie McLoughlin will be of great use for chefs that enjoy in Tater Tot preparation.

Inside the book reader can find around 40 completely various recipes that include different types of meat (beef, chicken...) and other ingredients suitable for meal preparation that can be served in different occasions.
But what certainly all the readers will like is a fact that all the presented dishes are of low-cost and easy to prepare.

I like the way this book was written, it's full of author's humor because of which you will wish for her to cook together with you some of these dishes just to enjoy her company.
As someone who had never tasted Tater Tots I must tell she persuade me to at least make one of these dishes to try it.

Due to that I recommend you this cookbook whether you're already a big fan or like me just need to try it for the first time.

The Tater Tot Casserole Cookbook: Great Casserole Recipes with Bonus Dessert Recipes
Remember eating these as a child and thought maybe with healthier things included we could eat these in our golden years.
Each recipe comes with ingredient list and how to make it, no pictures and no nutritional information.
Cans of creamed soup really kills it for us to be able to enjoy these dishes.
And problem is the tater tots are already made-you buy them frozen. Was thinking this was a book in how to make them-using healthier ingredients.
To me, these are just meals with 2 lbs of tater tots, sometimes turkey, sometimes hamburger, etc.

Many great recipes

Easy to read recipes that look pretty easy to make. Some look scrumptious. Can not wait to try many of them out. My family loves casseroles. Great for the beginning cook as well as busy families. Recipes are economical enough that most people can stay well on food budget. Love the added desserts at the end of book also.

Who'd have thought the humble tater tot could feed a family for dinner? Certainly not this girl! The recipes are so quick and easy, and sound absolutely scrumptious! The fact that they also freeze well make this cookbook a must-have for people on the go!

I gave this book 3 stars. I wasn't too impressed with the recipes. A couple sounded okay. But what can you say....it's tater tots.

Interesting Consept

An interesting way to use tater tots, but wish there wasn't so much condensed soups used. Way too much concentrated salt.
