"It has become apparent to me that those who are living the victorious life are the happiest, the most human of all people on earth; and they overflow with the joy of the Lord, and are the most delightful people to be with. I firmly believe that God's children should be the happiest people in the whole world. I believe that it is very inconsistent that a Christian should go around with a long face or displaying a depressed attitude. Just to be in the presence of someone like that brings down a spirit of depression. I do not want to be around people who cannot smile, who do not have the joy of the Lord. This is a wonderful world that God has given to us and this thing of living the Christian life is a wonderful life. We can still smile in spite of our circumstances. "The joy of the Lord is our strength!" (Nehemiah 8:10)." (Kathryn Kuhlman, Victory in Jesus and the Lord's Healing Touch, Page 65)

There are two titles in this book: Victory in Jesus and The Lord's Healing Touch. Again the Agent she gives credit to producing both victory and the Lord's healing touch is the Holy Spirit. Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit and power and obtained the victory by His death and resurrection on the cross. It was the Holy Spirit who empowered Him in ministry. He also went about doing good, healing all who were oppressed of the devil because God was with Him (See Acts 10:38). Oftentimes, the Bibles says during Jesus' ministry that "the power of the Lord was present for Him to perform healing" (See Luke 5:17). The same power is available to us when we received the Holy Spirit. In my words, "the Holy Spirit is the oil in us that causes us to burn and let our light shine in the darkness of this world." In fact, Jesus said, "you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you..." (See Act 1:8). Therefore, the Secret to victory in Jesus and giving and receiving the LORD's healing touch is the Holy Spirit. She says, "God says, 'Let your light shine.' You have to WANT your light to shine. You are the master of your light. You may possess degrees in theology, you may be skilled and learned in the Word of God, you may have experienced the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and know the fulness of the Spirit; yet, you must LET the Holy Spirit work through you and shine His light through your life."

You are the light of the world! Let your light shine! Be filled with the Holy Spirit and burn!
