I'm sad to have finished the last Jewel Kingdom book. I read a few as a young child and now I've read them all (except the special The Jewel Princesses and the Missing Crown). This was another good addition to the series but it didn't feel like anything final, which I guess is okay because they don't have to be read in any order. It was pretty obvious that , but it was still an exciting read and I was interested to see how Demetra would figure out a solution. I do wish we could have seen how the mirror world fared after Demetra left, but that has to be left to the imagination. That would have made for an interesting spin-off series, though.

I'd like to own these books to read to my future kids one day. There are nice short fantasy stories.

Sad that I've finally reached the end to this nostalgic and darling corner of the bookshelf. This arc was really cool, I also love/am totally creeped out by the ideas of mirror worlds. Knowing this is the last book, everything ends so suddenly and I wonder why.

I’m so fortunate to have found a copy of this book from a thrift store recently. This series was such a favorite of mine as a child and I LOVED getting to revisit the Diamond Princess in this book! Hoping to find more copies of this series soon and revisit the entire series.

My love of reading started when i was young, and it gives me immense pleasure to provide books to Spread the Word Nevada, an organization that passes them on to children in the community. They are a terrific organization supporting an important cause. If your local I encourage you to check them out. For those living further a field, look in your own community, their may already be a similar program in place. And if not, you can always help start one.

Myself, I go out on the weekends and
shop thrift store and bulk book lots to rescue books and donate them. Sometimes I'll find a book I remember reading when I was young and will read it again before passing it on.

I don't rate these books using my normal scale, instead I give most of them three stars. This isn't a Criticism of the book, simply my way of rating them as good for children.

The next time the Diamond princess looked through her mirror she saw a face.
They decided to go to each others lands. But when Demerta's friend likes her land so much she doesn't want to go back to her own land!

Will Demerta get back to her own land or not?

I love this book so much I could kiss it!

All the princess books are good books especially if you like the kind of books that are non fiction books that are short and go together well.

I read a couple of these books when I was a little girl. I really enjoyed them! I used to have a bracelet that came free with one of those books. Had four jewels of the princesses.

I'm a little so so on this series for kids. I don't think the character development is adequate so far. also I don't buy that demetria would so easily relinquish a place in a warmer palace so easily. just over a harp? not very convincing.

I freaking loved this book when I was like, 11-12. Good times. It was right at my level at the time, didn't talk down to me as an audience, had an interesting plot and characters, A++
I wouldn't read it now but I did reread it at least 3 times over the years and I didn't reread things often, especially not kids books. Books for this age bracket bored me easily but this stuck out in my memory.
