It's not just an ordinary Bible. It has reflections too.
You can easily relate to the stories and make reading more prayerful.
My recent read is The Book of Job. I never get to finish it in the old Bible copies I have because of the intensity of aJob's suffering. In this copy, I understand better how to take his suffering because of the reflections that accompany it.
