This is a very brief biography, clearly aimed at children. I really liked the style of it, told in a series of anecdotes about his life that really helped me understand the feel of his life better than a lot of dates and places would have.

What made it strange is that this is apparently one in a series of biographies that are meant to be read in order. There was a brief side story about George Washington, and various questions about people NOT told about in this book. I definitely would have preferred if it worked as a stand alone book. It was also disappointing that the illustrations referenced were not included in my kindle version.

There are no content issues in this book, unless you're concerned about your children copying mischievous pranks from Haydn's childhood.

For young readers, but helpful in pinpointing the important information I needed.
