Weapon of A.S.S. Destruction

Rate this book
Liberals are all about love. They love poor people… as long as they stay poor. They love choice… as long as it’s not in education, energy, healthcare, or commerce. They love rights… as long as we’re not talking about the rights of the unborn. They love black people… as long as they stay on the Democrat plantation. So they just love Alfonzo “Zo is a certified pre-owned house negro, AKA black republican. Go ahead——take a stick and poke him.” –TheeRyan1, YouTube“I would say u sound like you know what your talking about but listening to you lets me no you dont have a clue.”–40247, YouTube“I was not amused.”–Charles Blow, NY TimesWeapon of A.S.S. (American Socialist States) Destruction obliterates liberal lies -- from the so-called “party switch” to the money-grubbing self-righteousness of the green movement. Poverty pimps, Afrocentrics, RINOs, Demon-crats, whatevuh... All of you jive turkeys better watch out! ’Cause Zo’s about to drop some truth bombs up in here! is my new favorite Republican.–Ann Coulter, social/political commentatorAlfonzo represents the rugged individualism this country was founded on. Every time I watch one of his videos I want to stand up and salute. I see in him the same stuff the founding fathers are made of. He’s one of the most multi-talented, multifaceted, and one of the bravest bastards I know.–Andrew Breitbart, late political maverickZo’s distillations are breathtaking and so funny… I was stunned for hours by the most provocative, riveting and cohesive social statements I’ve read in the last twenty years. Zo touched, in some way… everything… with such focus and force… I laughed so hard on the plane people thought I was crazy!–Dwight Schultz, A-Team, Star TrekZo has powerful things to say, and he says them in such a straightforward, honest, and truthful way that the sound you hear ringing in your ears is simply the ring of truth, clearly and bravely uttered.–Bill Whittle, social/political commentatorZo’s message is always creative, inspirational, informative, and entertaining. Whether he’s singing it, preaching it, or just telling it like it is, he’s not only “right” but right on time. We’re blessed to have him on our side.–Al Sonja Schmidt, former writer for In Living ColorWhat’s always fascinated me about Zo is the fact that he’s funny without ever making jokes. Most of the time he’s just disassembling the opposition with a sort of good-natured logic. I don’t even know why it’s amusing, but it is. Maybe because the left’s reasoning is so silly that, when Zo exposes it, its natural absurdity comes out. In any case, the guy is just a pleasure to spend time with.–Andrew Klavan, best-selling author

Mr. Rachel is a conservative, Republican, Christian, black and talented rock 'n roll musician. The almost perfect antithesis to what one might expect. His work here is admirable in many ways. He attacks the traditional folk versions of American politics. He begins with the political roots of racism, moves into the philosophy of modern liberalism, takes on a series of specific political and ideological dilemmas America faces.

One of the most intriguing aspects of his work is his inclusion of Christianity in his reasoning. He does so in a very affecting way. for over 50 years I drifted from devoted Mormonism to atheism, spending most of my time in Christian leaning agnosticland (the easiest solution). While Rachel certainly could be said to be "preachy" in terms of his political analysis and opinion (which I agree with), but he avoids this preachy aspect when it comes to relating Christian philosophy with the rise and fall of political fortune and personal freedom/responsibility here in America (around the World, for that matter). In this regard his book is one of the most inspirational I've read, and has filled my sails with a renewed interest in and confidence in Christian philosophy... No, not the organized, self centered versions of Christianity that have been sold by most organized religions for centuries, but the pure philosophy which can be found in the words attributed to Jesus. Fascinating and inspirational.

Many would likely avoid such a read, due to the disease of political correctness which has infected America's perceptive consideration of lines of logic which don't fit our "modern" expectations. I recommend overcoming any initial aversion. These arguments are strong, well documented beautifully logical, and conversationally alive. The book's value goes quite beyond simply proving a point, it illuminates artfully entertaining and convincing argumentation.

Overall, Rachel's work comes across quite informally, and is a pleasurable, easy read which will fuel constructive thought, even in the skeptics. The thought, reading and consideration that went into the work turns its informality into genius.

Liberal Progressives Decoded

The book was great; it used factual evidence about the history and agenda of liberalism coupled with thought provoking and real time issues of today’s day to day matters. The book was full of good information and citations and was easy to read, understand and easy to stay engaged. His take on progressives and liberalism is spot on. I myself being neither liberal nor a republican have many differences of opinions on when it comes to many of his social topics but hey we aren’t always going to agree on everything.
To me the most important take away is the model and standard by which we live by and that is the constitution of the United States of America. Living (wanting to live) in a constitutional republic is something not shared by our liberal “socialist” friends. This book goes to explain why, and also the struggle behind it. AlfonZo Rachel does this in a witty, charismatic, factual, and in a good humor minded way. I can’t wait to read his next one.

This is a great book from the eyes of a black conservative republican, who once was a liberal, has his own youtube vlog on PJTV on politics and events that have happened in the past as well as what is going on today. Very honest, forward and sometimes in your face though he is very light-hearted and comical. He is also the drummer for 20 lb. sledge, a rock band that rocks! He is very entertaining with his writings and sounds like a person I would not just love to meet but also love to pick his brain on issues and events past, present and future. Thanks Zo, keep it up!

What a breath of fresh air. Alfonzo is a Black conservative, hard rock playing, martial artist...I knew I would love this book. The author tackles the hot button issues that are the bane of the American psyche right now. He does not seem to shoot his thoughts from an emotional hip but actually does his research pulling from his personal experience as well as will documented conservative thought. May his number increase through out the land. Btw his band is 20 lb. Sledge and they are not bad either. Do yourself a huge favor and dive into ZoNation today!!!!

Devoid of evidence, stats and facts, Rachel has written a giant polemic tale that makes some people feel comfortable about their poor political choices. He treats politics like sports and projects bizarre hypotheticals throughout when there’s plenty of critiques that can be laid on the democrats neoliberal policies. It’s one giant anti intellectual, ad hominem narrative by a crank who gets paid to muddy the waters around politics.

If you watch Alfonzo Rachel on YouTube (Zoloft-Zo Nation-20lb Sledge)then this book is a bit of a repeat- it's also a bit dated. However, it is significant in that it expresses frustrations of Christian Americans who feel their voice is not being heard or respected. Zo lays out his principles and beliefs and why; and how important it is not to compromise and follow the herd. Sometimes it was a bit preachy and admonishing but his message is still true.

I really enjoyed this book. It is filled with common sense, excellent research, good history, and humor. Alfonzo Rachel is a Black, conservative, Christian, and he is an amazing writer and commentator. Every Christian voter should read this book, and to really hear what Zo is trying to teach with this. I really enjoyed the audio version as Zo adds extra commentary within the chapters, but the written version is just as entertaining and informative!

Interesting take on politics and religion from a different voice, a black conservative Republican. The author is also a comedian and makes the book entertaining and engaging.
