Defeating the witch is just the beginning of our trials and tribulations.... Isla Maddox and I sailed to my home island of Maatua to save my people. We found the Diamond of Faith and are bringing it back to restore peace to Crescent Falls. But that's easier said than done. We are challenged at every corner. And my mate is about to be betrayed by the one he trusts most. On top of all that, I'm about to give birth to our son. If it doesn't kill me. How are we ever going to make it out alive?
Maddox I've finally found my second chance Luna, but it seems everyone is trying to take her away from me. Including my best friend. If he doesn't kill her, maybe my son will. Will Isla and I ever be able to rule in peace? Find out why nearly 2 million readers love The Alpha King's Breeder series!
Another good read but also I feel like there was some inconsistency with the plot and details. Like who was with them and then in another chapter they are still back at the castle.
I’m only in chapter 12 of this book but I’m confused as hell! In the last book Beta Seth came with the Alpha King to Maatua. Then in this book it’s written as if he’d been at the castle the entire time. Isla made a plan to get out of the castle in the last book and everything. Then Maddox asked Trinity to go with him, she said no, so he ended up taking Seth. Seth even said something like “we should ask the locals” when they first got to Maatua…like nothing ever mentioned him still being a the castle until this book and it’s like they are trying to paint an entirely different narrative about trinity and Seth.

After reading the first book, I stated I would continue with the series because I was invested in the story. The storyline, world building, and character development are well-done. The books flow well, but the numerous grammatical errors and questionable sentence structure take away from the overall quality of the book. I will say that the editing has improved with each book, but there are still far too many missed errors. If I were the author, I'd have a meeting with my editor.
Great reading but who ever spell checked this book…
Great reading but who ever spell checked this book did a horrible job. I always give credit where credit is due but the editor did a crap job and should be made to recheck this book entirely. I saw mistakes just about on every page.
Will Isla be able to save her best friend before it is too late? They have to go back to the island and Isla will need to find a way to save them again. Is she strong enough for what she needs to do? Maddox was hoping that this was going to be a way trip not one where he could lose her. Another great read in the series
I enjoyed the story but was distracted several times by the wrong words in sentences. Again, lots of type O's. It felt like the author lost her train of thought in parts and, forgot to add in explanations that would have made the story flow better
