I love this story! Daisy is strong yet quiet character. She feels a bit invisible because she has so many sisters. She wants to be herself without getting lost or known as part of the "flowers". In order for her to do it she has to leave the city she grew up in. I like how she moves across states to not only find herself but to find love.

One to read in one go

This story was tender were it needed to be strong and loving in many parts but most of all honesty throughout the entire story. I could not put it down, except to eat and sleep.

Daisy leaves Seattle as a mail order bride.

Daisy, sister # 4, is 18 and her mother is bugging her to marry. She asks Aunt Harriet to find her someone.

Eli writes to Elizabeth at the Beckham Mail Order Bride agency. She isn't certain what to do with his letter and forwards it to Harriet. Harriet thinks that Eli is a good match for Daisy.

Mary the mother of the flower girls is none to happy about sending her daughter off to Montana. She and Jasmine accompany Daisy to Montana.

Just an aside, the flower girls are from a wealthy family and should have had good dowries, but that never comes up. However, one of Harriet's original arguments for investigations the girls' beaux was to weed out the ones who only wanted to marry them for their money.

Loved it

This is Daisy's story, she is shy and had no interest in any of the men in Seattle so she asked her Aunt Harriet to find her a suitor so her mother will quit bugging her to marry.
Eli King had Wooten to Elizabeth Miller for a mail order bride but then had to tell her to wait but 6 yrs later he is ready to marry, Elizabeth sent his letter to Harriet and she thought Daisy was a perfect match for him.
They agree to weed, Daisy's mother and sister travel with her much to Eli's annoyance. They marry and settle into life, Eli is convinced Daisy is going to leave him and doesn't want to get attached to her, the adventures begin through ups and downs and a sister coming to live with them this is an awesome book with a great happily ever after

I found this Author by chance. I have read almost all of Kirsten books. The Brides of Beckham start this story series on the East Coast. Then the owner of Mail Order Brides service becomes a bride and the family she marries into has eight nieces. She helps to find all of the girls husbands that will treat them well. I enjoy Daisy book because we see the development of this young woman when she is away from her family. She blossoms just like her flower. If you want to read about some great sister who all of very different personalities. I suggest you read the Seattle Suitor Story's. Happy Reading

Daisy and Eli are exactly what I was looking for when wanting a quick, love at first sight romance with a strong willed heroine and sweet hero. I loved that Daisy, thought raised in privilege, did not shy away from chores, country life and cooking. She made dear friends and proved to herself all she is capable. I can understand that Daisy's mother would worry and be concerned for her shy daughter who leaves home to marry, as a mail-order bride, so suddenly but I found her annoying. Eli is sweet but honest with Daisy's mom but I appreciated how he defended Daisy. I will be reading all other the "Flower" books.

I loved Daisy's story. She was a shy young woman and had her Aunt find a husband for her. She became a mail order bride for Eli. What makes this couple special was Eli. He was a orphan who came west on a orphan train. He was not scared of her mother who came with Daisy as well as Daisy's sister the horrid Jasmine. Lol Jasmine made the book. It is a very fast read and fun. Loved it.

Another great story

I liked that Daisy was Aaron suffragette. Her love story is a good one, but lack of communication is a huge problem in this story as well.

Daisy is a very sweet girl.

This is a very good story. Daisy finally found where she belongs. She was lost in a home of "flowers", but she is thriving in Montana.
