Rate this book

Realising she can't do it alone she reaches out to those around her, hoping that they can help pull her through. It's make or break time for Lexi, not only with Alex but she also needs to change her destructive behaviour to become whole

Lexi Reed was unstoppable, or so she thought. As the PR manager of international rock band, Power Station and living in New York, she was a long way from her old life in Melbourne, Australia. Having captured the heart and married one of the sexiest men alive (Power Station’s guitarist, Alex Stone) Lexi was living beyond any fantasy she could have ever imagined. Having finally allowed the walls from her past to fall, Lexi had not only learnt to trust again but had given herself completely to Alex, her one true love.

Lexi's happiness was short lived when heartache and trauma threw everything she knew into turmoil. Her world came crashing down around her, and now Lexi is struggling to regain her sense of self. Unable to regroup and heal under the scrutiny of the media and her well-intentioned loved ones, she can’t seem to find the road back to the old “Lexi.”

Alex is devastated. His beautiful, intelligent and once confident wife is now distant and guarded, the product of the brutality she has suffered. He feels powerless but is determined not to lose her.

With her gorgeous rock star husband by her side and her eclectic but devoted circle of friends, Lexi starts over. In order to find a way to reconcile the past and build a future, she must let go of all her safety nets and trust those around her.

In this final installment of the Lexi series, we join Lexi and Alex on their journey of rediscovery. Relationships are tested, terms are renegotiated and lives are irrevocably changed. With the hope that their love for each other is strong enough to carry them through, Lexi and Alex gamble everything in search of their happily ever after.

He released my hands and my arms dropped to my sides and he sunk to his knees in front of me.
“I need to make this count.” He leaned up against me and breathed on my neck”

The man's on his knees but somehow he's breathing on her neck.

4 - I started from the bottom, now I'm here - Stars

"So you see, there is no choice to make and I'm going to do the one thing no one has ever done for you. Not because I feel sorry for you or because I feel obligated, but because I refuse to give up on you, even if you have given up on yourself. I'm going to fight for you Lexi. I'm going to fight for you because you are worth fighting for and I will fight every second of every day until you come back to me, whole."

We start A Time for Hope with Lexi emotionally recovering from her life changing ordeal in the A Leap of Faith. Lexi is fighting tooth and nail to figure out who she is now. She knows she will never be the same, so her road to self re-discovery is powerful. Fighting against every person close to her to regain some semblance of freedom is not easy when those who love you are determined to fiercely protect you.

Alex is the perfect man in this book. Strong, compassionate, loving, adoring. We also see his struggle though. The things that happened to Lexi haunt him. He’s trying to breathe life back into his fiery woman but is also afraid to give her too much freedom. We see him loosening up the reign’s though as Lexi becomes more whole. We see his humor and banter coming back and it’s beautiful.

”Did you just try and buy an apartment with your Amex?”

Sex is a very delicate matter at the beginning of the book and I feel like the author handled it well. I could see both points of views and it broke my heart a little bit. I think that this quote really sums up how Lexi felt.

Lexi enters an alternative therapy which is when she really discovers what she is made of.

“What sets you apart from everyone else is your ability to dig deep when you’ve got nothing left. When you are broken, lost, exhausted. When you want to pack it all in and call it a day. That’s when you will find your strength. Find out who you are and what you are made of. And I guarantee you that when your body gives up and you are lying in a heap, your fucking heart will carry you the rest of the way.”

I was thinking that this book would end up being one big, happy, epilogue but I was really surprised to find that Lexi goes thorough more betrayal in this book. Regardless though she fights her way through to one of the happiest endings! I'm so stinking excited for Alex & Lexi at the end of this book

Yet again, we are given great interaction with the other characters and it adds so much to the book.
Dan:
"I'm not going to PR you some girl, I'm not a freaking pimp."

Anna:

Hannah & Taylah:

Nick (BTW, T. Gephart, I need a book about this man, like yesterday!):

I loved the whole package and I thought it was a great end to a sweet series. I would recommend it and I hope y'all like it!

Now I stopped reading this half way because it just seemed like it was already finished and they were prolonging it but I just had an epiphany and I'm also really sick now ugh.. That I needed to finish Lexi and Alex's story!
So to keep it short and sweet. I loved the ending to this, and everything was tied up in the end. No loose ends.

Lexi is such a fantastic character. The story starts off with her spirit broken because of all that she's been through. After her experience, it's to be expected, of course, but obviously still heartbreaking. With time and healing, we again see the Lexi that's a spitfire, and funny... I really enjoy this girl :) she's been through so much, and she's learning to deal and move on. It's not easy, and as a reader you'll go through so much emotions with Lexi and Alex. Alex is amazing,in more ways than one. Supportive and caring being a huge part of it. As are their friends, also.

This is the third install, and it's a excellent ending to this series (I could always read more of this though!)

This story will suck you in. If you're like me, you'll likely lose sleep, because you'll want to keep reading without stopping.

Amazing conclusion to this series, and while I'm sad it's over (well Lexi & Alex's story anyways) all good things must come to an end!!! every relationship has its struggles and poor Lexi has been through so much but I love how strong Alex is being for the both of them. He never gives up, he has certainly grown. Such an emotional read going through Lexis journey in dealing with previous events. Still enjoy the witty banter and I love the whole band, especially Dan. God he is such a pig but you can't help but love him and I can't wait for his story. This author has done fantastic work with this trilogy as a whole! the lot of them have been 5* ratings for me.

This review is for all three books in the series. Lexi, feisty, confident, but insecure; meets sexy, hot, rock band player Alex. Sex with no strings were the requirements for both of them....... But! Mystery, angst, steamy sex with lots of hilarious banter. Dan is the master of sexual innuendo and offends on numerous occasions but offensive with innocence. Enjoyed the whole series, now onto Power Station series.

Absolutely an amazing trilogy written. Loved these books, storyline of each and every one. The characters were fantastic and if you loved Dan's unfiltered mouth and the things he says, well this one was just fantastic. So many lol moments when he was around. This authors writing style is perfect, and how it ended was really good and any lose bits got tied up. A must read.

Time for Hope is the third and final installment in the Lexi series, and it was everything I was expecting and hoping for.

It’s no secret that I have a total girl crush on Lexi. She’s everything I love my leading ladies to be. She’s vibrant, fierce, loyal, honest, sexy, witty and can take on anyone and come out on top. She doesn’t suffer from the delayed comeback syndrome – she’s always on. She can banter with the best. Her internal dialogue can rival the very best. She uses words like ‘highbrow ignoramuses’ and ‘shitfulness’ and knows a crazy case of OCD when she spots one.
Having competently graduated with my psychology degree from the University of Google and already having a PhD in Lexi…

When I finished book 2 – A Leap of Faith – I had doubts as to how Lexi would be in Time for Hope. I briefly wondered if she would lose everything I loved about her. Would she fall prey to the too stupid to live syndrome? Would she make poor decisions, push everyone away, tell lies and break up, only for it to all be resolved in the end with the same type of formula that happens so frequently in this genre? I’ll tell you straight up. If you are apprehensive about going into this because you suspect the same, be at ease. She did not. She upgraded to Lexi 2.0, and was better than ever before. I could relate with Lexi on a whole new level. This story relied less on humor and more on emotion and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
“…I’m raging against the fact that I’m no longer who I used to be and I have no fucking idea how to get back there!” - Lexi

When I began reading the prologue, I did so with tears. The first few chapters really did affect me emotionally. I have been fortunate in my life to never experience the brutality that Lexi (and so many others do), but it felt real to me. As if she were a real friend of mine living the aftermath of her assult.
My once carefree and confident self had since dissolved and now a scared little girl was in its place. - Lexi

Lexi is lost. She’s drifting through the days wondering if she will ever find her way back to herself. She’s been convinced to see a therapist, she has friends that will carry her emotionally for as long as she needs, she has one of the greatest hubbymans to ever grace the pages, and she has security (DarNell – aka Godzilla with major arm capacity to carry shit!). More importantly though, she has zero confidence and is drowning in self doubt.
The walls that had once seemed so welcoming were now a reminder of how separated I was from the outside world. While I needed a barrier from the chaos that surrounded my life right now, I also resented the protection it afforded me. It reminded me of my own inadequacies. - Lexi

When we were reunited with Taylah I just wanted to kiss her. I wanted to pick her up and swing her around in a circle. I knew then that everything would be ok. Lexi had a bosom buddy in her. Lexi 2.0 is going to be embraced and she’s going to claw her control that was taken from her back. I couldn’t wait to take the journey & overcome her demons. And what a journey it was.
I forgave every bad decision I felt I had ever made, I forgave myself for any regret I may have had and I forgave the times I felt I’d wasted in darkness. I welcomed a new dawn, one where I had evolved. - Lexi

When I started this review I told you how much I loved Lexi but I refrained from ranting and raving about Alex. People, let me tell you right now. This man is a god. There is not one thing I would change about him. If you won’t read this series to meet Lexi, I will tell you that once you meet Alex, you will want to punch yourself in the face for waiting so long. He’s SOOOOOO romantic, he’s wicked in the bedroom (bathroom, kitchen, car, - I’m sure you get the picture) and the dirty talk (hubba hubba, that elevator scene!) & panty ripping – HELL YES! He delivers in the husband stakes. Married life sits so wonderfully on this couple and experiencing their first months together as a married couple felt like a privilege. He is everything a hubbyman should be;
“…I’m going to do the one thing that no one has ever done for you. Not because I feel sorry for you or because I feel obligated, but because I refuse to give up on you, even if you have given up on yourself. I’m going to fight for you Lexi. I’m going to fight for you because you are worth fighting for and I will fight every second of every day until you come back to me, whole.” - Alex

There was just so much to love about this entire series. The playfulness, the sizzling chemistry, the friendships but most of all the growth that Lexi made from the first book until now – it’s gigantuous.

To Lexi Reed, PR Exec or Lexi Stone, Wife – You truly are a mixed bag of fun, frivolity, labels and just all around Aussie goodness. I would shoot vodka with you anytime.
I am no prize Lexi, I am just a man, but one who will spend the rest of his life loving you. - Alex

If you actually read this novel length review, I take my hat off to you. Lexi, Alex, Matt, Taylah, Hannah, James, Dan and the rest of the gang deserved no less. I implore you to pick up this series. The first book is free HERE, and I think you’ll love it.

PS Ms Gephart, I need more of Dan’s inappropriateness. I nearly wet my pants when he replayed the consequences in the club. I would not be adverse to he and Sydney having themselves a book. Also, next time you are working out I want 50 for the corps.

PPS. The epilogue was hysterical.

The conclusion to Lexi’s trilogy was a story of struggle, survival and acceptance as she tries to learn from past more stakes and strives for a better future with Alex by her side. I especially enjoyed her exasperation with Dan and his obnoxious personality because it was a perfect foil for the serious subject matter in this series. I listened to the audiobook version and I loved the narration performance of Emma Wilder.

CARMIE'S REVIEW -

A Time For Hope is book three in the Lexi series and can be read as a stand-alone or as part of the series. I loved all the books in the Lexi series and recommend that you read them all. The characters step right off the pages and into your heart - all larger than life. You feel like you have met the members of Power Station and have a ring-side seat to their crazy fish-bowl world.

The story opens with Lexi recovered physically from the attack but emotionally unstable and tired of feeling like a victim. She wants, no needs, everything to go back to the way it was before but doesn’t know how to make it happen. It’s killing her inside to have lost the intimacy that she shared with Alex; Alex doesn’t want to inadvertently take Lexi back to the attack with his lovemaking and wants to be sure Lexi is ready before resuming sexual activities.

Alex surprises Lexi with a visit from her friend Taylah, who was introduced in book one. The ladies head out for a day of shopping with Lexi’s bodyguard present and a night of clubbing. Lexi has an epiphany as a result of some great advice from Taylah.

“I wasn’t shocked at Taylah’s candor, hell, I’d never known her to hold her tongue and what she was saying made all kinds of sense to me. Everyone was tip-toeing around it but there was no point in trying to hide it. I would always wear the scars of my past, it’s what I did with them that counted now. It had felt good to make some decisions today. Not over-thinking, just doing. I was back in the driver’s seat and the only person stopping me from moving was…myself. That’s a tough realization to come to – I was my own worst enemy. What she said was true. Deep down I knew what I had to do but for whatever reason I was scared; wondering if I’d measure up to my previous self. The self-doubt was the chain that weighed me down. No more. I was worth more than that, damn it. I owed it to myself.”

Lexi’s love for Alex is bigger than the past and she knows it’s worth fighting for. The depths of their love for one another is astounding and comes across the pages clear as daylight. Lexi shared this thought with us. “Yep, I was never going to get used to this, to him. Not just because he was Alex Stone, ‘cause that shit is so far off the crazy chart that I can’t even comprehend it. I met, fucked, fell in love and married Alex Stone – sexy, alluring, talented, incredibly good looking and smoking hot in bed Power Station guitarist. I lived it and I still can’t believe it happened! But the truly remarkable part was that I was with a man (no matter who he was publicly) that loved me, accepted me and I loved him right back.”

Their night of clubbing set into motion a few other sub-story lines.

The club they went to was one that Taylah recently redecorated. They meet the owner, Nick, no last name and he seems familiar to Lexi but she can’t put her finger on it. Alex notices Nick’s interest and his protective urges come out full force. Lexi does meet up with Nick and finds out he orchestrated the meeting with her; He is the older brother of Riccardo Cassius, an ex-flame of Lexi’s. Riccardo has kept tabs on Lexi and got Nick to promise he would watch her because he still cares about her. Nick offers to make Lexi’s attacker disappear as a belated wedding gift.

As Lexi works through her healing it becomes more and more apparent that Alex needs some healing too. Lexi and Alex start butting heads more and more about his protective urges. Add the pressure of an upcoming tour, the media presence and the lingering issue of the attack (the court case) will Lexi and Alex be able to keep their life and love together or will it careen wildly out of control?

PHENOMENAL the only word I could even think of for T.Gephart's Lexi Series. I have to say I think this series has to be one of my all time favorites. T.Gephart you did it again, each time your writing excels me in to this universe where I feel I know the characters as friends of my own. This book lives up to all the standards of the others in this series, which with many series you lose interest as you read through them however this is far from the case with The Lexi Series.

This story starts of where A Leap Of Faith finishes with Lexi broken but wanting nothing more to get back to her former glory. Lexi was strong, feisty and whitty until an attack left her broken and lost. A Time For Hope is exactly that, Lexi claws her way back and comes back stronger than ever; "While I was no longer the old Lexi, the new Lexi I had become was by far more adaptable, resilient and stronger than I'd ever been." Lexi comes back fighting that fight shows you (The reader) that no matter what obstacles are put in our way we should never give up and always come back fighting. The ups and downs of life make us who we are, this is not just a story of love, romance and heat. It is a journey that many of us have taken at some point in our lives to find who "we" really are. I love that T.Gephart has captured a life journey as well as an impeccably well written romance novel.

The character continue with there individuality and there "spunk". I love all of the characters in this series and well and truly feel that it is the end of an era with the finial book. I have loved all of the characters in this book because of how real they are to people you would know. Lexi is my all time favorite female lead in any book that I have ever read and I believe that it will take one heck of a book to take that away from Lexi. Alex is a complete diamond in the rough, under his rock star exterior he dotes on Lexi and would do anything with in his power to keep her safe, he loves her unconditionally! Dan is still completely hilarious and had me in complete hysterics through out the book! I need his story T.Gephart ;-) Seriously, that would be one book that I think I would actually wet myself. Dan infuriates Lexi beyond believe but he is so amusing - "Your hands get anywhere near my tits you are going to be shitting out teeth and I assure you, I will not aim wide" - Lexi.

In the name of good and evil, reading A Time of Hope by T. Gephart was both torturous and heartwarming. After the events at the end of ‘A Leap of Faith’ I was all ready and prepared to enter into the mind of T and not all to well to accept that it was the final book in the Lexi Series.

I absolutely loved it from beginning to end, from start to finish it was just an amazing read. I have come to expect T to bring the characters of Lexi and Alex with so much passion and heart and she did not disappoint. In such an amazing book full with humour, pain, love and the band Power Station, it was a world-wind of fun to read. I have become addicted to Power Station (P.S I love Dan parts), Lexi and Alex and also the secondary characters like James and Hannah (so sweet). Like a good cup of coffee the novel was addictive and I couldn’t put it down.

In A Time for Hope we see Alex and Lexi rebuilding their relationship and connection from the events that have perspired and all I can say is, Lexi is one kick-ass chick. Her strength and ability to make me smile is what I have come to love. As far as female leads go she is one of the best, as she is determining, strong and full of love.

The sass, love and stamina within the book was beautiful. I love how it is upbeat and I never felt disconnected from the characters as Lexi and Alex’s novel came to an end I did get a bit teary but it was full of love because we have watched these guys grow from just strangers into something really special and raw. I rated A Time for Hope a fat BEYOND rating! It ticked all my boxes in what I love about romance, Power Station and the connection that T has created in her debut series.

This was a hard book to review as there wasn't anything I didn't really like but there was nothing I loved either. The characters and plot were all okay but nothing really grabbed my attention.

This is the third book in the series and picks up from a few months after Lexi and Alex tied the knot after she left the hospital after she was attacked.

I did like Lexi in this story. She was so strong to overcome everything that happened to her and when she started believing in herself again her feisty personality shone through and she became stronger than ever moving forward and leaving the past behind.
I also liked Alex, he is what a husband should be. Sexy, protective, caring, funny, loving. You can't fault him and his love for Lexi is so sweet if at times a little over bearing but I don't blame him at all considering everything that's happened to her.

Overall the plot was okay. There was no one thing the plot was based on. It touched upon several but never really developed them. For example the tour, the 'offer', Lexi overcoming the past. They were all just touched upon and I feel if these story lines had been developed a lot more it would have made the story more interesting and kept me hooked as there was potential for some great story lines.

The very ending definitely felt rushed for me but it was a happy ending which is nearly always a must for me so it was a good ending, just needed a little more detail I think.

Overall I didn't love this story but I did like it. There was potential for more I believe and I did enjoy the overall of the story and will look out for new books from this author.

Took me quite a while to finish this. Heh.

I love Alex and Lexi but I think there may have been too much of them which is why it took me a while to finish this. I love them, I do, and I suppose it's reasonable that there are three books, but not many big things happened in this one. Or yeah there was a lot that happened but not big enough to really get me gripped. (Or maybe I'm just really busy at work)

What Anna did was sad, and it broke my heart when Lexi got so mad at her and when Matt broke up with her. It broke my heart that she felt so alone and she had to go back home because of what she did. What happened to her and Matt makes me really sad because I think Matt deserves someone, too! That part when Anna accused Matt and Lexi of cheating on Anna and Alex angered me but also made me really sad for her. (This morning I had a thought that Matt should maybe end up with a band member who's of course a girl. Like Jase and Angie? Idk haha)

Anyway yeah. This book also made me miss Dan and Ash. Dan is crazy. He was very endearing in High Strung but it's in these three books you'll see just how crazy he is. That part when Sydney admitted to Lexi that something happened between her and Dan made me sad but at least it's cool because she knows there can never be anything between the two of them. If I read this first I might want Dan and Sydney together but now I can't imagine Dan with anyone besides Ash!

So yeah I love this bunch! (And I know I said I may already have too much but I need more happy moments of Lexi and Alex with baby Grace! We got that in the other boys' books but I need more of these three!)

I enjoyed this book but felt it was rushed for a final book. 3 stars because of the typos and horrible ending as the story was good.

Lexi is Lexi - a hot mess. What more can I say about this feisty woman. She is still fierce but in a new way but still a hot mess LOL

Alex was his sweet and easy going else. It was great to see him and Lexi get back to the playful and fun couple they were.

The ending - I'm sure what happened but it sucked royally. 1st - why did Matt not congrat Lexi on her pregnancy - that was so weird and made you think that maybe Anna was right... Then the story went from being told from Lexi's POV to a narrator... I bought a book to read it and watch it unfold not to have some bullet points of what happens in the future listed out...!!! The ending was just a cluster F*** in my opinion and needs to be revamped.

Gephart - please have someone copy edit this book and make the TONS of changes needed as it really took away from the book. And why was the ending done this way - why rush such a great series...? I was so disappointed... Clearly a book 4 or 3.5 is needed or this book needed to be longer or some of the extra stuff in this story needed to be removed to finished up all the outstanding stuff that was listed out in the end... I'm not sure but I was really enjoying this series and this book really put me off...!!! And feel free to let your publishers know that this customer said this was so unfair for the readers and your fans that bought the other 3 books!

This is the 3rd book in the Lexi series, as with the pervious books I absolutely loved this book.
T. Gephart has an amazing ability to mix life's lowest times with a slapsh of humour which makes for one amazing read !

We start the book with a broken Lexi, she is struggling to come to terms with the fall out of the recent attack that almost ended her life.
The prologue has to be one of the most heart wrenching, I have ever read, laying emotions and fears on the line, leaving you reeling !

This book tells the tale of how Lexi rebuilds her life and the struggle to find herself after the attack left her lost.Lexi isn't alone any more, her friends want to help her, but Lexi is so used to handling everything alone. How will she cope with this new development ? Will she find the old Lexi? Or has she gone forever ? Lexi has to be the best female lead ever, she's clever , sassy, has a dirty mouth and says excatly what she wants.

There are some highly entertaining scenes mainly between Lexi and Dan there's something about their banter that has me laughing until I cry, Dan has to be the best secondary character ever written. He is crude, rude, annoying , sexy and at times very vulnerable and I love him ! Actually the secondary characters are as important as the main two. These books are about a family, one I've come to love and I will sadly miss them all . Thanks T Gephart for an amazing series, you rock girl !

Tina Gepart did it again. She wrote a book that had me awake long after I should have been asleep because I had to reach the end.
In the third and final instalment of the Lexi series, we once again meet Lexi (of course), Alex (sigh), Matt (another sigh), James and Hannah as well as the rest of the Power Station boys. I almost forgot Darnell. I know he’s not a central character, but I really love that man and his dry sense of humour.
If you loved the first two books in the Lexi series, A Twist of Fate and A Leap of Faith, you are definitely going to love this book as well. As usual, the author takes you on the roller coaster ride that is Lexi and Alex’s life. Of course, Power Station has its own ride in this carnival, but it’s not quite as wild. Like a roller coaster, Lexi has her ups and downs and I definitely felt a variety of emotions while reading A Time for Hope.
She is still the same Lexi who doesn’t take s*#Y for anyone, although maybe a bit subdued at the beginning of the book as she recovers from her rape. Alex, of course, is supportive and I think I love him even more. But there were always plenty of times when I couldn’t help laughing out loud, especially the scenes in which Dan was involved.
I’m a bit sad now that this series is finished, but I loved the way Tina Gepart finished it. I finished the book at 1a.m. last night with a smile on my face.
In Lexi’s words, I gave A Time For Hope 5 f*#*ing stars!

The story begins post incident that ended Book #3 with Lexi trying to deal with the aftermath and also with her weak, timid personality change. She’s desperately trying to get back the old Lexi both for herself and for Alex.

One can’t but love Alex in this one with his fierce determination in helping Lexi overcome her fears and move onwards. And with the added help of therapy, friends, bootcamp and a little disguise - sassy, foul-mouthed, bossy Lexi is back. And Taylah is an absolute riot in this one and a true friend. You also gotta love Dan – the horndog with questionable morals – but quick to have Lexi’s back and also LOL funny. I’m sorry to have mistakenly read his book ‘High Strung’ before the Lexi series but can easily see the progression in his character.

Again I cannot say enough about the amazing carry-through characters in this series and the flawless writing style. And what a great Epilogue to end Lexi and Alex’s amazing journey to their well-deserved HEA. And the added police drama updates as to the status of the bad guys was a nice bonus touch.

Just finished this book and I so loved Lexi! Lexi was different than most female characters that she was a strong, independent woman that new what she wanted and went after it. She was not afraid to grab the bull by the horns and take control. In the third and final installment of the book series, we got a chance to see Lexi try to regain herself from the brutal attack in the second book. Would I like about this book was how the author gave us a chance to see how Lexi had to overcome her nightmare and try to regain some of her old self again. But I liked the advice Taylah gave her, maybe it was time to embrace the new Lexi, and leave the old Lexi behind. The new Lexi may be better than the old. It was so many examples of strong women in this story-Taylah, Sydney, and Chris-which just made it even better. The damsel in distress can be overwhelming at times. And Alex was just hot ! He was the perfect rock start alpha male. I’m so happy to have read this series.

I bloody love Lexi! She's a kick ass chick, but the prologue almost broke my heart. This book starts with her broken, a shadow of her former self, but she's still managed to retain a touch of bitch :-)

There are so many great moments I'd love to share from this book, but that would be unfair, you need to experience them for yourself.

Dan...well Dan is Dan, he speaks without thinking, his mind is totally focused on sex, he's inappropriate, but you've got to love him. There are times I almost saw some redeeming features in him, but let's not be hasty!

Alex is the Viking God he's always been. And Alex in leather trousers in a smoking hot club scene... Phew!

I for one am going to miss Lexi, she's been entertaining, inspiring, sassy, spunky and funny. I'm just hoping she can be persuaded to make an encore performance.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE all four books of this series!!!! What a beautiful ending/beginning to Alex and Lexi's life together. A Time For Hope met all my expectations and was nothing short of wonderful. There was no shortage sexiness between Alex (yummmmmm) and Lexi and not to mention how funny this series is. Lexi is a bad ass and doesnt take shit from anyone, and Alex...well he is the epitome of sexy rock start guitar player. All the characters were written wonderfully and I felt like I was part of their group. And Dan!!!! He may be inappropriate at times but I LOVEEEE his sense of humor and thought he was hilarious. Its sad for this series to come to an end but I was happy with how it all turned out and I am happy that Lexi was able to get to a place where she was happy with herself and her new life. Way to go Ms. Gephart...I cant wait to see what you have in store for us next :)

Wow it's almost midnight and I just finished this amazing journey! Started the first book only 3 days ago and just couldn't put this series down!! Love love loved it!!

Strong female lead! Wish I had some of Lexi's attributes! She is a straight talking, head strong, independent woman with a big heart! I loved her!! She had to have the perfect match and she did with Alex the big hearted, charming, quick witted, sexy tall blonde Viking looking lead guitarist rock god lol!

Brilliant story about two amazing but flawed people not looking for love and finding it thanks to fate! You have to read this! It's an overall feel good with some big bumps in the road! But you will love all the characters!!! 5/5!!!

Characters 4.5 Plot 4 Overall 4.25
This book was a great read just like the first two.
This book picks up where the last one left off. We are watching Lexi to struggle to put the pieces of her life back after the terrible attack in Australia. Alex is still by her side. Trying to help her as much as he can. He loves her and it's hard for him to see his wife struggle with the pain she is going through.
I loved Lexi's character. T. Gephart wrote her in just the right ways. You feel Lexi's struggles and heart felt emotions right along with her while you are reading. You also felt for Alex and the emotional relationship he had to endure trying to help things get back to normal and move on.

I loved this must read trilogy and Lexi's 0.5 and the other characters in 1.5. All round this was excellent reading, highly engaging and extremely entertaining all the way. I laughed and cried and smiled all the way through the book. Lexi was a complex and interesting character. It was refreshing to have a strong, hard arse, no take prisoners female lead that deep down was truly broken. Nevertheless Lexi owned who she was and made no excuses. She came through strong and true to herself in the getting her well deserved HEA. And why shouldn't she with the gorgeous Viking Alex. There were some hot and heavy scenes that truly suited the characters and this book.

This is the final book in the Lexi Series. It is fun to catch up with the Power Station band, as they are such an entertaining group. As the story of Lexi and Alex continues, their love grows stronger. Lexi finally gains the confidence in herself that helps her mature. Alex is such an understanding and very patient husband. His devotion to Lexi is unwavering. He accepts her just as she is, and supports his wife through thick and thin. Lexi even manages to surprise Alex a couple of times in this story. It is my understand, even though this is the last book in the Lexi Series, the story will continue with a new series about Power Station. Rating: 4.5 Stars

Yay! After finishing the series I am coming away very happy! The author really hit her stride the farther into the series we went, seamlessly injecting humor (Dan is hilarious as is the epilogue!) while also dealing with serious issues like PTSD. I love how the book didn't inject the typical issues of jealousy or threat of cheating given groupies/rock star, but dealt more with who Alex and Lexi were as people and the undeniable connection they had. This book had great dialog, sassy and independent heroine to root for, swoon worthy hero, amazing cast of side characters, steamy love scenes, and an appropriate epilogue. What a great way to end this series on such a high note!
