Ugh I wanna see then shift into raccoons. More added drama and angst. Also screw Ro. I hate him. I hope his pillow is uncomfortably warm.

This is book two of the Black Ops Fated Mates Why Choose Polyam Romance series and the main character gluing everything together is Parker Hansley, who is the fated mate to a whole team of Supernatural Team 3 agents, Trux, Rhiot, Ryker, Grayson, Kearan and Seph. She has only just found out her demon side and triggered the mating bond with the leader of the team, Trux, but it not being completed has left him in a possibly dangerous position. Her demonic father Ro has delivered Parker to Major General Dickson, the head of the Supernatural Teams which are part of the Agenti Division of the Military, who has a huge concern about her being involved with his most prized assets. He believes her to be a terrorist, sent to mess with them, so they are holding her and questioning her. They don’t seem to believe that she could be the Tsigo (fated mate) of all six of them, something never heard of before and hard to believe. This book covers a lot of demonic action, with Parker being pulled into a bad situation and having to make a deal with a demon, having a certain three head demonic dog following her around, and more bad stuff with her father messing with her. She manages to form a mating bond with another of the team, but another attempt with another fails badly, leaving her confused. More developments about her demon family are revealed, but her demonic powers have not been under her control at all, so she needs to learn more about them and fast. Shame daddy dearest doesn’t seem to be of any use! A good bit of steamy action when things go right, but she has a lot to learn about her other fated mates and even what they all are! So much more to come but can be a bit if you haven’t read the previous book and a bit of an incomplete adventure still to continue. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

Dusting of Demons is book two of the black ops fated mates why choose polyam romance novel by Zoey Indiana. Parker is half human-half demon bi-woman with six fated mates, in a world where it is rare for a shifter to find even their one fated mate. Parker has five men and one woman as hers. Her father, Ro, is a jerk demon lord who loves nothing more than to cause chaos and anarchy in her life. He’s still pissed she managed to elude vowing service to him. In retaliation he lets the secret government agency know about her. That basically where book one left off and book two picks up. At some point I think I knew the government would find out about her, so the way it came about was fun, frustrating as heck in a ‘why can’t I smack the you know what out of this character’ way?! But now it leaves it open for them to finish bonding and to see where their relationships will go.

Dusting off the Demons is fast paced, told from Parker’s pov. She keeps adding to her menagerie. LOL, not puppies and kittens though. It’s a fun, sexy romp through safehouses, hellscapes, vampire mansions and black ops training courses. Parker is learning about herself, her powers, her place in the world and on the team with her mates. It goes both ways though, they also need to learn about her, they’ve all been a team for years, and she’s new, they all want to protect her, not always asking if they should. In some ways her intimate relationships reflect the team dynamics and how she feels about what is happening around and too her.

Zoey has created an amazing world with a cast of characters that fit together, watching how they grow and where they go next will be fun, and I’m sure it’ll be hot and steamy as well.

Parker finds herself being held by the Feds who her mates work for and she doesn't like it but if she doesn't cooperate her mates will suffer. They allow one mate to be with her and it turns out to be Seph and she upsets the hell hound and Parker has no way to really calm the beast and they are escape because he is running through the compound to freedom but not what they expected. They find themselves in hell and making another deal with the demons forgetting about what her father just told her before he sold her to the Feds. Once she makes an agreement with them they assign one of there own to go along he takes them back to the house she was sharing with her mates and Ryker is there and he helps find info on the talisman they are looking for and where exactly they can find it. They go on a quest that almost ends their lives but they cause some serious havoc and they find there way to a tavern where Ryker has friends and she meets Aryn and her mate and their demon friend she is so incensed that she calls on her father and the the rest of her mates arrive not knowing anything and the alpha is very upset but they get back home safely for the time being. They still have some problems to get solved but first they have to see about Ryker. An interesting story line and characters mostly keeps you turning pages. Book 2 of Black Ops Fated Mates Why Choose Polyam Romance Book starring Parker and six sexy veteran shifter. Wow this one will have you all kinds of emotional and spinning too. What is going on with this mating bond and what will happen to fix it. Wow talk about father of the year, NOT and the family dynamics will have you thinking about pushing back too. I loved the chaos disaster that seems to follow Parker and her mates. I can not wait for the next adventure. This one still has unanswered questions and drama. I am so excited to find out what happens next and will all 7 of them find true happiness and balance in this crazy mating.

Amazing story!! Parker's world is turned upside down with all that is going on. Getting taken, making a deal with a demon, chasing down artifacts, and a failed mating has her feeling overwhelmed. Trying to ease into mating with 6 other has it's issues. But when your determined to find a way, things will work it's self out. This was a great story of a reverse harem. With all the problems life has to offer plus the demon aspect on top of it all to keep us engaged. Entertaining to say the least. Highly recommend this series if you love yourself a good reverse harem. Zoey has a talent to surprise us with the quirkiness of a good storyline.

Parker's life gets even more hectic (I know, who knew that was possible?) as she first finds herself a prisoner at some kind of military installation (Flipping Ro. What kind of father does that?) and then ends up in a demon helllscape that she and Seph can't find a way out of. Another deal with a demon puts them in an even worse position. Add a failed mating to the list and Parker just might go postal on someone...

Well, it's safe to say Parker's father Ro does not win the award for "Best Dad Ever". He is a sinister and diabolical demon. He is mayhem and bedlam personified. Parker has enough to worry about trying to get her bearings upon finding out she is half demon with 6 mates to boot, without her father driving her to distraction and getting under her skin at every chance he gets.

This second story is definitely full of action, steam and humor. I found myself LOLing quite a bit reading this book. I am excited to see how this all comes together in the next adventure.

If you thought things were crazy for Parker in the first book well the author has turned it up some. Parker seems like such a nice person who just wants to be normal. There are times that I could totally feel her exasperation of everything. Her demon dad is causing more problems for her and her mates. But it does bring her a lot closer to Seph and there relationship gets pretty hot (expect f/f). Her relationship with the others is still growing but plenty of bumps along the way. The group and some friends will literally go to hell and back. I love the demons we meet and how they love to remind us that all demons are tricky and love to make chaos.

Well Parker is well and truly a member of the team... a mating bond is causing trouble and demons are kidnapping Parker! A crazy world of demons is unfolding for Parker and her mates are having a hard time of dealing with these demons. Seph and Parker are on the right track.... new friends are found/made thanks to Ryker. A whole new chapter of crazy is upon them. Cerbie is a loos cannon but that is about to change... a ton of drama and more in the episode! Looking forward to the next chapter in the crazy life of Parker's!

The good: the sweet relationship development between Seph and Parker. These women were the reason I didn't DNF this book.

The okay: This book is better than the first in getting more character back stories and giving them depth rather than just throwing random scenes and letting the reader make it up. But still so much is missing.

The bad: very frustrating ending since it said 2 of 2 books, I assumed it meant the series was complete... that isn't what it meant, and it ends on a cliffhanger.
Side personal annoyance, the cover has raccoons, so I expected that to play into the story, they arent in the book, I genuinely have no idea the purpose of them on the cover other than attention.

Parker and her Tsigo harem are not having the best of time. Her father is still causing chaos bringing new players to the game of her life. Travelling to hell realms, and training facilities, held against her will, trying to understand and control her powers, all while trying to complete bonds with her mates and not always succeeding.
An action packed, fun, steamy and often emotional read with twists and hard times.
What now for Ryker in this cliffhanger? I can’t wait for the next instalment.

I think this is where this series and I will part ways. Too many things happening, not enough character development to sustain the relationships between the characters, and the inability to suspend disbelief that when faced with so much adversity so quickly no rebound time is needed felt impossible. I constantly felt like the main character needed time to process and that more world building was coming for both her and us the readers but it never arrived. This was originally a Kindle Vella and maybe it works in that space but definitely doesn’t work in this longer novel format.

This is part of a series and each book ends in a cliffhanger.
This is the second part, it picks up where the first one left off. It is a great story line, but way too much info and no way to make sense of it all. I'm sure by the end of the series it will make more sense, but currently I'm still finding it hard.

This, the second installment, is a well written book following Parker and her mates. She has learned she is half demon, and doesn't know how to deal with the fallout of that revelation. Her sexy shifter mates try to help her, while mating with her.

There are steamy sex scenes as well as dramatic adventure scenes.

A good story oif you like fantasy reads.

OH MY LANTA!! I am living for Seph and Parker. I just love how Seph balances her when she’s overwhelmed and all over the place. The surprises, twists and turns in this book was just great. I had my omg moments and laughing moments lol. I definitely was not disappointed with Book 2. I am looking forward to the next because things are just getting interesting.

One Chaotic Ride - And It’s Not Over Yet

Parker’s father has dropped her and her mates in figurative hot water, and he’s not done causing chaos in her lifer yet. On top of that, there’s mates to claim, quests to fulfill, new allies and demons to deal with. There’s alot going on in this story, so it kept me engaged, of a little scattered as I tried to keep track of the who’s and the where’s. Things are heating up - I’m excited to read the next book in the series.

Picking up right where we left off in the first book, Parker finds herself in the hands of her demon Father. One bad situation after another, this book has her and her mates being dragged through danger and immerses us in the demon world the Parker comes from. On top of all that, the mating bond isn't working like it should.
This one was a wild ride. I love the humor mixed through, and unexpected twists definitely have me wanting more!

I feel pretty similarly about this one as I did the previous book.
I’m curious enough about the storyline to keep reading but Parker is annoying the heck out of me. A selfish, whiny FMC who seems to care very little about all but one of her “mates”. She spends most of the book complaining.
We’re also 2 books into the trilogy and we know next to nothing about the pack.
I’m struggling with some pacing issues too.
I’ll read the last book to see how it all plays out.

I won't finish this series. I stuck with the second one just to see if it would get better but it did not. The story just rotates over and over with the same things. The meat of the story has possibilities but never goes anywhere. The 'cliffhanger' is not a cliffhanger but like the end of a chapter.

Wildly entertaining and exciting but I feel too much is still random. Like how Parker finds her sister. Parker and Rykers failed mating. Even the mystery with her demon powers. I feel like nothing is truly fitting. Where is the story going? I'm confued but curious to know how she and the team will make it through.
