March 17th is supposed to be lucky, but for Japanese grad student Kosuke, the opposite seems to be true. Not only are his food funds quickly running out, but every time he comes back to his cold, wet apartment, he discovers something else that has fallen apart. Nevertheless, he hopes to have a nice quiet spring break on a mostly deserted campus… but he has no idea what magic is in store for him! M/M (gay) short story. 9600 words. Cute & unique.
A very unusual idea & I support it 100%. Ko's situation is very relatable & his story definitely draws you in. The end is too abrupt, though. The descriptions & scene building were so detailed in the beginning up to Conall's introduction into the story. That should have been when this really good story became excellent. Instead rushed into a sex scene & ended, leaving a sense of disappointment that I kind of want to knock down to a 3 or 2 star rating. It was a freebie, though, & I was totally wrapped up for about 8000 of the 9600 word count, so I can't be that harsh. I want to, but I won't.

Different
Something I have not read about before so that was cool. I thought the way some things were worded during the sex scene were not good. I don't know if it was meant to be funny but it came across as immature. It would be cool for an expanded story involving either these two or just the world.

Free read for mr from amazon. I felt this was cute had potential, the ending was to quick.
