Angel Moreno and Sarah Fiero fell in love in Forever Mine. They beat the odds of high school sweethearts withstanding the test of time. Trust has not been an issue in years.

Enter the tatted, muscled, and intriguing bad boy, Leonardo.

Leonardo quickly sets his sights on Sarah. Despite Angel's utter irritation with the guy, he has no choice but to allow Leo in Sarah's life because he's family--a long lost relative. Even more unsettling is Sarah's excitement about the whole thing.

As Sarah and Leo's relationship grows uncomfortably closer, Angel reminds himself the guy is family. Then things get weird. The change in Sarah is unmistakable, and Angel fears his worst nightmare is coming true.

Is it possible forever has gone on too long for Sarah?

There's no shortage of edge-of-your-seat, angsty drama, tears, and laughter as Angel and Sarah's love is put to the ultimate test in this addition to the Moreno Brother series.

New Adult Contemporary - *Mature Content* Recommended for ages 17+ due to sexual situations and language.

WARNING: I'm hung the fuck over.

description

So:

DON'T read if you are sensitive and don't like profanity.
DON'T whine to me about it if you still choose to continue and then get your panties in a twist.

The above applies to most of my reviews, but this one has more than most and, sadly, is probably a more accurate reflection of how I actually speak IRL.

Because CLASSY.

But I digress.

The "Review":

I would rather beat my head continuously against a fucking brick wall before ever reading this again.

description

In fact, I deserve having my head used as Mike Tyson's punching bag (since it feels like that's what is happening anyway) just for being retarded enough to waste precious nap time moments my life actually finishing this piece of total shit.

In fact, where is Mike?

I volun-fucking-teer.

description

The insecurities, distrust and omissions of information - also known to the rest of us as fucking LIES - that ran rampant throughout this book made me want to slam some characters' heads against a brick wall right along with my own.

Actually, scratch that.

Just that c$^t Sarah's head.

The supposed sweet-hearted goodie-goodie that everyone loves and fawns over?

I would fucking slam that bitch into next week.

What a fucking idiot and, quite frankly, what a LIAR.

If I could do my own casting for this book, I would pick a spineless, air-headed, narcissistic weasel to play Sarah.

Or a hairless mole rat.

Me or Sarah?

I'll let you decide, cause I don't even care right now.

And where the FUCK is my Excedrin.

At over 300 pages, this is more of a full-length novel. I thought it dragged. The heroine spent too much time inner-monologuing. I felt this was a repeat of their previous book but with a new threat to Angel. In book 1, it was Sarah's male BFF, Sydney. In this book, it was her supposed half brother, Leo. I love seeing Angel get all jealous and possessive but the plot was pretty much a recycled version of book 1. The whole Leo thing was creepy for most of the book because his behavior around Sarah was inappropriate. It turned out he wasn't her brother at all, but that wasn't revealed until almost the end. The saving grace for this book was Angel and the epilogue. Angel is still the alpha sweetheart I love. And the epilogue is why I rounded up to 4 Stars. Angel’s marriage proposal was heart-meltingly sweet. It pulled at my heartstrings. I’m a sucker for epic endings.

Note:
The sex scenes here weren’t fade to black as they were in book 1. Not explicit either but I still found them satisfying. Because of Angel 🔥

I don’t like the book covers, ugh.

Wow...ummmm...I JUST finished this book and I have tears running down my face. I like to write my reviews as soon as I finish, so that everything is fresh in my mind, but I'm not sure I have the words right now. First off, I will admit that I am a HUGE Elizabeth Reyes fan, and I LOVE the Moreno series. But, I never saw this one coming. I always felt like there was more to Angel and Sara's story, but I NEVER could have imagined this. I am an emotional wreck right now. I love these two together. They couldn't be more perfect for each other, but that doesn't mean things are easy for them. Forever Yours is like being on a roller coaster, followed by the tilt-a-whirl, ending with Splash Mountain. It will make you feel anxious to hot to suspicious to relieved to outraged to heartbroken to deep-deep love. I made it through this whole book with only a stray tear, until the freaking epilogue. Damn you Elizabeth, you wrecked me and left me with the unstoppable urge to devour the entire Moreno series again. I don't have time for this. My TBR list is too long to do any re-reading. Crap. *sigh* *looking through library for Forever Mine*

Forever Yours, by Elizabeth Reyes, is the continuing story of Forever Mine, in the Moreno Brother's Series. In Forever Mine, the reader gets the beginning of the romance between Angel and Sarah, as they fall in love, and go through the high school years. In Forever Yours, the reader gets the dual perspectives of both characters as they are going through the college years and working very hard at the Moreno's restaurant. I love knowing what is going on through both characters heads at the same time, and who better to do that than the incomparable, Elizabeth Reyes! She has the readers on pins and needles throughout the book, holding their breath, angry as hell, and filling the story full of romance, intrigue, mystery, heartbreak, and earth shattering drama, as only she can painstakingly weave. These two characters are madly in love and it shows in everything they do. Mind you that Angel is a hot blooded Moreno, and can't help but let out his, "Alpha Sparks," whenever his feathers get ruffled, and we see his crazed, lunatic, insecure male ego, Moreno style!!! (and believe me when I say, it happens a lot!) Every extra moment they have, they are together, as always, their love and loyalty is apparent.

In this segment, there is a surprise in town and Angel is not very happy about it! The green eyed monster glares it's ugly head more than Angel would like to admit. Sarah and Angel have struggles that await them, and they are truly tested during this phase of their relationship, in more ways than one. Sarah has a few surprises in store for her and a chance, she thinks, to develop what the Moreno Family has and she has always had and she has secretly envied, a family filled with unity and loyalty. Unfortunately, Sarah is in for the roller coaster ride of her life and Angel is along for the ride. Being the over-protective boyfriend that he has always been, Angel only wants her to be happy. While his concerns are valid, at times, he can get over the top, while trying be the keeper of Sarah's heart. Sydney makes an appearance in Forever Yours, and quite an impression. I think we might me lucky enough to see him again in the future. He really is a good guy, always waiting in the wings for Sarah, with best intentions for her happiness.

A major upheaval develops, when Sarah is faced with deceit, where she is vulnerable and a bit gullible at times. She is a wonderful character, filled with kindness and she is very unscathed with her thought process. On the other hand, Angel makes up for the qualities his innocent girlfriend does not possess. He is the one always waiting for the other shoe to fall, always suspicious, always ready for the fight of his life. In Forever Yours, Angel and Sarah have to find a way to pull their resources together and not let the bad fight win out and destroy their relationship in order to make it through this enduring avalanche of emotional turmoil. It is wonderful, that again, the reader is brought full circle with the whole gang once again from the Moreno Brother's Series, along with a sneak peak at 5th Street Series, and Romero's classic thrust segment, that has all us girls at A Bookish Escape grinning from ear to ear, and lusting for more...

The character growth is great in this book, and romance is never in short supply, when it comes to the, "Queen of Romance" telling her wonderful stories. There is always plenty to go around... Sarah is the Yin to Angel's Yang. They are truly soul mates and their love will endure. Though Angel is hot headed, egotistical at times, ill tempered, pessimistic Alpha Male; he is also, nurturing, lovable, loyal, and know's hot to cook in more ways than one, and always keeps those home fires burning. Get your hankie's ready, once again girls, because this is not a ride for the meek. You will be torn from limb to limb when you are done reading this story and it's dynamic epilogue. Give us some more Eli, we are holding our breath, waiting...

I give, Forever Yours, by Elizabeth Reyes, 5 Tear Jerking, Pelvic Thrusting, Earth Shattering, Love Making Stars!!!

This book was so frustrating. I enjoyed the first book and knew there would be some degree of jealousy but this book was just too much! The paranoia, jealousy, and over protectiveness goes way over the top! It made me angry to read it because it was so frustrating. It was more annoying that Angels friends were often the ones egging him on to put doubts in his mind. I also thought there was a few double standards it seemed Angel could get away with so much more than Sarah. Whenever anything happened with Angel sure Sarah would be a little jealous and curious but never over reacted or let anything get in the way of their relationship but hell if Sarah so much as talked to a guy Angel or his friends gave her hell. Also I hate the fact the author revealed Sydney was in love with Sarah that ruined everything for me! Why couldn't they have just been best friends like Sarah had said, it angers me that Reyes took this direction because it's almost like she is saying boys and girls can never be just friends and that it was ok for Angel to be as paranoid as he was because he was right. However the plot was interesting and nothing stopped me from finishing the book so it was good enough to keep me wanting to read until the end which says something. At least there was a happy ending to this.

If you liked Forever Mine you’ll like this one. I’m so glad the author decided to write another bk featuring Angel/Sarah as they’re my favorite couple. This story is an NA one with Angel/Sarah in college. Angel is at his all time most jealous as only a Moreno can be and he has plenty of cause. Angel thought Sarah’s friend Sydney was a problem but he’s got bigger problems now. Sarah’s “dad and brother” who she’s never met suddenly surface looking for Sarah. What brother you ask? That’s what Angel’s thinking. He’s got issues with the hot 19 yr old, tatted, muscled bad boy “Leo” from the beginning but Sarah just wants to get to know her new found family members. And Leo wants nothing more than to get to know his “sister”. The mystery surrounding the dad and brother had me guessing the whole time. Were Angel’s suspicions dead on or was it just his overly jealous nature?

I just love those wildly jealous, hot tempered Moreno’s which of course includes Romero. I was glad Alex and Romero have bit parts to play in this story although all the characters are there. LOL! Gotta love Romero, the guy is so abrasive and over the top, just hilarious. You'll love the ending with a very sweet HEA. I’ll go with a 4.5 stars on this one because I love these characters.

Hmm.. Where to start?
Lemme just say that i freakin LOVE The Moreno Brothers series. Angel, Alex, Sal, Romero and even Eric. Love them all! Elizabeth Reyes is one of my favourite Authors. So i'd read anything she writes, without question! But "Forever Yours" was not what i expected!

Angel -
His jealousy & possessive-nature was abit overbearing. It got to the point where it was down-right annoying! At times i could see where he was coming from..but other times, im like "wtf?!".. He honestly can't be that narrow-minded!

Sarah -
Mmm.. Still the kind-hearted girl i remember. Although i was extremely pissed that she omitted the truth several times to Angel. So eh. Not my favourite person.

Storyline -
Well.. Drama. Drama. Drama.
Sheesh. It was like a freakin rollercoaster!

All in All i liked it but didn't love it!

It has been over a year since I've read a Moreno book and it is good to be back. I nearly forgot how protective Angel is and how crazy Romeo acts. It really feels like a family reunion, reading Forever Yours. The main focus is of course Angel and Sarah, but the gang is all here and I'm loving it!

Angel and Sarah are now in college and life is pretty good for them. They are still happily in love and all is going very well between them. Though that might change when Sydney comes to visit with some big news. I really nearly forgotten how much Angel disliked Sarah's relationship with Sydney, but he was there fast to remind me.

After discovering that Sydney broke up with his girlfriend and will be going to UCLA now, doesn't put Angel in the best of moods. So from the start there is a lot of tension. Now the news he brings is even worse. It seems that Sarah's mom has been lying to her and that her dad is now trying to get in touch with her and it seems that Sarah has a half brother.

Kind of an overload for this girl and she does not know how to handle it all. On the one hand she is really curious about her dad and mostly her brother, on the other hand she is afraid it will turn out into nothing and leaving her rejected again. Still she decides to take a chance and contacts them through mail.

By now you know how Angel works and you know he isn't happy with the situation at all. He wants to support Sarah, though he has his reservations on the whole ordeal. Certainly when her 'brother' sends half naked pictures of himself to Sarah and calls her beautiful. I agree with Angel that immediately you feel like something fishy is going on, but you don't know what it just is.

Sarah is pretty oblivious about it all and is just happy she now has a brother, new family. Which is all she has ever wanted. Often she was envious of Sophie of having brothers looking out for her and the bond between siblings. Now she has a chance to experience it herself. Still talking for hours through Skype with her brother might seem a bit overboard and when things aren't what they seems, she might be in too deep.

So we have Angel and his brothers kind of feeling weirded out about the whole ordeal. Me as well, you keep having that feeling of something is just not right. Still Angel doesn't know what to do about it since the guy hasn't done anything really wrong yet. Meanwhile Sarah is almost jumping heads in the whole sibling bonding. Thus creating tension between her and Angel. When there are other situations in which they are not near each other and some things happen, their trust in each other will be tested!

Forever Yours is another great read in the Moreno series. It was wonderful catching up with everyone again. Angel is still that overprotective, alpha male, doom thinker, but you know it is all about the love he has for Sarah. And Sarah is still that sweet, bit naive, cup half full kind of girl. Lots of drama and tension in this one, though the making up scenes are smoking and make it all worth it! And that epilogue will blow you away, it was one of my favourite moments in the entire book. It's just so sweet and shows you once again how amazing all these characters are and why we love them so much.

Okay, let's just take a second to appreciate that the author actually listens to what the readers want. I know I wanted to read more about Angel and Sarah (I think she could write 100 books about them and I still wouldn't be satisfied)-especially after the quick ending in the first book. I don't think I could have loved this book more. I was scared to death when I first picked it up because of how mean Elizabeth Reyes can be to some characters (*coughs* Brandon *coughs*) but I had little to worry about.
We all know that relationships that start in high school can be tough to carry on through college and beyond. Sarah and Angel clearly love each other, but they aren't exempt from that rule. Some crazy-ass things happen in this book (nothing too mean though), and relationships are put to the test. It did not fail to entertain me and even kept me on the edge of my seat at times. There is definitely not a lack of romance, steamy scenes, and even some mystery. I finished with a calming sense of closure (although I'm more than ready for Sydney's book).
This book does not lack the brilliance that I expect from a novel written by Elizabeth Reyes. I've been a huge fan since I read Noah and I continue to love the next book more than the last.
If you're a fan of Angel and Sarah, do yourself a favor and read this novel.

OK. I have to start this review by stating that I am majorly biased because I have a thing for Angel Moreno (he was one of my first book boyfriends) and this book did not disappoint! some have claimed (in their reviews) that Angel's behavior in this book was over the top and petty (his jealousness and over protectiveness), but I say that behavior is exactly what makes Angel's character so appealing! I myself kept flipping back and forth and whether or not Leo was a good guy or bad guy! And Romero- Love that guy! The epilogue was EPIC! I swooned at the video scene!

If you haven't read this series, I definitely recommend it. please read them in order. stuff like that drives me crazy!

I really enjoyed this book. Even though at times I found myself rolling my eyes at Sarah a little less because she was not as gullible like last book, which I was proud of. Even tho she knew something was not right she still wanted to move forward but I completely understood why! Being in her shoes and feeling the way she felt I might have continued just like she had. But omg!!! That ended tho... the BEST in book history! Never have I read anything being done like that and I was just floored! I swear Angel had me in complete tears. And the reason behind why he did it in that way after what happen to Sarah made it soooooo much freaking sweeter! Damn that's one Moreno brother that gets my stamp of approval 10 fold. I am definitely looking forward to reading about the other Moreno siblings ♥

Forever Yours is the follow up to Elizabeth Reyes' Forever Mine. It further explores Angel and Sarah's relationship in college. Angel is still the jealous football player trying to overcome all his suspicions. Sarah is still the beautiful, sweet girl with Sydney as her best friend. What's new is Sarah's dad and half brother come looking for her. Sarah is excited to have another family connection. Angel's not so sure he trusts her new found family or their intentions.

Forever Yours was a fun read. If you loved Forever Mine, you will definitely love this one. You will be rooting for Angel and Sarah's relationship the entire time and the ending is swoon worthy. Definitely an Elizabeth Reyes must read.

I love to revisit a couple and a series that I am very fond of. Angel and Sarah are in their 2nd year of college and are working through a new situation. Her father and brother have surfaced and want to connect with her. Turns out that there is much to be wary of considering Angel finds it all very suspicious. He was right. Can't get over how much Facebook, texting and phones are a part of this story but it is very much a part of their lives and how instantly things can be misconstrued. The ending with the video was precious. very nice!

Totally enjoyed it!
We get to revisit Angel and Sarah during their college years. Angel is still territorial and the new issue that arises and throws a kink in their relationship is the mysterious presence of Sarah's father and brother from her past.
Great story with an awesome HEA!! It was the perfect conclusion to their epic romance.
