Oddly, I don't feel right giving this a 3⭐️ but I similarly don't feel okay giving it a 4⭐️. In large part because of how long it's been since I finished it and how little I can remember of my experience with it. I know that I felt pretty mid for most of it but that certain things stuck out to me. I could skim the volume to spark my memory but I simply don't feel like it right now. I will be continuing the series until it's very end no matter what. I've had them preordered for over a year now. So, don't take this rating or review as a bad sign. I tend to do this with series. It can start to feel a bit drug out or episodic in the middle. That bores me. But I'm sure, as it has with so many series before it, the ending will come through for me.
Killing, Stalking is deeply, psychologically, disturbing but the story really does pull you in and I always pick up a volume every time that a new one is released! I’m always left feeling uneasy by the end, as the story goes on it gets even more dark, somehow. I’m glad I order the physical copies so it gives me a little break between to collect myself because omg… I truly cannot even begin to describe this - but if you are a fan of extreme horror, mixed in with some detective/crime fiction, then this is the series for you. Korean media has been really killing it the past few years! So many incredible stories from talent over there.
This is my least favorite Killing Stalking volume so far. My eyes bled from the shocking content, but I was also shocked in a mind-blowing way at the same time. A lot was happening here and then sometimes nothing happened at all. It was all over the place. I didn't hate it but I didn't love it like the other volumes.
i cannot bring myself to rate this because it does the job (makes me feel horrified and horrible) so it should be like 4/5 or something but it also makes me feel like a 1/5.
this could also qualify as a christmas story which makes me feel not jolly. the ending makes me a little happy at least.
The graphic novel "Killing Stalking" vol. 6, undoubtedly offered a series of unexpected plot developments and thought provoking questions. What actions will Yoon and Sangwoo take next? How will their emotions continue to develop? These are some of the questions that may arise in the minds of the readers. The level of intimacy between the two main characters becomes increasingly captivating as the story progresses. The inclusion of a police interrogation scene and glimpses of Sangwoo's childhood provide further depth to the narrative. The revelation of Yoon's uncle as another plot twist and a source of conflict with Sangwoo adds to the intrigue. The way Sangwoo frequently mentions girls while maintaining a unique and seemingly twisted relationship with Yoon is also noteworthy. There is certainly more to be said and explored in the series. I highly recommend this Boys' Love series, as it showcases Koogi's exceptional talent as both an artist and an author.

[2.75 stars] I have mixed feelings about this one.
It's a devastating volume with an apt ending considering what's been revealed about Bum and Sangwoo. And for a moment, it's refreshing how there's a part where Bum manages to gain the upper hand and subverts his "stereotypical" character.
It's sick and upsetting how abusers can get a hold of their victims even in the aftermath. I was starting to get worried that the volume was heading toward a certain direction, with it including a lot of so-called "fluff" that teetered around romance for the sake of fan service.
Ultimately, the series is a tragic tale on what full-on abuse and extreme manipulation look like; but with the nature of how graphic and violent the portrayal is, you can't help but wonder how much of it is just meant to be fetishistic.
To call this series a BL is like calling Lolita or It Ends With Us a romance book. Bum is a victim and has stockholm syndrome. Sangwoo is a The ending made me feel so sick, like I was going to throw up. It's a great ending. I loved this series but I don't think I'd recommend anyone to read it.
That chapter of Seungbae's dream where he's interviewed by Sangwoo is SO good. Reminds me of Bum's weird dream of walking down a hallway and watching a movie of his own traumatic past. Speaking of which, Bum's R18 dream is also insaaaaannneeee!!! Istg Koogi is so so so great at panelling a suspense/thriller comic. This will translate SO well as a movie/tv show, this comic is practically a golden storyboard.
Idc what anyone says but Seungbae is just so freaking hot hfdkhddj. Not as hot as Sangwoo, but defo more husbando-able. Plus, this volume finally shows Bum's resistance like the first volume. I miss this sm. We rarely see his angry face and I'm happy he stood his ground, and not in the baby way. And Sangwoo.... man, Sangwoo's past...... I totally forgot about it during my first read. It does make me understand his actions, but doesn't mean I give him a pass due to it.
Overall, Koogi once again proves how great she is at crafting engaging characters and entertaining story. Whatever people say about this story, it's still a goddamn great piece of fiction and comic.
PS. The ending in sm more depressing than the rest of the story lol. I prefer it if Bum lives on despite the loss, killing himself, or even do suicide. Not that he's killed by a car fhdkbddj PPS. Seungbae is so freaking hot, I want him for myself lol PPPS. Koogi said that in order to answer the question "does Sangwoo actually love Bum?" then readers need to read the final chapter. And the final chapter says that Sangwoo keeps on calling Bum's name in the hospital, so that might've implied him loving Bum. But then it's explicitly said in one of the panels and in the author's interview that Sangwoo is heterosexual??? So ig he's biromantic but heterosexual????? I'm still confused.

OK, yes, I know I said I was done with this series after reading volume 5, but then I did a thing that is very unlike me, and I looked up how this entire series ends. Yep, I cheated. And I have to admit, it wraps up in a much more interesting way than I anticipated.
I didn't read everything that happens between volume 5 and the last volume, so most of this volume was a surprise. And this time around, maybe because I now know how things will end up playing out, I felt that this volume has a lot of psychological tension that I wasn't quite feeling in the previous volumes. Up to this point I was just really frustrated with the rollercoaster of Sangwoo giving Yoon Bum praise, only to then set him up for punishment. Of course he's still doing it, because it's working and he's slowly tearing down Yoon Bum psychologically and leaving him an empty shell that only knows how to exist when Sangwoo is with him. Poor Bum is even hallucinating at this point. Things are looking grim for our mc, but now that I know the direction this story is headed, I'm back along for the ride.
I can never seem to predict (at all…) what will happen next. You will stay on the edge of your seat throughout the series but ooooo the ending on this one has me itching for the next. Yes, it’s a fucked up series, this many editions in, you should know that by now. 😂 If you do, you know you secretly love it. 😉 Just accept it and let the dark take over, just for a little bit. You’ll spend the next hour contemplating your decisions but you won’t be able to stop reading. This is one of my favorite series, every page gets better and more thrilling. It’s #6 so by now the crazy and horrific I’m used to. At this point I’m engulfed in the story and all of the triggers are.. less triggering? Is it sad to say I hope the next one shocks me all over again? The initial shock brought me into the series so I want another shock of thrill, scare, and that feeling of I probably shouldn’t read this in front of anyone else LOL.
I went back and forth on how many stars to rate this..
A few thoughts on the ending...
Abuse is such a tricky thing to write. Those who have lived through any type of abuse, it stays with you throughout life. Changes you. Much like with Bum, he lost the will to leave, and stayed with his abuser, calling it love. But it was always love for him, wasn't it?
I didn't really know how to take Sangwoo bringing Bums uncle into play. Then the aftermath, Bums headspace mixed with the dreams and Sangwoos memories was really well done. It was a twisted sense of fuckery that just fit so well with the general theme of the whole series.
This book was alot. Hell, the whole series is alot. Definitely not for those of the faint of heart, or weak stomachs, that's for sure. Overall, a solid messed up series of the ugly side of depraved minds brought up front messed up childhoods.

And I’m never going to be able to watch Fantastic Mr. Fox the same way ever again 😳
Idk why the direction of this installment was kind of confusing. I feel like ever since vol. 5 Koogi has gone for this Utena vibe of showing things that may or may not be real and trying to be artistic about it. That’s fine, but with so few words and just straight graphics, it’s hard to tell the direction of the story.
I’m happy to see the old man gone though, he deserved it and he’s the only one of Sangwoo’s victims I actually don’t feel bad for. It’s interesting to see Bum’s internal conflict over his death, like at some point he did treat him well and “love” him before he abused him. I think it shows his conference and his willingness to overlook Sangwoo’s many “faults”.
Definitely a lot more of “what the actual f” moments in this installment.
Well… I mean I don’t think it’s scary. It’s definitely not normal lol but if you take into account the trauma that they both experienced then you can see how they might have ended up like that. (No I’m not excusing the behaviour)
I wouldn’t call this a BL, it’s just someone getting control over another regardless of gender. Although I think he particularly hates women and who’d blame him after her!
I enjoyed reading it. I wasn’t disappointed in the ending but it left me with a few unanswered questions and when you check the Q&A all the questions are stupid like how tall is Bum? WTF? Who cares lol
Anyway I don’t think it’s as bad as what people make out I’ve seen worse real life documentaries. I guess it’s just because you get pictures that make it seem worse.
