About the author

K.D. Emerson

16 books34 followers
K.D. Emerson is an award winning author of suspenseful fiction.

She spent a good deal of time as a teacher in a life long ago. She also wrote non-fiction for others as a ghostwriter. Since that time, she left reality behind and has devoted herself to her first love - writing fiction.

Emerson delights in creating thought provoking and action filled stories that will bring her readers back for more. Although her writings often deal with the darkness of humanity, she dishes out healthy doses of laughter and fun along the way.

K.D. spends her free time wrangling wild horses, rafting down the Amazon, hang gliding on a toothpick, and when she's awake you will find her working on her next adventure or assisting other writers in creating their dreams.

Her deepest desire is to leave the earth a little better than when she arrived

This is such a wonderful bundle to read. It inspires and gives one hope, not only for this season but for all year round. It encourages and brings back the smiles of your own adventures, stories and memories from years gone by. They are the memories that had build our character, giving us the foundation for our lives, being the persons who we have become.
It is such an honor to read a book where you know most of the authors, hear their struggles but still stand firm in the knowledge that there is still a future. There is still a reason to move forward and enjoy the richness of this life, sharing it with others.
We can never disregard those moments that builds us, strengthen us, as well as the people that walks with us. They are the reason we are, who we are. Our pillar during times that we need it the most, and a constant reminder of our weakness, keeping us humble at all times.
Thanks for sharing this lovely book with us. I really enjoyed the book, appreciating each author tremendously for who they are.
I loved it so much I gave a few away as gifts. Really a blessing to read.

Over the Christmas holidays, I read several books celebrating the special holiday. This particular book was so touching and brought back some of my childhood Christmas memories. The short stories were all different and unique to the particular author. It was a beautiful look into their lives and most enjoyable.

For a quick uplifting read it wasn't to bad but I expected more. I know most of the authors books and I feel as if this was a hurried book for the holidays. I especially love John Emil Augustine story which was probably because it touched a period in my own life.
