Reunion!! Reunion reunion reunion!!! It all happens so quick. The planet that they were looking for Izabel was about to crack open by birth (when I mean by birth, it is BY BIRTH). I'm not joking! Read it and you'll understand.
Ahh... I've always love family hugs. I wanna have me some hugging now!!!
Yes, there was reunion and there were disagreements as well. I can't help it! They are like bonded for each other for life! Look at them... Aww...
After reading this issue, I never want to mess with any girls anymore. They are mean!!! They are out for revenge with 101% determination that you will die in their hands. And as always, the ending is what makes me wanna read on again. Let's go!
Five stars for the first page alone. Well played, Ms Staples, well played...
Should I even bother gushing about this series anymore? I feel I have noting new to add, my feelings are the usual: it's awesome, single issue comics are too damned short and I continue to wait for horrific tragedy to strike my favourite war-torn alien family.
ok, the egg just cracked... --- We mainly know thing of what's happening in this one by hazel's narrative, I love that! --- Holy crap, no... not the CAT!!!
It's extremely difficult to rate the individual chapters, therefore the following is a review of the second volume. In other words, chapters seven through twelve.
I’m not the biggest lover of graphic novels, but the first volume of Brian K. Vaughan’s Saga left me desperate for more. Therefore, I was more than happy to dive into volume two.
Although I have given this second volume a three-star rating, know it is more of a three-point-five-star rating. In fact, it was even closer to receiving a four-star rating than the first volume. I honestly believe, this may well be one of the rare graphic novel series that does become a four-star rating the deeper into it I get.
With this second volume, we have more of the strange and wonderful storyline we were introduced to in volume one. Providing us with chapters seven through twelve, the bizarre story continues. With this one, we have even more twists thrown in, we’re introduced to even more, and we’re hooked to every page.
Without a doubt, this second volume is more than worth reading if you enjoyed the first.
Oh no, not the Lying Cat! I'd swap the death of everyone else in this series for that, because the Lying Cat is the most entertaining of the lot by far. That's why I suspect, to be honest, that there's going to be some sort of Princess Leia trick pulled, because while cats don't normally survive open space I don't see any real point in ditching the most entertaining character when we're only ten issues into a seventy+ series. (You'll note that I am not expecting an argument that other people may find other characters more interesting. There might be the odd person, but running on the issue's theme they can hardly count.)
I thought the Leia space scene was pretty stupid, to be honest, but I'm prepared to excuse a similar stupidity here. Yes, I'm aware that's inconsistent. No, I don't care.
And the moon hatched, so is the little saga of hunter and ex done? 72 issues till now, so there will be 72 chillhangers, so yeah, it will hurt getting shocked every time :) So yeah, as always let's go and keep on reading.
I have always loved comics, and I can and I have. I love comics to bits, may the comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more. You should also read what you love, and I hope you will always love it. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics, Diamond Comics, or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on international and classic comics, Mangas, Mahwas, and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I just want to Keep on Reading.
Still convinced that "A Nighttime Smoke" is the Saga universe's version of Saga. Marko says, "It's not a love story at all, is it? It's about us, the war between Landfall and Wreath...What if the writer is suggesting that war will never end, that it's a self-perpetuating cycle of pointless brutality that can only be 'stopped' with more war?" That's definitely how Saga will end, right? Maybe?
This was written in like 2013, but this soooo reminds me of Israel and Palestine right now. Thinking one more act of violence will put it all to bed while also relying on its cyclical nature? "Intent" vs reality? Idk
Writer: Brian K. Vaughan Artist: Fiona Staples Publisher: Image Comics Release Date: February 2013 Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5)
Summary: The Will joins forces with Gwendolyn, Marko’s ex, in an uneasy alliance. Their mission to find Alana and Marko begins as the couple faces new tension in their hiding place.
Review: Tightly written and full of energy, this issue blends humor with rising tension. The dynamic between The Will and Gwendolyn is sharp and entertaining, while the main couple’s relationship remains the series’ emotional anchor.
Just wow: Marko's parents, and his ex girlfriend, or old girlfriend or whatever. I love how everyone looks, I think all characters are my favourite character (it just came to my mind creating then on the sims haha). I love the diversity of characters this comic has, and I hope to see more character development in the future.
