SOS!!
Think it would be fun to get stuck on a deserted island with the guy you sort of like? Well, try adding the girl who gets on your nerves big-time (and who's crushing on the same guy), the bossiest kid in school, your annoying little brother, and a bunch of other people. Oh, and have I mentioned that there's no way off this island, and no one knows where you are?
Still sound great? Didn't think so.
Now all I have to worry about is getting elected island leader while keeping my crush away from Little Miss Priss. Oh, and one other teeny-tiny little surviving.
Get me outta here!

It's funny because it's about when they are stuck on an island and the author's name is "Sandy Beech". I thought that was funny. I liked finding all the ways they thought of to survive on the island because their teacher went crazy.

Me: *Reads book for children*
Me: *Finds all of the characters to be childish*

In all seriousness, I probably would have enjoyed this as a kid. Dani is a character I could have related to. As an adult this book was kind of silly to me but, eh, it's a children's book so I can't fault it too much for being childish.

did not find this that interesting. Snobby girl stucker on a beach with some other classmates and her brother. It was suppose to be a quick school trip but then a teacher got sick and left the students with another teacher. Quite unrealistic.

While there were some funny parts, for the most part it was just a whiny girl up against the class snob. And it doesn't even have an ending!

I loved this one as a kid, and it was actually worth the reread! It’s a fun, interesting adventure for kids with lots of character development and simple lessons mixed in with the humour

Summary- Dani goes on a class trip over seas and they get stranded on an island.

Character Trait- Dani is strong, because she thought Brooke the eighth grader was bossy so she stood up for her self.

Most Important Event- When they find Mr. Truskey on the floor with vomit all over him, and figured out they were going the wrong way.

Recommendation- It wasn't that good but I would give it an okay.

Connection- I made a connection with this book when I was lost at a store when I was four and it was VERY scary.

This is a fun story aimed at high-school readers. The main character is a typical boy who has a crush on the typical school prom queen. The story is incredible. But that is the point. It is fun adventure with lots of adventurous fun. Don't take it too seriously and you will enjoy every moment of how this average teenage boy becomes a national hero.

I really liked this series. As some of you may have already read about me, I like books where kids are trapped somewhere and have to try to survive as they are trying to get help. I really thought this book was a good one. :)

I hated this whole Godforsaken series. Danny was so annoying and shallow. She didn't waste a moment to annoy me with her one track thoughts. Also, it makes no sense for her annoying little brother to be on the trip.

Goodreads Summer Reading Challenge, August: Stranded (Read a book that takes place on an island or in which the characters find themselves stranded)
I could not find any books at the library for this challenge, so I decided to revisit a book from my childhood.
