For a shy lad from Dublin, my year as a foreign exchange student at an American high school was strange and exciting.
What sticks out most in my mind is one Serenity. She was my first crush, and my only friend at that school. To everyone else in the class, she was a geeky drama student with shabby clothes. For me, Serenity was the strongest person I've ever met. So imagine my surprise when I receive an invitation to a class reunion across the pond. And I have it on good information that Serenity will be there. I was too shy to tell her how I felt when I was a teenager, but now, not even the Atlantic Ocean can hold me back.

As a rule, I don't keep up with anyone from high school. In fact, I'd prefer never to see any of those people again. My classmates bullied me for my off-brand clothes, tragic hair, and my dreams of making it in Hollywood one day. Yeah, they were all pretty much jerks -- all except for Cian. The foreign exchange student from Ireland was the sweetest. There's probably no chance he'll be there, but wouldn't that be fun if he was? Plus, as I gaze at the Golden Globes on my mantle, I feel tempted to be a tiny bit petty toward my former bullies. Am I actually going to shock everyone and attend? Yes...yes I am.

Charming story about Serenity and Cian. Cian was an exchange student from Ireland that lived with Serenity and her dad senior year. They were each other's first kiss but they lost touch after graduation. Now its their 10 year reunion and it brings back all the emotions they both bottled up. Finding each other again, they get a second chance at their first love. Delightful!

One of the best reunions in the series!!!
I knew I had to buy and read this book as soon as I read the synopsis. If there's anything I love more than an enemies to lovers trope, it's a friends to lovers trope. Cian and Serenity's love journey was one of the BEST friends to lovers reunion romances I've read from this series. Tbh, the book had me with the fact he was Irish. Some sexy men from that country!
One of the i loved about this book was the bond and friendship that never waivered during the 10 years since Cian and Serenity last saw each other. The chemistry between them definitely got taken up a notch. As well as Cian's protective nature over Serenity. While I loved and enjoyed the steamy foreplay and the girl you're gonna be sore tomorrow sexscapades. I have to say the conversations and reconnecting that took place between Cian and Serenity is what captured and kept me glued to my kindle. The way Serenity laughed just hearing his voice, and the way Cian was jealous and protective during the reunion. That's what solidified this story as one of the best books in this series. I haven't read many books by this author. But I will definitely check out her catalog. She's made quite a deep impression on me. I see you Abby Knox. Great book. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ most definitely.

Awe, I absolutely adored these two. Everything about these two I loved. They met in high school when he came over as a foreign exchange student. They quickly became besties, and were very attracted to each other with an awkward first kiss, before he went back to Ireland and she went onto Hollywood to become America’s sweetheart. Fast forward 10 years and these two reconnect to go to their high school class reunion together.
Adorable that’s my word for these two, and it fits. Everything about them, their storyline, their friendship, their attraction, their love for each other. She’s America’s sweetheart, and together they are America’s sweetheart couple. Once they reconnect again, they both knew they couldn’t separate again. Sweet epilogue and a hea.

Foreign Exchange by Abby Knox is part of the multi-author Back In The Day series. I loved this book...it is romantic, sexy and has two characters that you just want to get together from the start. Cian O'Connor is from Ireland and was an exchange student for his senior year of high school. He ended up going to Gold Hill, Ohio and staying with a single father who's daughter, Serenity, was also a senior. Serenity Jackson may have grown up in Gold Hill but she has made it to Hollywood and has won a Golden Globe along the way. When the ten year reunion comes around it gives these two an opportunity at a second chance, a do over kiss that will become a lot more.

Loved this reunion story! Serenity and Cian spent Sr. Year together when he was an exchange student from Ireland living with her. Each have thought of the other over the years and now they’ll meet again at their 15 year high school reunion. Serenity is no longer the mousy nerd that everyone teased and bullied and knowing that she and Cian will see each other again has given her a reason to attend. This was a wonderful second chance at love story. Serenity and Cian have an amazing connection that still burns even with all the years they’ve been apart. Cian is loving and protective and Serenity even with her star studded power is kind hearted and considerate to the people who bullied her growing up. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

There is a lot to love about this reunion romance. Cian and Serenity were fantastic characters. I loved that time hadn’t changed the ease they feel when together and that fame hadn’t changed her from the sweet girl he used to know. They had changed just enough to be ready to be together. He wanted to protect her and care for her. She wanted him by her side and grounding her daily. Their reunion was beautiful even if her former bullies hadn’t changed with time. There wasn’t a moment between Cian and Serenity that I didn’t love. They were perfection!

It’s a really sweet book of two people, who are absolutely right for each other, but living two different lives - in two countries far apart. Cian is from Ireland and Serenity is American, but they met, because Serenity’s family hosted him as an exchange student.
They get a chance to see each other again, but are they able to stay together - or break apart for good?
I would definitely recommend this to anyone, who likes a sweet romance with great main characters.
I can’t really recall if they had other sxpartners, but nothing like that is really described.

Cian was an exchange student at Serenity's high school and he fell in love with her but he never let her know. Now it's ten years later and time for their high school reunion and he's ready to tell her how he really feels about her. Serenity was bullied in high school and now is an award winning Hollywood actress who remembers Cian and their first kiss. I loved this second chance, friends to lovers, high school reunion romance. The writing is well done and the characters are believable. Foreign Exchange is book one and a great start to the multi-author Back in the Day series. I look forward to reading the rest of the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

This book is a fast read and will definitely have you hooked from the beginning until the end. Cian was from Ireland and came to the US for exchange student and is good friends with Serenity who was the girl who always got bullied

This is an excellent short story. Cian, an exchange student from Ireland fell in love with Serenity ten years ago. Now at their ten year reunion he’s hoping to finally get the girl. this book was a cute, fast paced, steamy, second chance story that was so fun to read. There was plenty of chemistry, the drama of a high school reunion and love rediscovered. This book has a great storyline that is believable and even though it's short it's not rushed.

I absolutely love the newest book in the Back in the Day series. Cian is a foreign exchange student, and when he gets with Serenity, the chemistry is instant, and the story is amazing. I live every book this author writes, and I always want more.
