Some exams try to define who you are....
The S.A.T. defines who you will be. It's not about what you know. It's not about learning. It's about how well you take the test. And if the Educational Testing Service isn't going to play fair, neither are these six high school seniors.

They have one common goal -- to steal the answers to the S.A.T. -- and six different reasons for doing it.

Leave it to David Levithan to turn a novelization of a crummy movie into a fairly moving book.

I enjoyed this story. When the kids were sneaking into the building..I was with them. When they felt the relief of getting out, I was with them. Can't say I felt the same stress to perform well on the test, though, as I've never taken the S.A.T.
