Haydn Middleton was born in Reading and studied History at Oxford, where he now lives. He has worked in advertising and publishing, lectured in British myth and legend, and written a dozen works of fiction and non-fiction.
Really well-written (surprisingly). Don't be intimidated by the length of the book. It's written like a story, not a list of dry facts. Both my 6 and 7 year olds enjoyed it. I'm excited to try others in this series like Alexander the Great.
