Two weddings? Two opportunities for conflict, drama and lasting memories. Beth Wheeler has waited her whole life for a Christmas wedding, but she never envisioned it taking place on Captiva Island. Even if it makes her mother happy, without snow, jingle bells and sleigh rides, Beth’s dreams of saying “I do” under a canopy of sugar plums and mistletoe are disappearing faster than a flying reindeer. Becca Powell’s lifelong vision of a beach wedding on Captiva Island faces a turbulent storm of uncertainties beyond her control. Despite her love and commitment to Christopher, Becca can’t ignore the mounting doubts on the wisdom of getting married, even if it is to the love of her life. A hurricane, a ruined wedding dress and an island filled with people who won’t be ignored, Captiva Ever After shows us that anything is possible with a bit of kindness, love, sacrifice, and perseverance. If you believe in the power of love, then this story is one you must read. Come back to Captiva Island and fall in love once again with a cast of characters who overcome everything life throws their way by holding onto each other.

3.5 stars Lots of drama in this one and not the good kind. Also Maggie's personality has changed a lot she seems very catty in the last couple of books. And anyone else wonder why the the half sister wasn't invited down for the wedding or really hasn't been mentioned since the Christmas book. Did she just fall off the face of the earth?
I'm really vested in this family. Kinda wish Maggie was my mom too. She has so much loyalty towards her family as chaotic as they can be. Sarah Harrison is a trip. What a hip gramdma.
I love the Captive series. The families are so close and devoted to each other. I would have been a wreck planning a double wedding— but it was beautiful. I cried like a baby when Becca was reading the letter from her mom. I’m excited to start #8.
I just finished the series and enjoyed the Captiva Island Books immensely. A lovely family. I enjoyed following all their heartaches, relationships, and family love.
This series could have ended books ago instead of the spoi!ed brat Maggie. Tired of the oh I love you, no I love you. This book drug in and on and on. Deleted the next book I can take anymore Amen
Took me a little longer to get into this one, but then suddenly it had me. I pretty much sobbed when Becca read her letter. I really enjoyed the second half of the book.
I really like this series, but I was determined that this would be my last book. Then the bombshell at the end of the book is making find out what will happen.
