Excuse me, but I DON'T EXPECT IT TO BE THIS CUTE???!!
Despite the rough artwork ((well, it is a delinquent themed story, the artwork need to be rough, rawr—!)), the plot itself is pure and innocent 😆
Their physical-relationship did goes from zero to ninety in an instant after their feelings became mutual ((—i mean, they barely even touching... where does the sudden sex-drive explosion comes from LMAO 🤣)), but well, it leaves the focus on their relationship, not the sex, so I'll take it!
This story expands into a series (three volumes for this story alone) and spin-off so better buckle up and go to the next ride~ (( —i'll update the reading-order list of this universe later! [wink] ))

Wunderbarer Rowdy-Manga, wo der oh so böse dreinblickende Schläger der Uke ist :D das fand ich besonders wunderbar. Die Zeichnungen sind noch etwas .... rough. Die Cover sind definitiv später entstanden, denn der Stil des Mangas selber ist noch recht einfach, aber trotzdem ganz nett. Schön würd ich ihn nicht bezeichnen.
Aber dafür sind die Charaktere ganz witzig und süß, vorallem der Schläger, der mit extra bösen Blicken seine Zuneigung ausdrückt und daher ständig den Schulsprecher anfunkelt. Ist süß - und es gibt auch schon in Band 1 genügend Schlägerein, das freut mich ebenfalls.

Shima ist einer von den Guten. Er hilft süßen kleinen Kätzchen, ist für seine Freunde da und im Schülerrat aktiv. Also warum schaut ihn der schulbekannte Schläger Ryuno jedes Mal, wenn sie sich begegnen an, als würde er ihn am liebsten auch Schmerzen zuzufügen ? Denn wenn es keinen offentsichtlichen Grund gibt, muss Shima von dem von selbst nachgehen.

Dies ist der erste Band der gleichnamigen Reihe "Dein böser Blick" von Moegi Yukue und erschien 2021 bei Egmont Manga. Es ist als Taschenbuch und e-book erhältlich und umfasst ca. 176 Seiten.
Meine Meinung:
Als der erste Band 2021 erschien, war ich sehr gespannt darauf und habe nicht nur diesen, sondern auf den zweiten Teil absolut geliebt. Leider kam dann bis 2024 kein weiterer mehr, was ich sehr schade fand. Deswegen bin ich nun umso glücklicher, dass gleich zwei neue Teile dieses Jahr erscheinen und das schreit nach einem re-read für mich. Zwar hat sich meine Meinung schon ein wenig verändert, aber dennoch habe ich auch dieses Mal den Auftakt echt gefeiert und geliebt. Das war einfach so mega verrückt und zugleich so süß, was ich einfach klasse fand.
Ich hatte definitv meinen Spaß mit der Geschichte und habe Shima und Ryuno als Paar absolut geliebt. Beide besaßen so eine tolle Chemie und ihre Auseinandersetzungen waren teils einfach nur lustig, erst recht, wenn der bekannte Schulschläger dann doch ein wenig von seiner sanften Seite zeigte bzw. zeigen musste und mal tiefer in sich blicken ließ. Vor allem die Szene mit den kleinen Kätzchen bei einem Mitglied des Schulrates war sehr süß und mir gefiel es, dass die Figuren eben auch andere Seiten besaßen. Aber es wurde auch absolut verrückt und ich konnte teils nicht mehr vor lachen, weil es so absurd, aber auch passend war.
Dieser Manga ist eventuell nichts für Zartbesaitete, weil es doch auch einige Gewaltszenen vorkommen, aber mich störten sie nicht. Die Gründe, wieso Ryuno ein Schläger war, waren auch nicht die edelsten, aber in meinen Augen wurde hier nichts verherrlicht. Teilweise war es so drüber, dass es beinahe wie eine Satire wirkte.
Der Zeichenstil war etwas grober und wirkte mitunter etwas skizzenhaft, was dafür sorgte, dass manchmal die Mimik nicht so gut rüberkam, wie es bestimmt gedacht war, auch wenn ich diesen bösen Blick absolut gefeiert habe. Dafür wirkten die Kampfszenen ausgefeilter und gerade das Grobe wirkte durchaus charmant.
Fazit:
Ein toller Auftakt, der mir immer noch so gut gefällt und mich definitiv prima unterhielt. Der Zeichenstil ist etwas gröber und nicht so ausgefeilt, wie ich ihn von anderen Mangas kenne, aber das störte mich nicht so sehr, weil ich viel Spaß mit dieser turbulenten und verrückten Story hatte, die mich so zum Lachen brachte. Die Charaktere sind zunächst etwas oberflächlich gehalten, aber es war interessant, auch ihre anderen Seiten zu entdecken. Ich freue mich auf Teil 2 und von mir gibt es:

“Dein Böser Blick” ist ein schöner Manga für zwischendurch. Man kann meinen, dass man einiges so erwartet hat, aber dennoch ist die Story sehr schön aufgebaut.
Ryonosuke ist an der Schule als Schläger mit seinen finsteren Blicken bekannt. Der Katzenliebhaber Shima merkt dies schnell am eigenen Leib. Doch hinter Ryonosukes Fassade, verbirgt sich eine erstaunlich weiche Seite, die Shima schon bald zu Gesicht bekommt.
Der Zeichenstil gefällt mir ganz gut, da die durchaus bösen Blicke von Ryonosuke sehr wandelbar sind, obwohl sie stets das gleiche zu signalisieren scheinen.
Auch das Bonuskapitel “Der Drache der Erinnerungen” greift nochmal ein ähnliches Thema auf, ist aber gleichzeitig ganz anders aufgebaut. —Ebenfalls sehr gelungen!

A fast-paced romance between two high scholars: one looks like a thug and the other is kinda silly and doesn’t take anything too seriously.
The “thug”, Ryuu, has an ever-present scowling face and looks like no one can approach him, when in reality he’s actually kind, cooks on a daily basis and has a soft spot for cats and cute things.
Shima and Ryuu start dating and though it is too fast paced for my liking, it was what I needed ‘cause Ryuu makes a lot of funny faces, just like a grumpy stray cat. I had a nice time reading their story and will continue with the series.

Okay it’s official, soft misunderstood delinquents x student council/“good” student pairings are my favorite manga trope. This was so freakin cute!! The “ugly” cat was an adorable addition and while their confessions were fast I loved their dynamic.
My only complaint was the bonus chapters; the first one (5) had a very tasteless r*pe joke that could’ve been something else and had the same delivery. The second (6) was a side story with bonus characters that was totally noncon and icky age gap — if I hadn’t known the next chapter was the original couple I would’ve dropped the rest. Thankfully it was just those two but I wish the creator hadn’t, ya know?

The art is not very stellar and rather clumsy, but the concept is fun and cute and and surprisingly wholesome and a little dumb in all the right ways.
The bonus chapter about two unrelated characters was just plain dumb, however, and I have to agree that it was at the very least dub-, if not non-con.

Shima es un estudiante de secundaria media, discreto y tranquilo,además está en el consejo estudiantil y tiene gustos bastante extraños. Él no entiende por qué Ryuunosuke, un estudiante de deportes, siempre le dedica una mirada penetrante cada vez que se cruzan. Shima no quiere llamar la atención del punk, pero la instintiva hostilidad de Ryuunosuke hacia él lo inquieta, y él quiere saber por qué el otro chico lo odia...
Es así como un dia el presidente del consejo lo invita a Shima a su casa y resulta que Ryu esta allí también, ocasión que aprovecha Shima para conocer mas Ryu y la razón por la que siempre se queda mirándolo con ganas de buscar pelea. Pero lo que descubre Shima es totalmente diferente.
Debo decir que esta pareja me encanta, sobre todo Ryu, que no es pelionero por gusto, en realidad es una persona muy dulce y dedicada, un gran amigo y hermano y leal como ningún otro.
Este manga me encantó.

Tsundere kelas akut!! lol. Suka melotot buat sembunyiin perasaannya, hahaha. Dan omg mukanya lucu bgt pas dia ga berhasil menata muka garang buat sembunyiin rasa malunya, lol. Aku sudah menduga dari awal kalo dia itu bakal jadi uke, walaupun sebenarnya dia berpotensi bgt jadi seme, kalo reversible wah lebih oke lagi, haha!
Nah kenapa bisa ketebak dia itu uke? itu karena uke biasanya ga pernah menganggap seme itu cute. Selalu seme yg begitu. Padahal realita sih ga gitu ya, mana mungkin ga reversible dan jadi uke terus seumur hidup, lol. :p Selain itu juga banyak petunjuk dari alasan kenapa si uke suka ama seme, krn dia juga pgn disayang-sayang dan dielus-elus kepalanya ama seme, seperti yang dilakukan si seme yang pecinta kucing jelek (busako dan busamen, ROFL). Melihat itu, si uke mau ga mau jadi berandai-andai betapa bahagianya kalau ada orang yang mau mencintai dirinya yang selalu keliatan sangar dan dijauhi orang.
Gaya makannya si uke yang kaya hamster lagi makan itu juga lucu dan imut bgt, hahaha. Mana abangnya si uke juga sama gaya makannya!! XDDD

I'd actually say this is a 4.5 or so star, the art wasn't spectacular, but the story stood out compared to a lot of other yaoi manga I have read.
I say it stood out because the premise of the main couples relationship wasn't rape. The secondary couple could be considered rape, since the the consent wasn't clear, but it wasn't blatant like most yaoi stories.
You can have a homosexual couple have a healthy relationship without it starting with rape.
And this was a prime example of that. The two main characters have emotional issues (not being able to express oneself in a comfortable manor) that are common and don't make them "freaks" and they find themselves falling for each other in a natural way, finding thier faults beautiful.
This was cute. I love it. And I'm going to keep reading it.

Cute little manga.
The first few chapters depict Shima (a rather happy-go-lucky lover of everything cute) and Ryuu-san, the typical hot-headed teenage delinquint.
Like in all the previous times the delinquint trope was dragged out, Ryuu turns out to actually be a big softie at heart, even though he has to beat up rivals daily. In the end it's Shima who decides to take all initiative and unsurprisingly, he's also topping.
This is a *very* sweet little story. There's no drama, the smut is really minimal and not very detailed (nor accurate, but who's complaining?) and there is loads and loads of blushing and hugging and kissing. Read this if you need your daily fix of cute.
Edit: Oh yeah, almost forgot. The artist decided to randomly throw in another couple who really fail to hit the spot. A forgettable chapter, really.

I honestly love the trope of the character with the grumpy appearance and the soft core, and this manga centers all around it. As far as I remember there isn't any sex in this manga, so it's perfect for those BL lovers that aren't quite interested in the steamy stuff.
Personally I loved this from beginning to end. The characters were sympathetic, their relationship was fluffy and cute (but with some tension in between), and the artwork worked really well with the plot. The only annoying thing for me was the big brother. But he wasn't too bad, and he didn't really diminish my love for this manga.
