I really liked that this story was SO different from all the others. I think we’ve finally moved past the great storm 😉

The FMC is super sweet and clearly needs help with her big ol’ dog that’s drags her everywhere AND her pushy mom who honestly just needs to let her daughter love her life.

I really liked the MMC. He was incredibly sweet and caring. He was insta head over heals for the FMC and I loved reading their relationship grow. I was also glad being with him helped the the FMC with her 2 most challenging problems in her life: her dog & mom 🤣

The steamy scenes were fantastic and I loved how he didn’t rush her.

The only thing I felt awkward reading was when her mom set her up for a matchmaking service & she started getting local matches. AWKWARD! Otherwise, LOVED everything about the story ❤️🥰❤️

The moment I saw this book was up, I had to have it. I love everything Tessa Klein writes, and I love it more if it's about mountain men.
Daisy and Reid have such a fun and steamy story that captivates you from the very beginning. Their meet cute is such a great one that when you finish chapter 1 you will most definitely want someone like Reid. Their connection is such a strong one from the get go. Reid is such a sexy and loving character that you fall in love with him will he's petting Oreo. Also, Oreo, the Newfie, is such a great puppy. If it weren't for Oreo they wouldn't have met.
If you love mountain men novellas with steamy and funny scenes, you will love this novella. I fell in love with their story and couldn't stop reading the book. I can't wait for more books by Tessa Klein.

This book is a part of the Mountain Men of Whispering Winds series and focuses on Reid and Daisy. Daisy is tired of her mothers constant attempts to marry her off so she moved to Whispering Winds and got a job as a kindergarten teacher. When she is out walking her dog and he takes off and steamrolls Reid, she immediately feels a connection to him and becomes incredibly flustered. When he asks her for her phone number, she accidentally gives him the wrong number but that doesn’t stop Reid from trying to find her. Reid knew as soon as he saw Daisy that she was the one for him and was determined to find his woman and win her over. I absolutely loved Reid and Daisy together. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

Wonderful small town insta-love story
Daisy moved across the country to get away from her mom’s constant interference. Mom keeps setting her up with men thinking Daisy needs to be married with kids but none of those guys have given Daisy the slightest spark. Brave Daisy moves herself to the small town of Whispering Winds where she begins teaching kindergarteners. Daisy also adopts a rambunctious puppy, Oreo from a shelter... And, when Oreo gets away from her…runs…and jumps on some guy…Daisy is mortified and intrigued. What a huge gorgeous guy he is. Reid is the local Veterinarian and one look at Daisy and he’s in love. This is a short “Finding and Falling in Love with Your One Story”. The wonderful small town with friendly residents makes this a great comfortable read. I want to move to Whispering Winds and find me a mountain man. Linda

The Vet of the Mountain is a short and steamy, OTT, instalove, age-gap, curvy girl gets her mountain man romance. Daisy is a curvy young kindergarten teacher who moved across the country to avoid her mother's matchmaking attempts. Reid is a hunky,older, possessive veterinarian and mountain man. When Daisy's dog, Oreo, attacks Reid one morning, its love at first site for both of them. Daisy and Reid grow close as she moves in with him when her cabin is crushed by a tree. They are just so sweet together and have amazing chemistry. I loved this couple and how over the top caring Reid was with her. We end with a wonderful HEA. This was a great short and spicy read!!.

Daisy is convinced she has no luck. Having moved to Whispering Winds hoping it would stop her mum's matchmaking, she now finds herself staying at the local Inn as a tree has landed on her rental. With a larger than life puppy who has taken off dragging her with him, she finds herself staring at a large mountain man. Reid is stunned when he sees Daisy and knows she is the one for him,despite her puppy having knocked him over and eaten his food. An amusing, witty read that had me laughing at Oreo's exploits, this swoon worthy story is engaging as it is funny. You can't fail to be hooked and won't be able to put it down.

This is the first book that I have read by Tessa and it won't be my last. This steamy book will bring a smile to your face as Reid who is a veterinarian in Whispering Winds falls head over heels in love with Daisy. He accidentally meets her when her dog Oreo runs into him. She accidentally gives him her wrong phone number, and when he calls her, it goes to a Chinese restaurant. Reid wants to find Daisy and when he does this is when the book becomes steamy and heartwarming. I would give this book a 5 plus star review and recommend reading it.

Such a cute meet cute. I loved this story. Reid is so protective and possessive of Daisy. Daisy is a kindergarten teacher who is new in town. She is trying to escape her matchmaking mother. After a tree falls on her rental she is forced to stay at the local Inn. Reid is the town’s veterinarian. They meet when he is plowed over by her new puppy Oreo. What’s not to love about this story—-it’s a short steamy instalove novella. We have cute dogs, kindergartners, hot possessive mountain men and a meddling mother. Great series.

I loved The Vet of the Mountain Book 5. Daisy is ok alone, she has her dog Oreo. Until she meets Reid and it’s love at first sight. But is it to fast? Reid knew the second he looked in Daisy’s eyes that she was it for him, forever. This was such a sweet storyline with Reid and Daisy being brought together because of her dog Oreo. They are so perfect together. He’s just such a protector and caretaker. I really hope Reid’s brother gets a story as well. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

Meant for Each Other . . .

Annoyed by her mother’s constant matchmaking, Daisy has no other choice than to move elsewhere. She headed to the mountains for her new start. She adopts a puppy for companionship, but it appears that judging by growth rate, Oreo may be a bear cub. A tree falling on her rental cabin does not bode well for a happy future. So it’s a good thing that her puppy knocks over the huge man to introduce Daisy and Reid… and she accidentally gives him the wrong phone number when he asks. Will he find her again? Will Fate bring them together? Or will she have to manage alone in the mountains with her burly pet?

Daisy starts her new job as a kindergarten teacher, she also adopts a puppy who is a lot stronger than she is. He drags her around town and she ends up meeting Reid, the local vet. There is an instant attraction to each other.
She gives him her wrong number, but luckily they meet again when he picks his nephew up from school. They arrange a date, but Daisy ends up late and dirty after her puppy takes her for a detour. Reid is determined to be with Daisy and to look after her, can he convince her to be with him forever.

I enjoyed reading this story and would recommend it.

Another perfect mountain man😍

Reid was just the right script to cure all the emptiness that Daisy felt. Constantly badgered by her mother to find a man, or she would find one for her. Having her bad luck day with a tree limb crashing through the roof of her rental, and having her huge puppy drag her through the town, and plowing right into Reid, was the beginning of her luck turning. Now if the wrong number accident can be rectified, all will fall into it's place. Reid takes one look at her, and knows that she's the one, and only. So much sweet passion, and romance between these two. I loved it😘

Enjoyable Read

A fun quick witty read with lots of romance, passion with a sexy mountain man vet and a teacher not forgetting her unexpected secret weapon Oreo.

As soon as Reid set eyes on her, he was obsessed!

Daisy wasn’t expecting to meet anyone and fall in love. Escaping her mother’s match making schemes, she moved to a new town and met Reid.

This is the first book from this series that I have read and I found it full of OTT, insta love, some wacky moments, funny moments and some touching moments. Daisy moved away to take control, of her life and things didn't quite go to plan, there were definitely forces at play in her life, thankfully that meant that Reid came into her life. Reid found he had to try and control his possessive and protective thoughts and feelings once he met her. It was nice to see them get their HEA.

Tessa Klein has certainly done it again! Daisy moved to Whispering Winds to get away from her mom's matchmaking only to have her rambunctious puppy take her place by literally running into the town veterinarian Reid Hartwell. Reid is instantly obsessed and determined to claim his soulmate. If you enjoy quick and steamy possessive romance you will love their story. And of course you can't help but fall for Oreo!.

Oh my gosh, these books just keep pulling me in...

I love this series and have been binge reading them. Reid and Daisy's love story is hot right from the moment they meet. He's a Vet and she has a cute but wild puppy that drags her all over the place. He's dragged her through town and all over the mountain. Reid ends up training him. I'm not going in depth on this book but I think on overload from their connection. :). It's really good story. Written by Cindy :)

I rate this 2.5 maybe I enjoyed it overall I liked the characters and the story it is insta lovey but I knew what I was getting into so I don’t mind it was a really quick read I’m enjoying this series they aren’t rated extremely highly simply because they are so short and they are insta live but other that that I’ve really liked them I was excited for this one because it was the first I saw of this series I’m extremely excited for this brothers because I love single dad romances

Mountain Men of Whispering Winds- Reid

I absolutely Love this series and this book.
Daisy a kindergarten teacher just moved to Whispering Winds with her puppy Oreo.
Oreo is a huge puppy, and Daisy meets Reid when Oreo knocks Reid down to steal his Cobbler. But, Daisy is the one that knocks him off his feet. Reid is the town Vetrinarian and Daisy is attracted to him too. Sweet Romance.

Ok, yeah, it may be a little too over the top but it was fun and tantalizing. I enjoyed it. There were only a few typos, not enough errors to distract from the mood. Slow burn

This is definitely a slow burn, instalove, love at first sight quick read. Love Reid with his OTT personality and his wanting to take care of Daisy. I loved Daisy’s sweet nature which makes her a perfect Kindergarten teacher. Don’t forget her doggie Oreo and how he’s just as important as they are to the story. Great quick read with dual POVs and two epilogues. 💜

Sweet romance

Never say never. The veterinarian of the small town of Whispering Winds doesn’t notice the women who are after him or doesn’t care. When he runs into Daisy, he instantly knows she is the one. He will do whatever it takes to win her heart.
