This is the ninth issue from the Batman: Gotham Adventures series. The story here picks up from the last issue and here the story is titled “A League of His Own.” Batman and Batgirl is now in snowy Nepal to track down a “Sensei” and the League of Assassins hidden temple headquarters. For some reason whether in the Christopher Nolan films or in the comics every time Batman is in Nepal its always so cool to me where there’s a blend of East meets West with regards to martial arts, the mysterious and honor all role into one. Batgirl is a great foil to show how brave and knowledgeable Batman is with going on this adventure. She’s aware that the threat of the fighters are way beyond her league. I love this story and the setting that it takes place in. I give this a five out of five for the setting, the story and also because it is from one of my favorite Batman world.

”A League of His Own” is also the original version of the story reprinted in the Batgirl: A League of Her Own collected. This was another 5 stars story however.

Burchett and Beatty doing excellent art work again and the Templeton story was awesome.

Wanna see Batgirl try to shoot someone?
Wanna see Batman having some coffee and camping out?

Great stuff!
