wow!
I honestly did not know if I was going to like the change in the book. I was so wrong. I was laughing out loud and reading parts to my 20 year old daughter. Once or twice I had to put the book down just because I didn't want the story to end soon. Glad We got this book and got to see our friends from the other stories.

What a wild ride! This incredible story is from Jas’ POV. Jas is my new book hero and girl crush. I absolutely adored this book.

Lucia Ashta was a new to me author whose work I tried on a whim earlier in the year and boy am I glad that I did.
This author knows how to make you laugh and cry, while keeping the suspense rolling and surprising you with story and character twists and turns when you least expect it.
As soon as I learned that Lucia Ashta was writing more books in the Magical Creature Academy world, specifically Jas’s story, I immediately preordered the book and am just about to preorder the following books.
Jas is a character that I’ve been intrigued by since her first appearance in the Magical Creature Academy series and this book was everything and more than what I thought it would be.
Another fantastic read and I’m already looking forward to reading the next book!

Jasmine Jolly ist eigentlich eine ziemlich beeindruckende Wandlerin – zumindest theoretisch. Praktisch läuft das Ganze allerdings etwas… anders. Während andere Gestaltwandler davon träumen, sich in majestätische Löwen oder furchteinflößende Wölfe zu verwandeln, endet Jasmine konsequent als… Stinktier. Genau. Schwarz-weiß, flauschig – und mit einem Ruf, der schneller Räume leert als jeder Feueralarm.
Besonders tragisch: Jasmine würde wirklich alles dafür geben, einmal als stolzer Löwe oder mysteriöser Wolf aufzutreten und endlich ein bisschen Respekt zu kassieren. Stattdessen sorgt sie eher dafür, dass Leute höflich rückwärts aus dem Raum verschwinden.
Doch dieses Semester wird plötzlich alles noch ein bisschen chaotischer. Jasmine entdeckt nämlich, dass sie offenbar über eine sehr spezielle Art von Magie verfügt: Ihre Wünsche haben die unangenehme Angewohnheit, tatsächlich wahr zu werden. Klingt erstmal großartig – bis man bedenkt, dass Jasmine oft Dinge sagt wie: „Ach, schlimmer kann es ja nicht werden!“
Spoiler: Doch. Kann es.
Und so stolpert Jasmine von einem magischen Missgeschick ins nächste. Wünsche gehen schief, Situationen eskalieren, und irgendwo mittendrin versucht ein leicht frustriertes Stinktier, seine Würde zu bewahren.
Das Ganze erleben wir diesmal direkt aus Jasmines Perspektive – was bedeutet, dass man nicht nur ihre Abenteuer, sondern auch ihre leicht panischen Gedanken miterlebt. Und weil ihre neu entdeckte Wunsch-Magie garantiert noch für jede Menge Chaos sorgt, ist klar: Die nächsten Bände werden alles – nur garantiert nicht langweilig.

OMG… I 💕 love ❤️ Jas, she is sassy, witty, open minded and doesn’t care what people think, except her friends ..but Jas gets herself in some kind of trouble, this time it’s not all out of her mouth…. She must of been sleeping in one of her classes when they said be careful of objects ….. Beware of amulets, especially those you discover in the forest of the fae, of all places.. You just never know what powers they hold. Jas wore a pendant left by her fae lover, and now, her life is spiraling out of control. Will she be able to get it all together???
And the best part, she finally gets her man…. Take that the trio… 2 down, one more to go..
I definitely recommend this book, series…. Love ❤️ love ❤️ love ❤️

Cheekbones galore, first she disappears unexpectedly and finds a baby pandacorn - acute little creature that admits her as it's own and refused to leave her side. Then she causes pandemonium when she accidentally appears at a secret meeting. She finds herself in danger from the bad guys. The pendant is draining her power and she cannot heals quickly.
Follow her story in this sequel.

If you like paranormals in a hidden academy setting, this is the book for you. It's filled with all the typical aspects you'd expect with some twists along the way. Strong character development and detailed world building. Featuring a strong, say-whatever, take nothing, take charge main female character.
This book picks up from book 3 but focuses on a different main character.

I absolutely love the sassy skunk shifter, Jas. Unbeknownst to her, she has taken possession of a magical pendant that starts wreaking havoc upon herself and others. This leads to some unfortunate and hilarious moments and some life threatening ones too. But her friends are there to help throughout it all. And maybe a possible boyfriend. The story moves along at a fast pace and keeps you guessing. Add in a pandacorn and what's not to like.

Lots of series
I love the cameos from other series, but then it makes me realise I have to read those books as well to get the full story. Then read everything all over again to make sure I haven't missed anything.
I am loving this series about Jas. There are lots and lots of characters. I think I would almost prefer less characters with more development about some of them. Such as Wren, Ky, broom and Adam is.

This 4th installment in the Magical Creatures Academy series focuses more on Rina's friend, Jasmine "Jas" Jolly. Jas is a skunk shifter. She can manage 1 of the best shifts of her entire class.
She is ready to go back & start her 4th term at the MCA. She's over her summer fling with a fae, Jaber, & even found a pendent. Jas is ready to claim Ky as hers, the only problem? Nothing ever goes as planned at MCA.

I was so happy to discover that the Magical Creature Academy continued after the first 3 books and that it featured the same great characters. This story is of the same high calibre. This series has some adult themes so that needs bearing in mind. A mix of fun characters, crazy creatures and some intense plots, this is a fantastic mix of fun, tension and almost a fairy tale feel.

The pendant that she wears takes her places or to people that she thinks of. It takes her to a field of sugar cane, where she rescues a baby pandacorn. It also takes her to the Voice shifters, who have Fury prisoner and she is severely injured. But it brings her friends to save her, but it's draining her life force and she's not healing like a shifter should.

SEAMLESS SERIES
This is a good story. Each of the characters have their own series each overlap. Each character from the first book is included in book 4. I can't wait to read more about Jas adventures.

Love Jas!!!
I love Jas and this book is awesome! She is a take no crap from anyone character and is tough as nails! I liked the first 3 books but I must admit that the main character Rina was missing this tough side. Plus, hello, a Pandacorn!!!

Another great instalment of the Magical Creatures Academy; it’s fantastic to be reading about Jas one of Rina’s friends. I rather enjoyed reading about the mishap adventures Jas finds herself in. It’s edge of the seat reading and difficult to put down

It took me a minute to get into Jas’ voice instead of Rina’s but it was cool to see another side of the MCA. Looking forward to starting the next one!
