Fantastic cover on this one!

The Riddler wakes up Charles Baxter in the middle of the night. Charles hired Nygma as a spokesperson from Wacko Toys. Which didn’t end well. Riddler needs a place to stay and is blackmailing Charles into providing it. Someplace nice.

I like their inferring that Riddler is also a computer wizard.

The next day a clue is left with Commissioner Gordon.

”I’ve given up crime to start giving you a hand at your detective game. My riddles will still lead you to criminals… they just won’t be me . Get it?”

Batman and Nightwing - with the help of the Riddler’s clue - catch some crooks red-handed.

The Riddler (he still wears his costume around the penthouse he’s set up in) loves when Batman solves his riddles and he doesn’t have to worry about getting beat up. He’s going to find a major crime this time!

Commissioner Gordon, Bullock, Batman and Nightwing confer on the next clue.

”I can’t get a warrant based on a clue from the Riddler….”

There’s an error where a character named John is called Jack by the Batman. His name is actually supposed to be Jack. Confusing but not fatal.

I just realized that this was a story in the Riddle Me This collection that I read. ”The Oldest One in the Book!” I gave it 5 stars then and honestly, it’s just as much fun to read again!

This really is kind of the ultimate Riddler story and would make a great movie!
