L. M. Smith is the author of the Jazz Nemesis series, a gritty, genre-bending saga where faith meets fallout and humor still finds room to breathe. Her work fuses dark psychology with mythic world-building, creating stories that are equal parts cinematic and uncomfortably human.

She lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, with her husband Charles—the most perfect man on earth—a sassy black cat named Pandora, and a pack of extremely wacky Great Danes named Kratos, Freya, Xena, and sometimes Roxy, one of her seventeen grandpuppies, who visits often enough to count as family. When she’s not writing, she’s gaming (PlayStation over Xbox, every time), overanalyzing dialogue like it’s an Olympic sport, or making elaborate plans to finish all the projects she started yesterday.

In addition to Jazz Nemesis, Smith is at work on a memoir and several nonfiction histories exploring monarchy, madness, and the mechanics of power.

L.M. Smith takes her experiences of her adolescent years and puts them into words.Each poem captivates you with a deep emotional connection. Many of these writings have been in the hearts and minds of adolescents everywhere. The author takes these and expresses her thoughts and emotions about life,relationships,love,spirituality and other experiences.I was captivated from the first page and read it all in one sitting.I was so intrigued by the flow of words in each poem that I couldn't bear to put it down until I had devoured all the words in the book.Young people can appreciate this work because it connects with them here and now.Adults can connect with it while remembering that time they experienced similar situations as a adolescent.I loved the sections that dealing with spiritual and romantic musings. Absolutely captivating and a must read.

This book is a collection of thoughts and poems from the author. It is very well written. You can tell the the author poured herself into each and every poem and thought. I loved the religous musings and the Western ones. They were my favorite. I truly enjoyed this. I give it a 5 star review
