I felt like because of how short it was, it wasn’t able to get me hooked or connected to the characters which is why I’m leaning towards 3 stars.

This book has such a good pace at the start and I was really excited! The magic / underworld system was unique, and the spice was definitely there!
I just wished this book was a bit longer! So much happened so quickly in the last 50 pages.. it just fell flat. I feel like it was a rush to the finish, and I would have liked more time in the underworld with the final decision and getting to know those characters with a bit more depth.
I did enjoy it overall. It was a quick read for sure.

O. M. G. Is it hot in here?? This book is fantastic! As always, the writing is phenomenal. I was hooked from page one until the very end. I was so engrossed in the story that I read it in one sitting. Yes I know it’s a short novella but still. No restroom breaks, no snacking, and no scrolling through the internet. My attention was completely fixated on finding out what was going to happen next.
The book cover is amazing as well. Little birdie says she made the cover herself. Not only does she write fantastic stories with great characters, but she creates her own covers!! Seriously, you need to read this book.

Zell and Kavari are literally perfect. I love these two so much. This is a quick read, granted it took me far longer than intended. If you have the time to sit with this book, you could probably read it cover to cover in 2 hours or less.
Kavari is a bartender. She's minding her business when Zell, the hottest man she's ever seen, comes in. She tries to get his attention, flirt and maybe have a night of fun, but he doesn't seem interested. She continues on and closes the bar later in the evening, not knowing that everything is about to change.
Zell is a demon who collects souls. A man made a deal with him a while ago and now he's ready to collect. Only the human didn't trade his own soul, he traded his daughter. Zell heads to Earth to find her.
This story unfolded perfectly. Being a novella, sometimes these can be very past paced and seem to rush. I didn't get that impression here. Very well written. I love these characters. They have so much personality I think I laughed most of the book from the banter back and forth with them. OH! And of course, she's got some spice. And it's HOT.
Go check it out. You won't be disappointed :)

**I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest opinion**
First please be sure to check the TW's the author kindly has provided.
This was a quick, slightly dark, spicy read. You could easily read this before Sinful Discipline but the couple from that book do make a few appearances.
I really liked that we got a great character arc for both MC's and that they both got to stay true to themselves. With a human/powerful demon relationship, you often see an imbalance of power causing the human to change but this wasn't the case. They made each other better in the end while holding onto their individuality.
Okay so yes, if you like spice you will find it in plenty within these pages and it's fantastic. Also lets get a round of applause for the after-care!
But let me also focus on the deeper ethical discussions this short novel bring up. Like what is justice? Is good and evil really that clear of a line? I love that this book toys with those lines.
Also love Kavari's spunk and attitude. She knows what she wants and she's gonna get it.

I got this as an ARC! I absolutely loved this book! I loved Kavari and Zell together! I loved how Kavari held her own. I also loved how Zell pushed Kavari but not to far, like he knew her limit. I loved Zell nickname for Kavari, which was “little honey bee.”

I really enjoyed this story!
Definitely check for content warnings before reading.
I absolutely loved Zell’s character, he never failed to get me hot and bothered 🥵. Shoutout to the balcony scene, iykyk 👀.
I also liked how we got more insight into the realms and how things worked when it came to laws and the collecting of souls.
I’m glad the author included Avaress and Astrid’s characters from the previous novella in this story, it’s so satisfying to follow previous main characters as secondary characters on a sequel.
The only thing I didn’t really care about was the nickname that Zell had for Kavari and how cheesy the epilogue got towards the end. Otherwise, this was a very entertaining story to read in one sitting and I would definitely read from this author in the future.

This story was EVERYTHING I needed. Honestly the length of it is perfect for me, I get nervous with smaller books/ novellas because I really like to connect with characters. However, I did not feel that loss of connection in this story. The plot line was adorable, and the characters also intrigued me. I am honestly amazed with the amount of relationship building that happens. Also the amount of spice. Somehow P.S Nail managed to get in so much in just over 100 pages. Honestly impressed. This book was adorable and the MMC is seriously hot. Bonus points for that ending too because I'm obsessed.

Finished this earlier today, I hate to write something bad but I believe brutal honesty can be helpful at times.
The book has so much potential but the main characters, are so so sooo bland and lacking, the side characters are more interesting and have better personalities than the main characters.
It felt extremely rushed the whole book, once you get to the ending the rest of it is better than the whole book…
I had hopes, it sounded good but I was severely disappointed.
(The spice is a solid 4 out of 10.)

Loved this storyline, I had ideas in my head of where it was going to end up and it happily surprised me which was a bonus. The characters were so easy to relate to, who would have thought I'd have been writing a book review saying I related well with a Demon 😈 lol.
As always Peggy knows how to write her spicy scenes and even for a shorter book they are not lacking 😀

Fmc Kavari a normal human girl struggling to get by on a bartender budget.
When Kavari's father breaks his contract with the underworld, he decides to offer up her soul in exchange for his own. Now zell owns her soul and commands her to help him get more contracts.
I ate up this story in one setting definitely recommend!!!

This was such a fun read with a unique storyline that was unexpected but thoroughly enjoyed. I was dubious that this was another Angel vs. Demon or good vs. evil story, but this author wrote a fresh take on finding love in the most unforseen circumstances.
Readers can expect lots of steamy action, eye-rolls, and laughs in this plot, and I look forward to reading more from this talented author!

This is a short, quick read. This story focuses on Zell who's a demon and a woman named Kavari. Zelle has a contract in which states he owns Kavari soul. In the beginning gazelle was gonna use some manipulation to get her to do what he want but turns out he really likes her and he falls for her. Blanca does a really good job with the narration. Lauren's Faye Is the male narrator. Surprisingly he has a really good voice.

Spice level was hitting it just right, I absolutely loved Kavari she was such a badass. Zell is now officially on the list of new book boyfriends!

A quick read but so fun! Not only does it have the spice we want, there is a very interesting plot!
Demons collecting souls, spice, a 19 foot wingspan, interesting “features”, main character with a past she’d rather forget, and an ending that I didn’t know I needed.
I am a little sad that it was so short, but it gave me all I needed.

I mean….a tall, dark haired, tattooed demon with a 19ft wingspan that wipes out her bills and..oh yeah…can snap his fingers and everything is clean? Where do I sign? I thoroughly enjoyed this read and I’m a little sad that it wasn’t a full length book. Zell, towards the end, totally gave me butterflies.

Fast paced and spicy Novella!! i really enjoyed the chemistry between the MC. The FMC aid a total badass and takes no shit until Zell comes barreling into her life with his demands.
I really want more of them and their antics in the future collecting souls together. Way to go PS Nail!! You knocked it out of the park!
