Boots and Bouquets #4

The Backup Bride Proposal

Rate this book
The next installment in the bestselling Boots and Bouquets series from New York Times bestselling author Jaci Burton

Bellini Weddings has agreed to allow a production company to film a movie at Red Moss Vineyards. It will be great PR for both the vineyard and the wine and wedding businesses. Mae Wallace, who works for the Bellini family, is thrilled with the possibility of new business. What she isn’t thrilled with is actor Kane August, who she finds crashing one of the weddings. He tells her it’s research for the movie, but she finds him overconfident and annoying.

Kane August is rarely surprised by anything—until he meets Mae Wallace. She’s sharp, just a bit on the snarky side, and the most refreshing woman he’s had the pleasure of meeting. She constantly challenges him, and he can’t remember having this much fun on a movie set. He takes every opportunity to spend time with her, peeling back layers until he gets to the heart of who this amazing person really is. And, unexpectedly, he realizes that he’s letting her in, too, something he hasn’t done with anyone before. However, they live very different lives and he’ll need to be careful around Mae, because she’s someone he could see a future with. But can she see the same thing?

When Kane takes her to his family’s ranch in Texas, Mae discovers a whole new side to him, learning about the heart and soul of a kind and gentle man. And as they grow closer, her guard goes up. Once burned, she has no intention of falling in love ever again, despite this very hot and sexy guy who’s trying his best to turn her world upside down and work his way through the steely wall she’s built. Kane is determined to show her he’s the one man she can trust with her heart. If only Mae will allow herself to fall.

One thing I love about Burton’s writing is she always gives us characters that are kind and loving. We don’t see anger or sniping. We meet characters full of life and energy. That’s positive and uplifting for the reader. After all, I am reading to escape!

The characters have wonderful connections to their friends and family and you just don’t get that negative vibe even with a bit of angst. Kane is awesome and not your typical Hollywood type and a lovely balance for Mae.

I love both of the main characters and together they created a hot and sexy romance. The Backup Bride Proposal is a fun, sweet read.

Burton brings stunning locations and surroundings, plus the plot lines are beautiful and always leave you feeling happy, with a smile on your face. This story is a perfect example of all of that.

One of the things that did disappoint me though was the ending. It felt rushed and I really missed a well-developed finish to the story after all we went through to get there.

But overall, The Backup Bride Proposal is a fresh romance with all the feels. Burton never disappoints with her cowboy western romance.

The Back Up Bride Proposal by Jackie Burton is the fourth book in The Boots And Bouquets romcom Siri‘s it is set in a vineyard in of all places Oklahoma and in this book it is May’s turn to fall pray to romance. It starts when Hollywood descends on the Vineyard Wanting to film of all things a romcom. When one of the costars ever can’t make her scheduled appearance they asked May to step in due to their striking resemblance. It doesn’t help matters that she’s already spent time with the male costar Cain August and finds him irritating gorgeous irresistible something she definitely wants to steer clear of, She was in love before and been hurt when her fiancé was found cheating so when she starts to grow more enamored of Kane it isn’t until she is past the point of no return that she resigned herself to the fact just maybe this could be something special but when his costar arrives with the rumors that she may be romantically involved with him it is more than May’s poor heart can take. I have never read a Jackie Burton book before I don’t believe because I usually only read close door romances something this book is definitely not. I don’t like books were girls use their privates as hotel rooms where anyone can stay the night as long as they’re gone by noon the next day and may definitely gave off those vibes. For the record I don’t like when guys do that either but having said that this book is in no way shape or form erotica and the sex scenes were more romantic than not but had it just been alluded to I would’ve liked that much better. This book was funny over-the-top interesting I thought May and Cain were awesome characters and I am not going to lie I want to definitely read the next book it looks so good! So maybe I will start reading open door romances… If that’s what they’re called LOL! This was a great book and one I definitely enjoyed as I said they do have a little detailed sex scene but it was apropos to the story and something a couple of pages will get you past and so worth doing because the author is such a great and talented writer. I love these people and I do believe I’m going to invest in the whole series. I want to thank Berkeley publishing for my free arc copy via NetGalley please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review.

This book had such strong potential for me in the beginning, but unfortunately fell flat in the end. I really liked Mae, I thought she had a good head on her shoulders and kept her relationship with Kane realistic, but there was something about the two of them together that didn't quite work for me. Maybe it was the mismatch between his lack of communication and reassurance, and her needing that validation. I don't think her previous relationship was explored enough to explain why Mae was the way she was, and I found Kane to be immature in his handling of his feelings. I just wasn't dying to read this or for them to get their happy ever after, but it wasn't badly written by any means - just not my favourite couple!

This is book 4 in the Boots and Bouquets series. This is another fun installment set at Red Moss Vineyards. The vineyard is the setting for many weddings but at the moment it is the home of a movie being filmed there. Mae typically helps on the wedding side of things but she somehow finds herself being a liaison for the movie, a stand in and falling for the star.
.
Kane may be the star of a film but he’s also a Texas ranch boy at heart. Mae isn’t looking for a relationship but it’s not long before Kane finds a way to her heart. This is an enjoyable series!

Huge thank you to @berkleypub and #NetGalley for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review

The Bellini family’s Red Moss Vineyard is an exclusive location where Hollywood has descended upon them and a romcom film is being produced. Mae Wallace has quickly been requested to act as stand-in for the lead role, as the actress has been delayed. Although put on the spot, Mae agrees. The male lead is being played by Kane August and sparks begin to fly immediately.

Along with the stress of filming at the winery, Kane and Mae bring some baggage into their quickly growing relationship. Whether they can go the distance remains to be seen. This is especially the case as the vineyard has hosted many weddings, with Mae playing a key role. Interestingly, she has never been able to picture herself as a bride.

The Backup Bride Proposal is a sweet romance in the Boots and Bouquet series. I have only read the second book in this series, The Engagement Arrangement, and I found that this fourth book does well as a standalone novel. However, I so enjoy Jaci Burton’s writing that I will make time to read the entire series. In fact, if the series continues, I definitely won’t miss any of the upcoming books.

Many thanks to Berkley and to NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.

This is the fourth book in the Boots and Bouquets series, set at the Bellini family’s Red Moss Vineyards, which includes a winery and a wedding planning business. The Bellini family agrees to host a movie production for publicity. Mae Wallace, close to the Bellini sisters, is appointed the liaison for the production company, despite her reservations about marriage due to a cheating ex-fiancé.

Mae confronts Kane August, mistaking him for a wedding crasher, but later learns he’s part of the movie crew. As Mae stands in for an actress, she and Kane grow closer, and their chemistry intensifies. Despite her initial distrust, Mae starts enjoying Kane’s company, and they develop strong feelings for each other.

The story features a heartwarming romance, a fantastic family dynamic, and enjoyable characters. Burton’s writing makes the romance fun, entertaining, and sexy, making the book a delightful read.

The Backup Bride Proposal by Jaci Burton is the 4th book in her wonderful Boots and Bouquets series. The story revolves around the Bellini family’s Red Moss Vineyards; which include their winery and their wedding planning business. The Bellini family has agreed to allow the production of a movie to film at the Vineyards; as they anticipate publicity for the vineyard, winery and wedding business

Mae Wallace, our heroine, is very close to the three sisters; with Erin, handling all of the business, Brenna and her father ran Red Moss Vineyards; and Honor was the wedding coordinator, assisted by Mae. She loved everything about the wedding planning business; which is always successful. Now that a movie production company is coming shortly, everyone thinks that Mae should be their official liaison to deal with the company. Mae enjoys her job, and now adding her to be in the front of the project, makes her feel like more of a key player. Though Mae loves the weddings, her view of marriage has made her not planning on ever getting married, as her ex-fiancé was a serial cheater.

During the wedding event, Mae who watches over everything, sees someone who doesn’t really belong and finds him to be a crasher. When she approaches him, he says he is here for research for the movie, and she forces him to leave. She discovers the following day, that Kane August, was indeed the crasher, and he is determined to charm her as he is enamored by her. Kane’s costar is delayed and Mae is roped into the production as a stand-in, since her back is similar to the actress.

Slowly, Mae finds herself having fun with Kane, as she realizes that she was wrong about her first meeting with him, since he was charming, gentle and fun to be with. Kane is determined to win her over, as he too begins to enjoy Mae’s company, wanting to spend as much time with her. In a short time, both Mae and Kane’s chemistry explodes, and they both have strong feelings for each other. Can Mae allow herself to trust and open her heart again?

What follows is a sweet wonderful romance, with a terrific couple, the fantastic Bellini family, who were such a great family. I loved the friendship between the three sisters and Mae. I also loved how close Kane was to all the married men in the family. The Backup Bride Proposal was an enjoyable and entertaining story, especially seeing everyone. Jaci Burton has created a wonderful group of characters that are so much fun and enjoyable; with wonderful couples and family. The Backup Bride Proposal is a wonderful romance that was fun, entertaining and sexy. It was so very well written by Jaci Burton. If you enjoy wonderful romances, then look no further than Jaci Burton.

Mae Wallace has worked at Bellini Weddings for the last few years as a wedding planner. However, things are about to get hectic. On top of the usual weddings going on at the winery, a movie is being filmed there! And, the Bellinis have asked Mae to be their liaison between them and the production company. Mae doesn’t like to be in the spotlight so is not excited for this new addition to her job, but will do anything for the family.

The movie is having delay after delay. The biggest setback being that their leading lady has been hung up with finishing up another movie. She’s going to be several weeks late. However, the male lead, Kane Austin, has noticed that Mae looks almost identical to Everly from behind. Mae quickly gets roped into being a stand-in for Everly so they can get some of the scenes, at least partially filmed.

After being hurt in the past, Mae is a catch-and-release kind of dater, not wanting anything serious. However, the more time her and Kane spend together that starts to change. The two start falling for each other. But will damaging info posted in the gossip sites bring it all crashing down?

I had wanted Burton to write this book. However, it didn’t live up to my expectations. It left me feeling a lot like I did with the first book, The Best Man Plan, which I didn’t like.

I found this book to be unrealistic. Mae found out her fiancé was cheating on her right before she was to marry him. It traumatized her so much that she gave up on love, on marriage. Yet, she makes a living organizing others’ weddings? That doesn’t make sense to me at all.

Mae and Kane seemed to have a lot of little blow ups that seemed to be almost nothing things blown out of proportion. And, then they were resolved really quick, too quick. It made me wonder why the issues were even brought up at all. And, it annoyed the crap out of me that Kane chose to keep his friend’s secret over clearing his name to the woman he supposedly loves, knowing it was going to destroy what they had.

I just couldn’t connect with this couple. I didn’t buy into their relationship, and the book seemed one-dimensional. I really hope if this series continues that the next book will be better.

This one made me both happy and sad. This is the last book in the Boots and Bouquets series. I will miss it. I really enjoyed The Backup Bride Proposal. I'm not always into books where the hero or heroine are either actors or musicians. I'll read them they just aren't my favorites. I'm happy to say that I really enjoyed this one.

I really enjoyed the idea of this storyline. The idea of being a stand in for an actor is something I'm not sure I could do it. I'd be a nervous wreck, but Mae handled it perfectly. I really enjoyed Mae. She's a bit sad of a person but she also loves her life too. I think she's like the rest of us. Sometimes all is well and other times we are reminded of the sad moment in our past.

Not only did I really like Mae I have to say as a hero Kane is a great one. He's very down to earth and relatable. I love how much he cared about his family. You often forget that he's there because he's an actor.

Both Mae and Kane work well together. You'll enjoy the times that they spend together. The little moments are what make this story. I liked when they went to spend the holiday with Kane's family. His family are great, and they were very nice to Mae and brought her into their family.

They had a few bumps in the road but were able to work them out nicely. The Backup Bride Proposal is a well-written story that I really enjoyed. It wrapped up the series very nicely.

4 Stars Hollywood romances aren't typically my favorite romance trope, but I loved The Backup Bride Proposal by Jaci Burton! For much of the story, I forgot that the MMC, Kane, was a Hollywood star because he never gave off that vibe.

Mae Wallace has mixed feelings about her workplace, Bellini Weddings and Red Moss Vineyards, being used as the set of an upcoming movie. On one hand, it'll be great for business. On the other hand, she isn't thrilled with actor Kane August, who she catches crashing a wedding on the property just before filming is set to start. Kane is rarely surprised by anyone, but he is by Mae. She's funny, witty, and constantly challenges him. He can't get enough--which is good since she'll be around him a lot more as she's set to be a stand in for his co-star whose arrival to set is delayed. The more time Kane and Mae spend together, both on set and off, the more they let each other in. Despite setting clear expectations to have a casual relationship, they grow closing and begin to fall. Having been burned before, Mae has no intention of falling in love. If only she could stop herself from loving Kane.

I was pleasantly surprised when this novel was not what I predicted it to be. The plot was entertaining and not predictable, despite my initial thoughts and I'm so glad I was wrong. There was also more angst than I expected, especially from Kane, but it doesn't overwhelm the love story between Kane and Mae. Instead of a Hollywood romance, this felt much more like a small town, cowboy romance, especially during the scenes when they visit Kane's family ranch. Any romance reader will find something to love about this book!

Thank you to Berkley Romance for the ARC!

Mae Wallace loves her life now working at Bellini Weddings and Red Moss Vineyards as one of the wedding planners. The Bellini family has made her feel as one on their own. When the Bellini's agree to let a production company to film a movie on their property, Mae looks at this a good thing until she meets the lead actor, Kane August, who is crashing one of their weddings.

When Kane meets and talks with Mae he is instantly smitten. He enjoys her sassiness and take no crap attitude and realizes that he wants to spend all of his free time with her. What starts out as a fun, flirty time quickly turns into something more. When Mae accompanies Kane to his grandfather's ranch in Texas over the Thanksgiving holiday, she starts to see a different side of him than what the public tends to see and she finds herself falling hard. After being blindsided before by her ex-fiance Issac, Mae is reluctant to go down that same path again.

When a certain situation comes to life, Mae goes running. It will take everything in Kane's power to get Mae back. In the end, these two will end up getting their happy ever.

I really enjoyed this fun, slightly steamy romance. Kane was a dreamy guy who was just looking for some direction in his life. Once he found Mae, he knew she was it! Mae was someone who had many skeletons in her closet and had a hard time trusting anyone. I loved the way Kane was able to finally get her to trust him. Overall this was an entertaining read and a great addition to the rest of the Bellini stories.

3.5 Stars!

The Backup Bride Proposal is the fourth book from Jaci Burton's Boots and Bouquets series. The prequel and the first three books are very entertaining, but are not necessary to read to enjoy this latest offering. This is a nicely-written love story, with hot sexy scenes and characters that I liked getting to know. If you are a fan of good friends, a movie-set backdrop, and a small town in the midwest, then pick up a copy of this book.

Not only is Red Moss Vineyards a premier wedding venue, it is also the filming location for actor Kane August's latest movie. Unfortunately, his leading lady is finishing up another project, so Mae Wallace is asked to stand in. Mae is a wedding planner at the vineyard. Over time, Kane and Mae fall into lust and love.

I liked this story, however, I found the pace to be a bit slow at times. Mae and Kane are a steamy couple, and Ms. Burton does a good job of creating heat and sexual tension. The secondary characters add a lot of personality to the plot, and I especially enjoyed the warm relationship Mae had with the Bellini sisters (the owners of the vineyard).

The Backup Bride Proposal
a fun and flirty rom-com where sparks fly at first sight!
by Jaci Burton

Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews

Genre: Romance, General fiction (Adult)

I'm a bit of an addict for the fame romance trope, I love the drama that brings. I was hoping this would be a perfect read for me, and I enjoyed it but....at times it dragged, and Kane could have been any good looking guy dropped into a romance, other than the filming parts there was little indication he was a leading actor. No bodyguards, screaming jealous fans etc.
I did like Kane but there wasn't anything really special about him for me. Mae had some great dialogues with him, and I could feel the attraction but she was ( IMO) too prone to over reaction, and poor Kane was left feeling What just happened?
Its a great setting, fun characters and interesting read but for me it lacked drama, lacked the magic spark that would make me think – Must read that again!

Stars: Three, a good book but for me not a great one.

I am rather thankful that the Boots and Bouquets series is back!

This western, contemporary romance brings hollywood to the Bellini’s family vineyard as it becomes the production location for a movie. Actor Kane August does not charm wedding planner Mae Wallace when she removes him from a wedding, but Kane is enamored by this sharp, snarky, and refreshing woman. When she is asked to stand in for the lead actress who is late to filming, Mae is irked to spend more time with the handsome, overconfident, annoyingly charming actor. As they spend more time together, Mae realizes Kane’s gentle demeanor and kind soul just might make her fall in love.

The Backup Bride Proposal feels like you are living in an early 2000s romcom.

This book can be read as a standalone, but if you love contemporary romance with a boisterous family and three dynamic sisters you will want to read from the beginning!

The Backup Bride Proposal is part of the Bellini family series. Mae works for the family in their wedding planning business. Red Moss Vineyards have become a setting for a movie. Mae is sent to be the family/business liaison to the production. What she doesn't count on is meeting the lead actor Kane. Kane likes Mae right away and enlists her help in exploring the town. As these two spend together they get really close and there might be some feelings involved. And what started out as easy becomes a little complicated. Kane and Mae were fine characters and together they were pleasant. It was interesting to see how everything plays out with the two as the story progresses. They were swell together and just seem to fit. I did enjoy seeing the Bellinis sisters living out their HEAs. I also liked how the family just makes Mae one of their own. Overall the story was a nice read that had some fine moments.

This story is book 4 in the series but could be read as a standalone. This story follows Mae who works for Bellini Weddings who’s about to have a whole cast to come use their property where she meets actor, Kane. This was a really cute story and I really enjoyed seeing a male actor and a small-town woman falling in love. This was a cute story and Burton did a wonderful job with brining it to life. I enjoyed the conflicts in this book as it kept me entertained but I do have to say that the pacing did begin to slow in the middle. I loved learning about the acting and the venue business throughout the story. This book is told from both Mae and Kane’s pov.

Mae cares about the Bellini and their business so finding out that a whole acting crew is coming makes her annoyed. I enjoyed her character and loved her coming out of her shell. She’s caring but is in introvert. Then we have Kane who is a total sweatheart and I also enjoyed his character. He was fun and also a caring person. There were many side characters in this book and I loved meeting the Bellini sisters. The romance is friends to lovers, small-town romance, and forced proximity with minor steamy scenes.

The ending was well done and very cute. I do have to say that the story did slow down a bit but I liked that minor twist in the story towards the end. Overall, the story was well written and I really enjoyed this book.

The last book in this series I liked the best. Mae Wallace who works for Bellini weddings is the point person to the production company filming on location. Kane August is the leading man and his leading woman is caught up finishing the movie she is on. Mae is the same size and hair color. Kane suggests Mae sub in to keep filming on schedule. Mae and Kane start up a friendship. Kane is a very easy going actor. His home is Texas and he likes Oklahoma just fine.

Their friendship develops into something more and Kane invites Mae to the family ranch for Thanksgiving. All goes well until Kane’s dad shows up and Kane learns things are not good between his parents. He is a sour puss for a bit but Mae gives him some breathing room.

When the actress opposite Kane finally shows up so do the rumors. Fortunately Kane realizes Mae is worth fighting for so the drama is short lived.

Kane August

Mae works for the Bellini’s as an Assistant Wedding Coordinator. The Bellini’s have agreed to have a movie filmed using the Winery as the setting. Mae gets volunteered to be the liaison between the movie production crew and the Bellini’s, introducing her to Kane. When Kane’s Co-Star gets delayed on the set of the movie she is working on, Kane points out to the Producer that Mae looks a lot like Everly from the back, so Mae gets volunteered to do the scenes with Kane so they can keep production moving along. As Mae and Kane spend more time together they find the instant chemistry between them is strong. This is a very good, fast reading book. I liked both Kane and Mae, both are good loyal friends and hard workers. I would definitely read more books by this author.

Another great read in the Boots & Bouquets series. This time we have Mae Wallace, who works for Bellini Weddings, and Kane Austin, an actor who is a star in the movie being filmed at the vineyard. Mae is tapped to be a stand in for Everly , the actress who is delayed finishing up another project. Mae is only filmed from the back and the film crew will redo the scenes once Everly shows up. Mae & Kane begin a relationship both realizing it will end when the filming is finished, but will it?

I enjoyed that the characters from the other books in this series had a part in this book as well. I think this one could be read as a stand alone if you haven't read the other books in the series although, if you haven't read them you should asap. Pick this book up and enjoy!

The Backup Bride Proposal by Jaci Burton, book four in the Boots and Bouquets series, is a wonderful addition to this series; bringing Hollywood to the Bellini’s Red Moss Vineyards as it becomes the production location for a movie. I enjoyed this book but not as much as the others in the series. It kept me entertained and had a few laugh out loud moments. I was also happy to see Mae get her happily ever after after everything that happened in her past. She never saw herself with a successful movie star.

Kane is a successful actor currently shooting a movie on the Bellinis property and soon is captivated by the wedding coordinator. They can't seem to avoid the sparks that fly between them and soon they arw together on set and off.

However some things might come to an end if the paparazzi get those incriminating shots of Kane kissing his costar. But is is really Kane or someone else? Will the tabloid and the press and the fame be too much for this couple to overcome.

The Backup Bride Proposal is the the 4th book in the Boots and Bouqets series. This is the story of Mae and Kane. Mae works as a wedding planner at Red Moss Vineyards for the Bellini sisters.
When Mae first meets Kane skulking round a wedding she isnt impressed and doesn't recognise him as an actor. From the moment Kane meets Mae he is intrigued by her, she is nothing like the women he usually meets. When it looks like production will have to come to a standstill as the leading lady is delayed. Mae is asked to step in as a backup leading lady, to be shot from behind. Mae reluctantly agrees. As our hero and heroine spend time together both on and off set. The chemistry between them is obvious. Both have some past issues they need to work through before they find their happily ever after. I loved Kane and Mae both were characters I was rooting for. The Backup Bride Proposal is a fun romantic read with some steam. Highly recommended for fans of contemporary romance.

Mae works at a vineyard with weddings. Kane is a big movie star. She does not recognize him at first and his interest is peeked. The faith throws them together as he is a filming a movie there and she has to help out.

She is not interested in longterm...but he is darn handsome. While he likes the fact that she likes who he is and not the movie star.

Sparks fly at once, but it still takes time. I have not read the previous book, but they are there in the background and it seems like their books could be good too.

Sweet, some spice and some drama before they find their HEA

Good narration. A voice that could play with all emotions and voices. It felt right at home

A good ending to a good series. Mae is sworn off men. Not that she doesn't date & have fun. Just not getting serious with anyone, until she meets Kane. There is a movie being made at the Bellini Vineyards and Kane is one of the leading men. Mae gets roped into helping with the movie because the leading lady is tied up in another project and the movie at the vineyard can't wait - so Mae is the stand in. Her and Kane hit it off until the press and paparazzi get involved.

A good story, with of course, a good ending.

Nice read!

Mae and Kane

Mae is responsible to make sure the vineyard is set-up and ready for weddings. When a film crew comes on sight, Mae knows the importance of ensuring the actors and film crew are taken care of. Enter a n actor who becomes her friend and then more. Trust issues are evident but Kane has his own issues. This is a sweet story with strong and knowing female characters. Loved Kane!

The Backup Bride Proposal is the latest release in the Boots and Bouquets series by Jaci Burton. After being cheated on by her fiancé at the time Mae decided to just have fun no commitments, but everything changes when she meets Kane. Will she let fear tear them apart? Read The Backup Bride Proposal to find out.
I loved reading Mae and Kane’s story and was rooting for them from the very beginning. I can’t wait to read more.

Jaci Burton never disappoints. This couple was fun entertaining they had loads of chemistry, and there was not big heavy drama. It was a fun read, and I really enjoyed how each character had their own thing that they were doing, and it wasn’t revolved around the other person. She also wrote the behind-the-scenes of filming pretty accurately. Give or take some of the costuming descriptions but otherwise she nailed it.

This was the best book of this series which actually isn't saying much because I really didn't care for the other 3 books. Unfortunately, I had bought the whole series before I finally got around to reading any of them. At least the writing in this book didn't seem amateurish. I actually own several of her earlier books and have liked them. I'm just disappointed in the last several books that she's written. I will no longer collect her books

The story you didn’t know you were waiting for.

Well written and heart felt characters that feel like they could be your friends. Relatable and has your rooting for a HEA. And very believable and satisfying relationships. Plenty of sizzle but tasteful. You will love the book but leave wanting to know more about all of them and their next chapters. Here’s hoping the author might write more books about them.

This one was cute. It was interesting in that both Mae and Kane didn't want anything permanent or "real", just casual. Things didn't stay that way for them long and once the feelings were involved there were misunderstandings. Some of them came from Kane's job, others from not talking, those were the most frustrating ones. In the end they worked things out and we got our HEA.
