A bunch of talented new guilds are ready to give Maple Tree a run for their money. But Maple’s not too worried. The thought of chances for more PvP has her fired up! Between scouting out other guilds for info on their rivals and looking for new skills to make themselves even deadlier, Maple Tree has plenty of work to do as the Ninth Event kicks off!
The ninth event is action packed facing all kinds of flying sea-based monsters together with the whole player base. And while doing so, the Twins work together with Maple to get stronger and Sally tries to get over her fear of horror by playing an actual horror game. Much like previous volumes, it is an entertaining light-hearted read with fun characters and enjoyable events even if the fear of undead of Sally is a bit too exaggerated for my taste. Definitely one of the better volumes of the series.
Every time you turn around someone in Maple Tree is pulling a Maple. It's nice getting new characters and new guilds to compete with the Big 3, but it would be nice if Maple Tree got a new member or two. They can still be a small guild even with a few new members.
