This was truly painful. PAINFUL. Like, not good.
Given the book was riddled with spelling and grammatical errors, inconsistencies in the nearly non-existent plot, and blatant typos I’m not sure how this novel exists.

The ⭐️ rating is unexplainable. Baffling. Confounding. Inexcusable. Shameful.

The only reason I finished this book was to be able to write this review with total honesty and accuracy.

If you were contemplating this read, or any other in what I gather is a series….don’t.

That is all.

Maybe while the previous book from the author got me at the right time, unfortunately not this one.

The base story and the world built is still good. Fae, shadow walker, going for a challange to save the world. But while I got Thorne’s rudeness especially what happend to his family I had a difficult time to align with the heroine. And honeslty she got the same conclusion before her ascention but it took a loooot of time. When it seemed she is out of her Icequeen b!tchiness she got back to it soon enough that you cannot say she is much likable.

I however enjoyed her description of look. (Which she hated) and some banter that was going around.

Steam is also not sparse. Its more of a tension at the beggining its get sooooo hot at the end.

Again I still need time to time a hot book and this was indeed one.

Im sure to come back to this author and see if I find any further characters I may like. (Seems Jackey at Caprice might be a good next ;))

Fae, Shadow Walker are trying to save the world.
I love the cover and the blurb that went with the book.
The spice level escalates as the book goes on.
