Mulberry Metaphors is a special collection of poems by three amazing writers: Akhila, Akshita, and Ravina. They've come together to take you on a journey through their words, touching your heart, mind and soul. Each poem is like a little story, and as you read, you'll find pieces of themselves and maybe even a bit of you. It's a book that speaks to your soul, and you can explore their feelings and your own as you read along.

Reading this book was an emotional journey that touched my heart deeply. The three writers, Akhila, Akshita, and Ravina, poured their unique styles and personal stories onto the pages. It was hard to stop reading because their words carried so much depth and meaning. Each poem made me reflect on my own life and sometimes brought tears to my eyes or made me smile with joy. In a world that often rushes by, this book allowed me to slow down and immerse myself in a sea of emotions and dreams.

Even after finishing the book, their words continued to resonate within me, leaving a lasting impact. This book is like a friend that I'd suggest to anyone, whether they're just getting into poetry or have been reading it for a while. This book was my faithful companion throughout the week. This book holds a unique charm for every reader, and I'm confident it will linger in your thoughts even after you've turned the final page.

✨I WISH I COULD:

I feel like flying
high In the sky
like eagles
But when I see Myself, I’m caged!
I feel like swimming Preferably like a fish
But when I see Myself, I’m caged!
Now, I feel like running out of time
For being more and more worldly
And obsessed,
which I don’t like.
This could be no more
As I would like to move on For a while,
despite the lie Until I set up the time to fly.

One of my favorites ❤️

Overall, it's a captivating and contemplative read. I assure you, it will captivate your heart. Give it an opportunity.

This book consists of poems penned down by three authors who have poured their hearts out into writing some very deep poems.

There are three sections in the book, each section relating to poems written by each author. The poems cover varied topics of one's interest ranging from love, loss, hope, mental health, self care, life and beyond.

The poems are not only eloquent and impressive, they are equally heart touching and some parts even urging you to pause and reflect.

I particularly liked the poems where the authors have driven the entire life's reference through various metaphors. How the pain and betrayal is demonstrated through talking about hope and happiness. How each positive emotion is satirically linked to a negative one and how deep an impact it leaves on the reader.

Recommended for those who are looking some dark and deep poetry.

Yet another poetry book this year and I liked reading it. I am still an amateur reader when it comes to poetry. I don't try to find a lot of hidden meanings but prefer to go with the flow of the words and see if I am able to relate to it.

Mulberry Metaphors is rather an interesting collection of poetry penned down by Akhila, Akshita and Ravina. They have poured down  their hearts and emotions into it making them very relatable. The poems made me look at my surroundings and also made me introspect.

I loved how the expressions were used in the poems. The repetition of a few phrases in the poems emphasized that particular emotion and added to the beauty. Some poems were hard-hitting as well.

I loved this collection of poems and I certainly recommend reading it.

Mulberry Metaphors is a collection of poems written by Akshita Sharma, Ravina Chandak and Akhila Devarakonda. The poems tell us the tale of desires, love, manifestations, pain and other inner feelings. The vulnerable nature of human behaviour is explored in the poems.

The poems are relatable, the lines are at times like a sword, sometimes like a calming feather touch.
I loved Ms.Ravina's poem 'Yours' the most. The poem suggests us to be on our side to find magic within us. The unnecessary decisions to abide by what others say can be avoided, it is not necessary to do something for other's sake. The use of memories in each poem is so good, so that a reassurance is provided to the reader as well. The poem 'With You 'is an intense depiction of falling in love. The beauty of these lines still resonates in my heart:
"You are the prayer of my each
breathe we glow in the waves of
love.
And we shine in each shade of
life sometimes, the us makes things
prettier
Which melts me into your arms
the butterflies flutter into my heart "

Each poem discusses a different perspective on life. The unpredictability of life, the sweet and bitter part, that of hope and regret different shades are being discussed. Thus it becomes a recommedable read for poetry lovers.

Book: Mulberry Metaphors
Authors: Akshitha sharma, Ravina Chandhak & Akhila Devarakonda

This is a poetry book written by three beautiful writers. Each has their own splendid way of expressions. The masterpieces of Akshitha Sharma. The beautiful Love genre of Ravina Chandhak was to die for. I am flown by Akhila Devarakonda's writing. My Favourite genre is Love and maybe that's why it has a little bit of an extra piece of my heart. But trust me if you are new to poetry like me this is one such book you can start with. This book is an amazing blend of love, self care, grief, suffering, self dependence and many more emotional realms of life.
My favs from the authors:

Favourite lines by Akshitha sharma

My vulnerabilities draw me on glass, Glass that shatters the first chance it gets. Oh! And the silence after is deafening

Little things. Little warmth. Little intimacy. Just little things. Like freshly squeezed orange juice in a claypot, Like pearls strung subtly over your collarbones and around your neck, Like the wind that whispers, Like the sunbeams that scatter on your face in winter.

Favourite poems-
My tears do not have water in them
Ain't nobody throwing eggs at me
Little things

Favourite lines by Ravina Chandhak

You can’t be on each side of skies don’t go for the sake of others Go on the side of yours and you will find your own magic.

The skies holding the darkness of nights the stars reflecting the hopes of dreamers

we are born with legitimate sparkle of beauty, and I feel the magic of life in each existence

Well of dreams and rope of love hands of soul and grasp of eternity and we perched the journey of breath.

Favourite poems-

Torn bag
Promises of eternity
Shapes of trust

Favourite lines by Akhila Devarakonda

The sharpest wood pricked my sole The deepest pain is inside my soul The frail boulevards ragged my wound And as a red rose I struggled and bloomed

I hurled my way back in the air With my broken wings, I fly high My only testimony for which I flair My bruised feathers did wave a HI

The troubles, hurdles and squabbles Realise that no one is stronger than a HUMAN BEING.

Favourite poems-

Sometimes is always in my path
Fare facets
Preaches of life
Can you be?

"Love is past tense,
and it has a penchant
for regrets. When the
moon whispers your name, i ache
for you see,
Love is a phrase, quaint:
the sinner and (for some) the saint."

Mulberry Metaphors is a soulful collection of poetry exploring the complex nature of human emotions. A collection of poems by three different poet's, the collection is a delightful read, written in varying styles and with unique viewpoints.

What I loved about the book is the different perspectives each poet has brought into their poems. Even a common emotion like love has unique interpretations by each one, offering different viewpoints to life. The poems blend snippets of life with raw emotions adding an emotional depth to them.

“And the hypocrisy- How does one expect to breathe thorns and blow out lilies?”

Authors - Akshita Sharma , Ravina Chandak and Akhila Devarakonda
Review - Mulberry Metaphors is a captivating amalgamation of poems authored by three exceedingly talented writers.
It’s a short and cheery read of about 150 pages and the language of the book is moderate.
The cover is quite easy on the eye and one of my favourite things are the short and whimsical titles to each and every poem.
Favourite poems - Yellow Daffodils, Pain and Palindromes , It’ll rain paper thin hearts, Stillness of reflections and Savage distress.
The poets will take you to a see-saw of emotions with them ; all of different human emotions woven into a perfect mosaic with some impeccable writing skills that will linger your thoughts for a longtime.
The poems revolve around topics like - Love, Loss, Hope, Grief, self love and so forth , making it more of an emotionally contemplative read. Certain poems are so fine that you would want to turn back pages and cherish them all over again .
As we all know- ‘Life isn’t always black and white; it’s all part of life- highs, lows and middles.’
Therefore during our lifetime we go through a series of emotions intermingled together - from ‘peaks of happiness’ to ‘valleys of sorrow’ - each of these emotion is artly penned down in these poems , which makes it easier for the readers to resonate with this book on a deeper level .
The book is recommended to people looking to read some heartfelt and enigmatic poetry . If you are ‘poetry-person’ this book will surely be a worthy addition to your bookshelf.
Happy Reading!💕

"Life runs on the whims of those who make us wait. Isn't that reason enough to defend my silence? Isn’t that reason enough to run a blade of grass across the sleeve of my heart, Or to hem my heart on my sleeve? Isn't that reason enough to fancy myself a wallflower? Isn't that reason enough to prefer stillness to progress?"

Mulberry Metaphors is a collection of splendid poems written by Akshita Sharma, Ravina Chandak & Akhila Devarakonda. The book is divided in three part, there three poet poured their heart into it so truly and so beautifully. People will find themselves in every words. As there is pain in the poems, there is also a path out of pain into light. Each poem is written with deep emotions. First they expressed their pain, then showed a way of healing.

We know how to get out of pain, how to heal ourselves, but we never apply it in our life. That's how people are. We like to hold the pain. And here the poets have analyzed the healing process in such a way that after reading the book many changes can be noticed in the reader.

Each poem make me feel sad, yet happy, feel broken & scared but courage to heal my life.

There's a Japanese proverb, "Fall seven times, stand up eight." That's how I felt while reading these poems. The book is full of human emotions.

I recommend this book to everyone, even if you are not a poetry lover. Just give it a try, read, words will help you to sparkle your life.

🍁LITTLE THINGS🍁
"You may find something to love in the most harrowing of liaisons,
In the direst shams of benevolence.
Little things. Little warmth. Little intimacy.
Just little things.
Like freshly squeezed orange juice in a claypot, Like pearls strung subtly over your collarbones and around your neck,
Like the wind that whispers,
Like the sunbeams that scatter on your face in winter.
Big affections, on the other hand, tear you, wreck you little by little,
and you fall for the lit- tle, in vain.
You mistake hope for love,
when you clearly have neither."

This book is like a treasure chest filled with emotions, and it's a treasure we all helped create. It tries to show us how amazing and ordinary life can be. The author looks really closely at feelings that are hard to describe and don't last long, and that makes the poems in the book special.

The best part is that these poems are about feelings we all know. They make you feel like you're not alone, like you're part of something big. Each poem tells a story about lots of different feelings, and that's what ties the whole book together.

When I read this book, it felt like I was going on a journey through all these different emotions. It made me think about my own feelings and how unique they are. This book celebrates the way emotions make us who we are.

Moreover, the writing in this book is like magic. The words the poet uses paint pictures in your mind, and you can almost feel the emotions in your heart. It's clear that a lot of care and thought went into each poem. The writing makes the book even more special and memorable. This is a book that not only touches your emotions but also reminds you of the power of words.

Poet 1 - Akshita Sharma's poetries had an element of self loathing, of the poet indulging heavily on self reflection but only through the lens of mistakes made, despair and shortcomings. There are hints of optimism when she talks of bright sun, daffodils but these are very fleeting moments.

Poet 2 - Ravina Chandak's poetries were much more hopeful, innocent and have elements of observational poetry, including the perspective on everyday things. Nocturnal souls was my favorite poetry from this entire collection.
Descriptive poetry with observations of time and state of mundane things during the night and how they affect the people who are awake at the late hours of the night moving into dawn.

Poet 3 - Akhila Devarakonda's poems depicted struggled emotions of feeling trapped, of a healing journey, of regrets and anger. But also bravery and hope. It was interesting how the poems had eccentric titles like The silence found me / Did you send any darkness / No, you can't say no.

Overall, all the poets are not poets by profession and are passionate about words, which comes across evidently through this collection

Nice Read !!

The sonnets let us know the story of wants, love, indications, torment and other internal sentiments. The weak idea of human way of behaving is investigated in the sonnets. The sonnets are interesting, the lines are on occasions such as a blade, some of the time like a quieting feather contact.

Every sonnet resembles a little story, and as you read, you'll track down bits of themselves and perhaps a touch of you. A book addresses your spirit, and you can investigate their sentiments and your own as you read along. The three Authors, Akhila, Akshita, and Ravina, poured their novel styles and individual stories onto the pages. It was difficult to quit perusing in light of the fact that their words conveyed such a lot of profundity and importance. Every sonnet caused me to ponder my own life and here and there carried tears to my eyes or made me grin with bliss.

The book cover was wonderful and quieting. The title has insightful significance. The language used was essential and clear. The cover page is perfect.

The title, "Mulberry," addressing nature and advancement recorded as a hard copy, reasonably fits the book as it comprehensively examines the possibility of personal development. The creating makes the book considerably more uncommon and critical. This is a book that contacts your sentiments as well as assists you with recalling the power of words.

"Mulberry Metaphors" is a collection of raw and honest poems that are like little punches to the gut.

I loved the poem "To Be Or Not To Be?" by Akshita Sharma. It talks about the struggle to find meaning in life and and it really resonated with me. I could really feel the poet's confusion and pain through the pages. But the poet also found beauty in chaos and I find that really inspiring.

Another poem that I resonated with was "Did You Say Anything? Oh! Please Don't" by Akhila Devarakonda. It delves into self reflection and internal struggles. I was drawn into the poet's introspection, it felt like we had a connection. 🪐

The title of the anthology, "Mulberry Metaphors," aptly reflects the power of poetry to transform emotions into beautiful expressions. Just as a mulberry's sweetness can be transformed into a variety of sweets, so can our emotions be transformed into works of art. 🫶🏻

Each poem in this anthology is absolutely beautiful. Overall, "Mulberry Metaphors" is an amazing collection of poems. A must read for poetry enthusiasts.

"There is a town called L O V E. There is probably a bit of Earth that's mine. There is the sweetest monsoon at my door. Can you feel it?
I have left the door ajar, Just in case."

Mulberry Metaphors is a melting pot of emotions, where each poem has something different to express. From pain, love, to freedom and vulnerabilities, this one offers a collection of poems, where all three poets bring a unique perspective to the table.

It is a contemplative read and will require sometime to completely understand the nuances behind each piece and absorb the underlying messages. And that's the beauty of poetry! Many are thought provoking and beautifully penned.

'Mulberry Metaphors' is a resonating collection of poetries, voicing the poets - Akhila, Akshita, and Ravina. The collection symbolises the 'not-so-ordinary' life and human existence with a compelling compilation of three categories, each composed of fine poems.
All the writing pieces seamlessly make the use of wise and appealing metaphors to bring the innumerable aspects of human-life into an insightful exploration.
The poets have been thoughtful enough with their rhymes and word-play to spellbound the poetry-lovers. At times, the delicate themes of this book were moving enough to let the readers grasp for air.

My personal takeaway through this book is deep yet profound. I was entirely captivated by this collection which is an added bonus to literature and poetry. In general, the compilation is slightly tilted to the beautiful art of poetry but more towards life and it's roller-coaster attempts.
Readers can find themselves dwelling into the vibrant emotions of the poets.

This book is co-authored by three amazing female authors. The book is basically a collection of poems contributed by each author.💗💥
The way each poem covers a different aspect and emotion of life is just amazing. I was shook. 🤯 The poems were beautiful to read💗the title of each open just felt, RIGHT 🎇 mostly poems are tough to understand and the meaning behind them is totally lost for the readers but this book wasn't like that, I understood and connected with the poems at a different level and had a great time reading them🥰
This was a short yet beautiful read. ✨
I def can't choose a fav line/fav poem because there wasn't a single point where I wished I wasn't reading this🥺I enjoyed throughout.
For me, it's just that poems demand a lot of attention as there's not much context to look after to understand few lines and stuff.☺
Very few times I felt that here, otherwise it was all good!! 💗
