Zach Rousseau knows that walking away from his six-figure salary at a Boston law firm sounds crazy. But the chance to be outside? In nature? Every day? And actually help people?

I don’t even know where to start! I wish i could give this book 10 stars! Every single time i read a new book of Stephanie’s i say it is my favorite but honestly this one really does tie for first place with Butterfly Ginger. I wish i could make every single person discover her books! I laughed so much, teared up a couple of times and absolutely loved that some characters from her other books were mentioned. Most of her books are stand alone so it was a treat to see characters from past books mentioned. I freaking love Stephanie and hope anyone that reads this will go out and buy this book or heck get them all, it will be worth every penny!

One of my fav books from this author to date, and I like them all.

The first part I found relatable was life and issues stemming from the pandemic - it was refreshing to read about something so familiar to us all, that we have all lived through recently, as well as the characters.

The enemies to lovers aspect, the detail in starting up their camp and business in the midst of a shocking turn of the events that propel Zach and Greta's story forward, and the flawless writing made this a "full" book.

By full, I mean rich, vibrant, and intense at some points. I've said that these characters are real and they chose the author to tell their story in such a way that I found myself anxious, pissed off at some of the characters to the point where I wanted to throw the book and tear my hair out lol, but to me, a book that can evoke such emotion is a book worth reading more than once.

Without giving any spoilers, this book felt alive for me and it was a fresh idea that ended up being more than I thought it would be at first. It lingered with me well after I finished and the author's style continues to bloom into a style that grows more lyrical and beautiful with each novel she writes.

I can't recommend Camp Bliss enough as well as Greta's cool cocktail recipes and I will forever have a special place in my heart for pancakes.

Can't wait to share Miss Fournet's novels with my daughter in the future! They hold a special spot in my heart.

6 shining, vibrant stars.

This book you need to read when you feel down, when you are having a tough day, week, month! It is not only about love but also about mental health!

Both main characters are amazing and complex people: our girl Greta has a vision and our man Zack will do everything in his power to make this vision come true! They are so lovable and the grumpiness or dislike Zack shows toward Greta in the beginning of the story is just his way to cope.

I have such a nice and warm feeling after I finished it .. I want to have such people as Z and G in my life .. their love and compassion have no bounds - such people are true gemstones! 😍

Highly recommended read! This book makes you feel hugged! 🥹

So I was picturing Zach like this:

Yes, I know the hair isn't right, but Derek Theler is what my mind (body?) wanted! Ya welcome.

The review: Parts made me smile, giggle, cringe, '...the fuck?,' 'ARE YOU INSANE!', 'oh dang!', 'fuck. yes. girlfriend,' and even sigh with Ferris Bueller levels of contentment. Whew! All in all, a wonderful story. (Though a supplemental smattering of steamy segments would have been sublime! ;)

AND super bonus, we got to see my boy Tyler again! Albeit briefly! I geeked the fuck out. Love that character.

I've loved all of Stephanie's books, but this one captured my heart from the very first words, it's become my favorite book so far by this author, and I can't wait to see what wonderful book Stephanie pulls out of his hat next time. Absolutely the top pick of the summer, I recommend it to everyone who is looking for their next book love story. a real Bliss

I admit that I did not read anything about this title before I pre-ordered it. Why, you may ask? Because Stephanie Fournet creates incredibly well-known rounded, beautiful characters. I love that she tackles issues like depression, traumatic brain injury, alcoholism, etc making her characters so real.
Camp Bliss a slow burn, enemies to friends/ lovers, work place 😁 romance. In other words, everything you want in a romance novel and more!

I went into this expecting another cute romance set in one of my favorite places, a summer camp. What I found instead was a dramatic, heart wrenching tale that I didn't see coming.
Josh, Greta, and Zack decide to leave their corporate lives behind to start the retreat of their dreams. But when Josh disappears, Great and Zack have to make more than their depleted finances work.
Camp Bliss, for all the romance and whimsy, is a place where our characters heal and grow and learn to trust themselves. And the addition of a little spice never hurt anyone.
My heart is full and happy after reading this.

Stephanie Fournet is one of my favorite authors! I love the cameos in this book from past characters, too - fun little easter eggs for sure. Camp Bliss offers a realistic and honest representation of mental health and addiction - the struggles of the ones suffering and the struggles of the ones who love them. I was hesitant at first because of the change in relationships and dynamics of the characters, but Fournet handled it beautifully (not a spoiler - there is no cheating involved) and the growth of the characters and their respective relationships felt very authentic. An overall great read!

Making my reservation at Camp Bliss and CBN/S!

What a phenomenal read! I’ve loved this authors books for a long time and she definitely didn’t disappoint with her newest book. She doesn’t hold back with some difficult topics of today! As usual she her beautiful home in Louisiana as her backdrop for Camp Bliss.

This is the book you need to restore your belief that a really good book still exists in the indie world! It has you believing it’s ok to not be okay, believing in yourself, believing in others, believing that love does heal all and most of all knowing that dreams can come true.
Throw in some drama, lots of laugh out loud humor, an overweight corgi and Mother Nature at her finest you just can’t go wrong with this read!

This book does tackle some difficult issues so please just be aware that alcoholism, mental health, and illness are a part of this book. They are handled compassionately and truthfully by the author.

Loved it . Zach is a great book boyfriend . Patient , so respectful . He loved Greta but she didn’t let on for a long time that she felt the same . They were partners in building a wilderness camp mostly for kids with cabins in nature , rope courses , zip lines , fishing and all around active camp experience . We see them starting from nothing and building their dream with of course betrayals from others and problems along the way .

I am pretty sure that almost everyone had a dream during (or post) covid to quit their jobs and move away from the hustle and bustle of the rat race and finally do something that fulfilled their lives. Well, Greta actually did it. I was very happy to live out my wildest fantasy of heading bush through Greta and Zach.

It had that “he falls first, he falls hard, he tries to push her away because he can’t have her” vibes, which I was eating up. It was trying to be enemies to lovers but you could tell he was just too smitten to make it believable to anyone but Greta herself, who bordered on wilfully ignorant.

One part I loved, but others might not enjoy so much, was the period content. You hardly see it in romance and I often wonder how some of these characters hook up so much with no mention of the cis FMC’s period. Thank you for a MMC who wasn’t fussed or grossed out, knew the kinds of things he could do to help and did it without being asked. (Yes, the bar is that low 😂)

Oh and there is lots of great mental health talk in here. People getting therapy when they recognise worrying signs.
CN for alcohol abuse

I’ll read anything Fournet puts out, so gimmie more.

Zack and Greta were legit relationship goals, I loved them so much.

However, Josh was annoying.

SPOILERS AHEAD

I acknowledge that he is Zach's best friend and used to be Greta's boyfriend, and when they had the idea for Camp Bliss, he was the reason Zach and Greta met in the first place, and I might have cried a little when he left them to goto rehab because he finally admitted he had a problem with alcohol consumption, but taking all their money and disapperaing? Then coming back expecting Zack and Greta to put his life back on trach for him?

Okay, I will be fair, he almost drank himself to death by that point and yes, he didn't technically spend all of that money he Stole from their shared account, but still. I can't say I don't have any sympathy for the guy, but saying he is not my favorite character of all time would be a major understatement.

P.S. I loved the epilogue with Tyler, Nina, and their little girl. I love those characters and I really enjoyed reading about them again, albeit very briefly.

Stephanie is one of my favourite authors. I love how she writes her characters and their plot lines. Her male characters are always particularly well written. I like that the books aren’t cheesy, I’d be wary normally of something set in a camp but there’s no cliche or overdone scenarios and no unnecessary angst. I also appreciate that Stephanie approach’s mental health in a very manageable realistic way, without it becoming too stressful for the reader. I really enjoyable journey to an HEA.

Greta is a “real” girl!

I can relate and I loved this detail of Camp Bliss! Greta has a period and then a month later we hear about it again! And then she’s worried about chipped nail polish?!?!?!? I love Greata!!
