For the past few volumes odd creatures have been wondering out of the mountains. Red, Rit and Van finally decide to investigate and at the same time hopefully learn more about the Hero's Blessing and the ancient past. Of course, it comes with its fair share of slice-of-life and romance between the couple of the series. While it was an entertaining read, and it does give some much looked for answers, I am not sure I liked the (for a lack of a better word) final confrontation of this book or at least the reason/answers that came with it. Mind you, it did not really impact my enjoyment and it was a nice addition to the series.
