This is no time to get involved, especially with an enemy who steps between her and the terrorist she has to stop.

Logan Baklanov has been known by many names in the underbelly of international terrorism and will do whatever it takes to shield those he loves from the treacherous world he lives in. When his brother’s life is in jeopardy, Logan takes on a role that places him at the top of the most-wanted lists of government security agencies in every country. The heroine is a ghost and the only family member she stayed in touch with died in the last book because of her. And now she is hunting the killer known as the banker and unknown to her another team is hunting the same man and their leader is man she knew intimately and fell for six years ago when she was recovering from her mistakes. The heroine is also in a world of trouble with her team because of her obsession. I enjoyed the book quite a bit, the mystery gets deeper. Chatton is one character I am curious about and I think it is time Sabrina forgives Gage. Overall I even enjoyed the romance, the heroine was a survivor and I loved that about her.

Kiss the Enemy ( Slye Temp #4) by Dianna Love is a 2013 Silver Hawk Press publication. I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
The Banker was responsible for the death of someone Margaux loved and now she is literally obsessed with finding him and exacting revenge. Working with the Slye Temp group, Margaux is really pushing her luck by not playing by the rules. When it becomes apparent she needs to lay low for her own safety and the reputation of the team, Sabrina sees to it Margaux is well hidden. But, she should have known Marguax couldn't just sit still. Going solo, Margaux finds herself face to face with a man she had fallen in love during a failed mission in Paris. The man now calls himself" Logan" and he doesn't know which side Margaux is on and she doesn't know which side he is on, but they know they still feel something for each other despite the fact one could be their mortal enemy.
With no other choice but to join forces, Margaux and Logan set out to prevent a major catastrophe and save many lives. The mission is a dangerous one and the simmering fire burning between them complicates things. It is really hard to work that closely with someone under such a stressful situation and not know for sure if you can trust them, even if you wanted to.
This book is a very action packed romantic suspense novel that will have you holding on with both hands. Margaux is a kick butt "ghost" that tries to keep her sentimentality hidden, never allowing anyone to see the person underneath all that training. Logan is a person that has made incredible sacrifices to save his family. He hurt Margaux badly six years ago , but that was never his intention. Both characters hold on to secrets and keep their personal thoughts and feelings close to the vest. I liked both of them and could just tell they were perfect for each other. However, The Banker has other ideas....
I recommend this one to all romantic suspense fans, but those who read thrillers might like this one too. This one gets 4 stars.

Kiss the Enemy by Dianna Love is part of the exciting romantic suspense ‘Slye Temp’ series and features Margaux Duke, who has been on shaky ground with the agency even before one unsanctioned mission implodes and lands her in a jungle prison with a mysterious male who she refuses to abandon. Their shared pursuit of a chillingly amoral villain is derailed when neither is able to fully trust the other, despite their mutual attraction. Each will have to decide what path will allow them to live with a clear conscience and whether that excludes the opportunity to follow the dictates of his or her heart.

This rollercoaster read is a fun blend of danger and romance with a definitely kick-butt heroine who has her own agenda and past baggage to deal with that is not helped any by running into a guy who complicates her life immensely, just by his very existence. Each of them has a complex set of obligations that are definitely compromised by their overwhelming attraction to each other’s courage and inner strength, not to mention, sex appeal. It is so entertaining to read about a heroine who is just as capable (if not more so) as the males around her and the tension keeps escalating throughout the story until its glorious conclusion. There are delightful twists and turns to go with the non-stop action and a wonderfully creepy villain. I am not quite positive about the villain receiving his just desserts but I definitely want to read other stories in this series and look forward to even more adventures featuring the Slye Temp agency and its satellite connections.

Kiss The Enemy (Slye Temp Book #4) by Dianna Love

Margaux Duke is on the run and wanted by the FBI and Interpol. But she has to find the Banker. He had a friend of Margaux killed and she wants justice. In disguise, she meets Dragan Stoli, aka Logan Baklanov, who supposedly has the right connections to get her to the Banker. But something goes wrong and soon the two of them are held captive in the jungle somewhere being beaten and tortured for information.

This is action and adventure espionage from start to finish! I especially liked how strong and well trained the heroine is. Kick ass! Seemingly impossible situations has her coming up with a plan of escape. And she succeeds! Marvelously well.

While this is this the 4th in series and can be read on its own with the main players, other character interactions and some background stories are not explained in detail here.

I received a copy of this book from the author.

I love this series all the characters are so interesting in each story this one is full of danger, intrigue, angst, terrorism, action packed, intense drama, steam, twists & plots make for one addicting read you can't put down.
Margaux Duke is a Slye Team Operative on the run wanted by FBI & Interpol for going rogue on an unsanctioned mission she's after a terrorist that's out to destroy the last family she has left her Team.
Logan Baklanov aka Dragan Stoli meets up with Margaux at her bankers he was suppose to have right connections but something goes wrong the two are held captive in a jungle somewhere beaten & tortured for information.
I definitely recommend to get this riviting on the edge of seat story with a kick*ss heroin Margaux & Dragan their chemistry is scorching hot between these two while fighting to survive.
Margaux & Dragan are in an impossible situation, will they escaped to succeed at what their trying to do its a must read you don't want go miss you so won't be disappointed so well written with awesome characters.

So good

Margaux is part of the Slye team and when a terrorist, the Banker, kills her one family member she has left, she'll do anything to get revenge. Her team thinks she's obsessed so she ends up going rogue. While undercover as a hooker, to hopefully meet the terrorist, she meets Logan.
Logan is part of a secret group. He has made a name for himself and his team as mercenaries. He wants the Banker to trade him for his brother that is in a Russian prison. He is wanting to be hired by the Banker so he can take him down.
Logan and Margaux are thrown together when they are both kidnapped and tortured. But they are not strangers and knew each years ago. Will they stop a mad man before it's too late?

Another awesome story. I love this series. I was honestly afraid of what would happen so I would stop reading. Action. Suspense. Sex. Had me hooked from the very beginning.

This is part of the Slye Team Black Ops series, that keeps you reading until the last page and wanting more. Marguax Duke works for the Slye agency and is very good at her job. Recently she lost a cousin to an assassin and wants revenge. Her snitch gives her bad intel and the team ends up ruining a DEA sting so she is mad they were setup. The DEA and agent in charge are furious, so Marguax has to lay low. She gets info that “The Banker” who set up her cousins assassination, is in the states and she goes after him. This leads to being kidnapped, escaping in the jungle with another captive, then being rescued and held prisoner. This book is not only a love story but a never ending adventure from page one until the end.

I was absolutely blown away by this story! Margaux and Logan are incredible together. I’m a huge fan of romance stories that don’t take away from the bigger story and I can say, without a doubt, that romance in Kiss the Enemy only ADDS to the story. I love the devotion both Margaux and Logan have for their teams and it was frustrating to see them battling each other while also still trying to help and save one another. Margaux is a badass and I adore her, strong, powerful, willful, beautiful - all on her own. Logan is the same, and they’re both stubborn as mules which made it all the more fun to read.

Margaux is on the run and wanted by the FBI and Interpol. She’s trying to find the Banker since he had her friend killed. She meets Dragan aka Logan, the guy who supposedly has connections to get to the Banker, but something goes wrong and they become captives in the jungle. This book is a decent action/adventure with a strong heroine. The book is supposed to be a stand-alone inspite that it’s the 4th book in the series, but I was bothered by the fact that many interactions and background stories are not explained in this book.

I've never read any of Dianna's Slye Temp books until this one and since falls in the middle of the series, that might have been a problem but I found that it stood very well on it's own. I loved the smart banter, the sexual tension between Margaux and Dragon and the roller coaster ride action and hair's breadth escapes.
I'll definitely go looking for more Slye Temp books next time I'm looking for a special ops/FBI type thriller.

Kiss The Enemy is the third book in the Slye Team Black Ops Series.
I couldn't put it down. The author has given us a heart pounding story that keeps us turning the pages with suspense and romance as well.
Amazing series. Even so that each book can be read as as standalone, I think it is best to read them in order. You will not regret it.

I loved this book. It was on my must read list before but now that I've read it I can't rave about it enough. The book features as very strong female lead and she kicks just as much butt as any of the boys. The novel takes you through the typical twists and turns of a romance novel but with a take no sh*t attitude that makes it real and relatable. Definitely should be on your read list!

Quality suspense romance

You learn a lot about Margeux in this book, and she's pretty awesome. There are a lot of twists and turns as she keeps getting herself into tight spots, most of them involving the same hot guy.

Margau will risk everything for her team, even if they don’t totally believe her. When she runs out of options, she must sacrifice it all to protect them, never thinking that the love of her past would reappear. Do they have a chance?

I've enjoyed this series including this book. Logan and Margaux are intense and interesting. The book is full of so much suspense and a slowly building romance. The bad guys are really bad, the good guys are very likable. Maybe it's just me but at times I was a little lost with all the intrigue there's so much going on. The action is complicated with dire circumstances for not only our Slye Ops team, Logan and the other operators but to a vast public.

Again, Love gives us a enjoyable read.

Thanks to the author for the ARC.

Kiss the Enemy by Dianna Love is the 4th book in her wonderful Slye Temp Series. This is such a fantastic series, with each book being a thrill a minute, as well as having a fabulously hot couple. Once again, Dianna Love outdoes herself with Kiss the Enemy, which I finished in less than a day. The only thing that interrupted me was things I had to do, and as soon as I finished, I hurried back to read this exciting book that I could not pull away from.

If you have not read my previous reviews, Slye Temp is an agency the does covert operations to help the government against terrorists type of activity. Sabrina Slye is the leader, and she is an awesome one at that. I look forward to one day her story. But in Kiss the Enemy, our heroine is Margaux, who works for Sabrina, and is one of her best agents. Margaux though has a hidden past, that cannot be revealed, as it would mean her sure death. Sabrina is the one who saved her, and trained to be one of her Ops.

But awhile ago Margaux’s cousin was murdered by a villain named the Banker, and she has blamed herself for her cousin’s death. Margaux has since been on a vendetta to find him and kill him. Sabrina has warned her that she is putting the team at risk. The book picks up with the team on an assignment based on Margaux’s info from her main source. The Op goes bad, and Sabrina plans on removing her from the team, but into a safe house. Before this could happen, Margaux gets a tip that the Banker is in the states and this is her chance to find him, and at the same time protect her Slye Temp team. So she runs away.

This is just the beginning of the book, so I am not giving spoilers. But believe me, once I finished the first chapter, I was totally hooked, and needed to find out what happens next. It is at a party, where Margaux is in disguise as a hooker; she meets Dragan (aka Logan), a known mercenary, who is also at the party to meet the Banker. From here on in, the excitement level escalates to so many thrilling moments, as the two of them work close together to survive. Do they trust each other? …not really. Is there chemistry between them? Whew..enough to steam up your e-reader (or the mirror in your room). I loved both Margaux and Logan together. They fought; they worked together; they killed to survive; they schemed; and they had hot steamy sex. Logan had his own team, and I would love to learn more about them too.

I will not tell you too much more, as I do not want to spoil things. This was such a fantastic story, that I could not get enough of, as I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. The suspense was palpitating, as they found themselves in danger so many times, and the story was full of surprises with so many twists along the way.

I have said this before, and I will repeat. Dianna Love writes stories that are exciting, action packed, suspenseful, sexy, and totally pulls you into every page of the book. One of the main things about this series, is the fabulous characters she creates. I love the Slye Temp team, as each series the couples are fabulous. I love Sabrina, even if she is not the main character in each book, she is tough, smart, savvy, intensely loyal, and a very important part of the main theme of this series. To prove how well Dianna creates these awesome characters is that she brought in a different team (Logan’s) and we found ourselves loving them too. I want more of them all.

Please please Dianna, keep on writing this series, and giving us more of these fabulous characters, whom we have grown to love. If you love well written books, that are exciting, on the edge of your seat suspense, non-stop action, characters you care about, fun and hot steamy sex; then look no further than Dianna Love and her Slye Temp series.

The Slye Temp series is always packed with physical risks and steamy passion, and the fourth book, KISS THE ENEMY, delivers both in huge amounts. Danger is often unanticipated, and outcomes are frequently uncertain until the very last second. Desire between the hero and heroine rises until only a slight touch can turn the moment into a heated embrace. A perfect balance of suspense and romance makes KISS THE ENEMY totally captivating and always entertaining. Dianna Love has created an exceptionally compelling Slye Temp story, a series I never want to end.

When the current mission being carried out by the Slye Temp organization goes wrong, it is believed agent Margaux Duke was on a personal vendetta and not only acting on supposedly good info. Although she would like to make the person who killed a relative pay, she had really thought a terrorist attack was imminent and needed to be stopped. When Margaux learns her inquiries have put those with whom she works in jeopardy, she will place herself at risk to keep them from being hurt because of her.

After putting a plan in motion to locate the person responsible for making her life so chaotic, Margaux comes in contact with another individual looking for the same man, though for much different reasons. Logan Baklanov needs the known criminal in order to rescue his brother. To make this happen, he must pretend to be someone involved in terrorist acts to draw out this particular individual. When Margaux accidently becomes entangled in his scheme, nothing goes as he wished. Though they must work together or much may be lost, Logan and Margaux are keeping secrets that will keep trust between them from easily forming.

When two strong-willed personalities clash, the results are often volatile and unpredictable. This has never been truer than when Logan and Margaux must make decisions that will greatly affect them both. They are certainly a stubborn pair, as neither wants to give up control of a situation. Several of their conversations are very explosive, and I had no idea who would win. Though they may be hot-tempered, thankfully they are still able to think things through enough to know when it is wise to at least give in just a little. I loved watching Logan and Margaux bicker, as their disputes are filled with so much passion. This is one reason I think their love-making was so fiery, as everything these two does is backed by lots of emotion. The vulnerability shown by Logan at times is especially touching, as this very alpha hero has a soft side when it comes to Margaux.

Any danger in the story is convincingly depicted with much potential harm, and what Logan and Margaux must go through sometimes is extremely challenging. How their minds work to figure out a solution to any dilemmas proves they are intelligent and very creative. Books with loads of action have always been a favorite of mine, and Dianna Love knows how to make her suspenseful stories continuously gripping. There is hardly a moment to take a calming breath in KISS THE ENEMY before a threat once again comes into the lives of Logan and Margaux. There are numerous new characters in the latest story of the Slye Temp series that I would like to have their own story, as well as those from previous books who have yet to find someone to love. I especially want to know more about Nick plus Sabrina and Gage.

Boy did I fail big time. I have had this book in my to read pile and completely forgot to read it until finally making time for one of my favorite authors. Such a loser!

What had I missed? A FREAKING AWESOME continuation of the Slye Temp series by Dianna Freaking Love!!! She did not disappoint.

Here we are telling Margaux Duke's story of lost love, found again in the most unexpected place. A prison camp. Margaux is so hard on herself trying to make things right and find her cousin's murderer but must defy her only friendship and the trust of her team to do so. Risking it all to follow a lead, she runs into trouble, narrowly escaping with her life, and helps an unknown enemy escape death.

Logan Baklanov, A.K.A. Dragan the ruthless mercenary, is deep under cover to capture his enemy and save his brother when he crosses paths with a long ago lover who seemingly works for the wrong team. Deal gone wrong lands Dragan in a torture cell and sacrificing himself to save the other captor from damaging abuses.

Somehow these two make it out alive and find themselves fighting to save innocent lives and bag the evil doer, only to find themselves in a truly twisted plot that could bring their doom and destroy everything they have worked and sacrificed to protect.

I was on the edge of my seat from the first page until the last. I so cannot wait to see where this story leads. Looks like another series in the making!!!

Kiss the Enemy is a high octane, thrill ride through the high stakes world of ......being on the run from just about everyone! With no one to trust, you end up with the old adage "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" or do you?
Margaux made a bad call on a mission beginning with getting fed bad intel. Now her team doesn't trust her and she's been put on lock-down but when she finds out that they are in trouble, she'll risk everything, even her own life to protect them from a madman.
The key to that protection is in killing a man called The Banker. She finds out that he's back in the United States to set up a meeting with a terrorist group and will make contact at a party. Margaux must be at that party to stop him. While she weaves her magic by pretending to be a call girl to get close to the group, she meets the bodyguard, Logan, of the alleged group and it all goes to hell from there! Yep, totally not going to spoil more for you *evil cackle*.
I absolutely loved this book. It sucked me in from the beginning and I just couldn't put it down. Right from the get-go it's an action packed book that grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go! The pacing is great, the story is plausible, the characters have depth and oh, the heat sizzles all while on the run!!
Definitely recommend!!

The books in this series just get better and better. I'm always curious what is going to happen in the next one. I never worry if it is going to be good because I know it will be, without a doubt. This series shows that Dianna Love's writing is like a super power. Margaux and Logan have one of the most exciting stories I have ever read. There were so many twists and turns that I couldn't walk away from the book. I was very surprised with Nick and his new "friend." I'm very interested to see where that goes. It would be great to see more of Logan's team as well. Don't even get me started on Sabrina and Gage....sigh. The way the "bigger picture" story evolved in this book was huge! Things are happening! Big things! That is one of the things I love so much about these books. There is no dilly dallying. I'm never bored, or wondering when something is going to happen because there is always something happening. Hooray for another great Slye Temp book! With all that said, I must tell you that I received this book for free. Let the wait for the next Slye Temp book begin!

Dianna Love weaves a tale with characters that you can relate to. Margaux and Logan have their demons and their dreams. They both live their lives always looking over their shoulder, never trusting other people. This fast action novel had me so anxious, that I actually had to put it down for a little bit! LOL You won't be bored with this novel, and you know that Dianna will give you a HEA - well, till the next story! LOL Loved this book.
