I definitely got a lot out of this book. It's well written, engaging, and basic enough that even I could understand the principles of the game. I would highly recommend it for anyone learning to play golf. But I would say that after reading it and going to the driving range a few times, you have to get some lessons as well. The book can tell you what you should do, but it can't watch you and tell you what you specifically are doing wrong. That's where the lessons become critical.

It’s a fun way to go through the fundamentals, and I liked the still frame photos

After researching various golf instruction type books I really connected with this one. I read it entirely before I stepped foot on the driving range for the first time and truly loved it! The practice tips and hints are right on target. It's very descriptive and easy to follow and funny at times. This is a new sport for my family and I bought each of us a copy of this to use as a reference.
