In a remote village in Africa where the author grew up, the noise of Western life is silenced to reveal the drumbeat of 20 basic principles of leadership. Leadership is difficult... but it is simple. Village life provides basic illustrations of leadership.
A self-published work, this well-written, helpful book on leadership blends research, reflection, and analogies from both the Bible and a childhood in Nigeria to make the case for several key leadership lessons. I enjoyed reading it and am glad I was given a copy, as I have all too often thought of leadership as a quality that some people have, not a skill set to be developed. Seger demonstrates it is both.
