A nice cover on this one. I love it when the prison population is fairly represented.

”Minute Differences” starts with Batgirl in jail being harassed by prisoners. Batgirl and Commissioner Gordon are fighting prisoners. They both heard about a disturbance on the radio and came to investigate.

Apparently Ted and Ned Spencer started the fights to escape. They trace the license plate on the getaway car a company that employ’s Ted’s wife.

The receptionist when asked about a company car throws coffee at Commissioner Gordon. Ted and Ned show up with guns ready to fight. After taking a couple of hits they escape with the help of Ted’s wife Dyan. She says she is actually Better, their sister.

This is a story I’ve read before in Batgirl: A League of Her Own, but I’m enjoying the art work so I’ll read it again.

Yup, it’s still a 5 star story.

This story opens with action right away where the scene is some prison and Batgirl and Police Comissioner Gordon is fighting inmates! There are two prisioners who are brothers that escaped and Batgirl and Gordon are on the case to get them back. Which takes them to confront the sister of the convict and that lead to some action and they are hot on the trail of the convicts which lead to the subplot of family and Barabara Gordon and the Commissioner Gordon’s relationship. Sweet father-daughter end.

This father-daughter dynamic tends to be heartwarming, and this is no exception.
