Excellent book by an excellent author. Her words are incredibly encouraging and uplifting - she doesn’t fail to go in depth in the subject of prayer. Her stories, wisdom, faith, understanding, and dedication are awe-inspiring. The book is impactful because by mere words and sentences on printed pages it is evident that this woman lives and breathes what she writes.

The author the Holy Ghost via Joy Haney. Author "went through many hard trials and faced hell before God brought her to this place. It is a blessed place to be, but it is a process getting there. When you learn to pray the way God wants you to pray, you cannot wait to pray. You long to pray." How does God want you to pray? How does He want me to pray? Prayer is God's chosen means of communication. Jesus is deserving of all praise and honor, that is how answers come. Worship deeply. God wants our praise, not just our requests (page 91 of 126). Importantly, prayer is for the lost, rather than solely means to get what you want (page 93 of 126). Jesus is puzzled why people do not let Jesus use their bodily temples (unwilling to become available?) so His spirit can pray through them (Page 93 of 126: Isaiah 59:16).

No need to beg! Think of afterlife where you are accused because you were not available for Jesus to use you in prayer. Prayer is a means how Jesus works to keep someone from danger or to draw someone to Christ. For the Pentecostal jargon "pray through," Haney has first spell-it-out definition I've heard (page 95 of 126) "...intercession is a lonely time. It is laying on the floor feeling the weight of a burden that is not humanly possible to bear. It is praying until the heaviness lifts and hell is pushed back one more time." It feels like spiritual birth. The desire of the slothful killeth him; for his hands refuse to labor. He covets greedily all the day long; but the righteous (the innocent) giveth and spareth not (Psalm 21:25-26)." I had no concept of the "ministry of intercession." (Page 97 of 126). "As soon as Zion travailed she brought forth her children (Page 98; Isaiah 66:8)." When we finally get some birthed, we will not rise up in the night and feed our babies. We let them cry for milk." Also see II Kings 19:3: This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and blasphemy; for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth. We will not take world through comfortable prayer it will be travail. Also, see Luke 2:36-38. Anna the prophetess served the Lord through prayer and fasting: interesting because the concept of serving the Lord reveals that I did not know how powerful prayer is. I knew before that prayer worked. But I never would have described prayer as service to the Lord.

Hell's prayer requests are never answered (page 88). Satan's business is to keep you from praying. He will use any and everything he can (page 109). Now, I realize prayer is a privilege. Joy Haney wrote the idea, imagine being able to speak with the president 24/7; don't you realize that speaking with Christ 24/7 is a privilege one billion times more valuable (page 15 of 126 paraphrased).

Early church was not golfing. shopping at malls, or given in to social clubs. Overcharged with surfeiting is probably a greater hindrance to revival than great sins of the flesh. The devil does not care how he can get you to not pray. The key is to keep you involved in things that will obscure the most important things (Page 27 and 28 of 126 not paraphrased). For example, don't worry about cleaning out the garage. Why did this problem appear in the first place? We are not called to clean out a garage full of belongings.

Yikes to page 31 of 126. 'God is not asking us to do miracles. He is asking us to pray. He will do the miracles.' This statement is along the lines of complacency. 'The spirit of him that raised Christ from the dead dwell in you' - not 'the spirit of the Lord which worshiped prayed and fasted dwells in you.' So young Christians should be out there raising the dead. This is from Apostle Frequency Revelator.

Fervency or complacency spells the difference between victory and loss (page 56).

Agape love missionaries need to go, give, share, care, understand, wait, and endure.

Pray that God brings down kingdom of darkness and against negative influences in society from sickness to everything that is bad that society wrongly accepts as good (pages 62 - 64).

Prayerlessness causes you to slowly die. Zest leaves you. You seethe with resentment and anger. Without prayer you become a dry thirsty land, depressed without hope. You become parched and cracked in your spirit, and lizards of disillusionment, suspicion, and fear run in and out of your mind (page 72-73). Prayerlessness causes you to live with frustration.

Prayer causes you to leave seat of judges and become merciful (page 74).

Prayer has five friends, 1. determination, 2. knowledge, 3. ambition, 4. perseverance, 5. initiative (page 75-76).

Ephesians 6:18 without prayer you are undressed, naked to the wiles and temptations of Satan. The 7th piece of armor was prayer. The armor is no good without prayer (page 76).

Jesus stores every one of our prayers in golden vials plural (Page 79 of 126). Why? Because prayer is pleasing to Jesus. The old testament practice of burning incense is like the new testament practice of prayer.

Prayer gives confidence 1 John 5:14

When ye pray is Jesus spirit filled life commandment in Matthew 6:5. I have hid the word in my heart so that I do not sin against him. So pray! Don't beg! Pray!

When you pray it is better to have heart without words than words without heart. So guttural sounds you make, do it!

If you continue to stay on your knees you will continue to bring Christ to your generation (Haney page 109).

Nothing takes away from secret time alone with the master. It is refreshing, uplifting, cleansing, and strengthening to the soul, mind and body (Page 3 of 126). Pray like you never have before. Pray for truth and innocence to prevail.

Supplication: to ask earnestly. A humble petition (Pg 85 of 126) He never spoke empty words, He was unorthodox, and he never boxed Himself in with one way of doing something (page 86 of 126).

If Jesus did not want you to keep knocking, he would not have put the word importunity in the Bible (Page 86 of 126).

Jude 1:20 (our faith is built up by praying in the Holy Ghost; page 116 of 126). We as church must move into new dimensions of faith praying and believing God for miracles every day. What do we have faith for (page 117 of 126)?
