Ok so "Lists to Live By: The Third Collection" by Alice Gray, Steve Stephens, and John Van Diest is kind of incredible. The book is a collection of lists from over 100 books and magazine articles. It condenses multi chapter, 100+ page books down to a page or two. It also collects information in handy and easy to reference sections. In this particular edition the topics include finances, family, marriage, wisdom, and friendship among many others.
Because of the nature of the book it's a very quick read if you want it to be. It's also one that could take a long time depending on the amount of time you take to consider the words being read.
I highly recommend this book to everyone! The book does seem to offer a few pieces of advice geared specifically towards Christians- a number of the lists mention prayer and many of the included writers are Christian writers. Those who aren't religious could easily substitute mindfulness and meditation in the place of prayer.
I honestly can't say enough good things.

While much of this is probably good stuff it was really dull reading. Some of the lists were quotes from problematic sources. There was no outward indication about how religious this book was too.

Great lists, but also felt like reading the same thing over and over

This is a collection of lists from everything from success to friendship, from health to marriage. It is a nice resource for inspirational notes to friends or just a little something to get your brain thinking about a topic.
