Saffron is trapped on Ogygia with a newly resurrected enemy, oblivious to the details of the prophecy surrounding her and her heart.

Lamb heals from her wounds as enemies ride for her and the other huntresses, searching for the one destined to take down the worst monster of them all- Typhon.

Hermes grieves the actions of his mistakes, while building an army with Hades and Persephone in Poseidon's castle.

And Hart Sommers, the first oracle in two thousand years, must find the other components of the prophecy before Styx.

I know I said that the last book in the series was my favorite but then I read this one and am completely in love with it, my heart has been shattered in pieces and I was in a constant state of emotional turmoil, so naturally this one is my favorite now 🥲

Read if you like-
✔️ Percy Jackson and Heroes of Olympus series (this will be a darker version)
✔️ Greek mythology
✔️ Titans and gods
✔️ Slow burn
✔️ Soulmates

Idek where to start with this review without thinking about the pain I was put through. From book 1, my favorite morally grey character has been Epiales. The love and pain I feel for him, no other character in the series compares to that. His bond with Saffron is everything and the love he has for her is truly the definition of undying. To see him suffer again and again was unbearable to read, I loved to put myself through that tho 👀

Hermes is a... bitch. I understand things from his perspective but it doesn't stop me from hating him. He is no longer the sweet character I adored. He is just a petty bitch, he is the Regina George of this world. I said what I said 🙃

Ares, finally we're getting somewhere with him and Saffron. I love how protective yet empowering he is towards Saffron. Always patient, always grateful and never possessive. Their slow burn is the sweetest thing ever and I can't wait for them to solidify it in the next book. I hope we get a lot more scenes of them together, cause I missed Ares in the first half of this book.

Saffron has surely come a long way. Seeing her own up to her powers is so badass. Her emotions and love is def not her weakness but stronghold.

Coming to the supporting characters, I liked Lamb more in this book. Hart and Apollo's love was swoon worthy. I have always liked Hart and to see her grow into her role as an Oracle is satisfying.

The action sequences were so enjoyable and described vividly and beautifully. I was completely mesmerized. I can't wait for the main showdown against Styx in the next and final book. The ending was painful. I didn't want this book to end at all, I wish it was much longer. I could read another 300 pages of it. Its honestly such an underrated series and being slept on.

Am gonna end this review and sob over Epiales and think about Ares and Saffron now....

Highly recommended

This one was a little slow with its build up. It had its moments that it really had me on the edge of my seat. A little disappointed it ended on that cliffhanger. All in all it was entertaining.

Firstly, I want to thank Trish for being on her arc team. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to read her incredible books before they come out.

Secondly, WOAH! This book. I can’t… I don’t even know how to put into words how phenomenal it was. THIS IS THE BOOK!!! The book I will talk about for the rest of my life. The book and series I will recommend to everybody who will listen.

Every single page matters, every single page is brilliant. The characters are all incredibly well written, their dialogue is the best dialogue I have ever read in any book!

All the twists and shocks in this book had my jaw constantly on the floor and tears flowing down my cheeks at the heartbreaking scenes that Trish is fantastic at writing. She knows how to crush my soul and I welcome it haha

I cannot wait until the final book in this series. I am going to be losing my mind with the wait.

If I could get you to read any series ever please let it be this one. Take this review and immediately go buy this series. I promise you won’t regret it.

You know you’ve found the one when you’re left a sobbing, blubbering mess at 8pm on a work night 😭 when you feel so emotional about it that you have to message the author to describe to them how much their books have changed your life. I am so thankful to be on Trish’s arc team.

You guys I am not ok. I don’t have the words to describe how much this hurt. But it is one of the BEST book series I have ever read. Ever. If I make you read one book series in your life, let this one be it.

I can’t even adequately describe this because I just have no words. It is perfect. If you love Greek Mythology and Dystopian books, and really truly want to have your heart broken… read this series. Just read it. Now.

The way this series has captured me I never want to let go. It is one of those books you want to read as fast as possible to find out what happens next while at the same time take your time to savor every moment. And just like all the other books in this series be prepared to cry and want to grow the book across the room because no character is safe from trauma and being killed off. And the fucking end was the worst kind of cliffhanger I don't know how I will servive till the next and final book.

I do have to add that the only thing missing was more Ares. But I have faith it is building up for the next book♥️♥️♥️

If you love Greek Mythology and fantasy this is such a great series to start. I received this book as an ARC - my review is by my own choice and is not paid for.
*****POTENTIAL SPOILERS*****

Saffron once again did what she thought was right - she traded her life for others. Saffron is now faced with a big decision. Hecate had her bring Epiales back - this causing Saffron to rethink everything. While Saffron is stuck on an island where no one can find her. She’s feeling helpless and lost, unsure what she should do next. The prophecy states the savior’s heart will die twice and will cause the war to begin. The question is…..who’s the heart?

Styx has had centuries to plan her rule and she’s not willing to give up now. She plays everyone like her own personal pawns. Making sure whatever happens - she wins. Styx has made sure every player in the game is used. She hides and lets others do her bidding. She’s close to being the ruler and she’ll let nothing get in her way.

Hart is trying to understand her seer abilities. She has no one to train her and has no idea how to see. The only way they can defeat Styx is with her powers, but how can they win if she can’t even have one vision?

This is book 4 out of 5, where the first two are a duology about Kronos and the other three are a trilogy about Styx. Trish once again blew my mind with this book. I’m once again SO excited to see how this ends. I can’t wait for the next book.

*ARC REVIEW*
I want to thank Trish for writing such a beautiful book. This book is perfect for anyone who loves/loved Percy Jackson. It is an amazing Greek mythology series to read and this was by far my favorite book in the series. This book made me feel so many emotions all at once with every turn of the page. I feel like I had to pay close attention to every single word that was written so that I did not miss anything. All the laughs, heartache and betrayals are just so good. The character development and the flow of the story just felt right. The ending of this book just has me dying to read book 5 already. I cannot wait to see how the story ends!

Wow
I can't say that I am really surprised that this installment of the Ichor series blew my mind but honestly I can't get enough of the story.

This book was really heavier, I would say more than the previous ones so definitely check out the TWs

Trish has such an amazing ability to pull you on to the page and into this world and really get you so invested in all the character's. If you are a fan of anything when it comes to NA fantasy/distopian series, DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS SERIES!!!

My favorite of the series yet! Oneiroi is full of love, heartbreak, action, adventure, and so many surprises. Every time I thought this book couldn’t get better, it did. The characters are so well written and the different points of view truly felt like that. This book kept me so engaged with all the different character interactions and battles. I never wanted to skip anything. It’s very well balanced with soft moments and big battles.

Thank you for having me on the ARC team!

What a phenomenal series!!! Trish writes your favorite (and most hated) Greek gods in a whole new way. When I tell you I did not put this book down I mean it. I laughed, I wanted to cry, and occasionally I was downright infuriated in the best possible way!!!
Read this series, you will not regret it.

Trish has done it AGAIN! I thought I was already in love with this series, but after reading this one I fell even deeper!

The amount of emotions I had reading this is overwhelming. So many different emotions ran through me, the amount of love I have for all these characters runs deep! The way my heart hurts for these characters hits hard.

I am so thankful for the opportunity to arc read this book. I can’t express how much I love this book.

Emotional rollercoaster here we come!

This book had me crying, laughing and happy. It took a hold of me.

The twist and turns then for the book to end in a cliffhanger has been desperate for the next book.

✨ARC MINI REVIEW✨

Tropes:
- Greek Gods Retelling
- Prophecy
- Love Triangle
- Multi POV

✨There’s no one else in this world for me. I’m in ruin without you ✨

I think this series can be broken up into two parts. Books 1&2 were when Saffron was a human coming into herself facing down Kronos, and books 3-5 are her as a Goddess facing a new enemy. If you look at it that way, then this being book 4 falls to the sequel curse, but … not fully.

✨You are perfect, and perfection doesn’t deserve apologies. Only reverence✨

I enjoyed diving back into the dystopian world with Saffron and co. Watching Gods and humans come together to try to prevent the end of the world, while still trying to get over their own egos and hubris, was a wild ride. Friend becomes foe and enemies become unlikely allies, you don’t know who to trust anymore than the characters do. Experiencing the twists and turns along with a plot line that is set up to be oh so delicious when it finally comes to fruition in book five.

✨War gives no time; it is the thief of settling hearts✨

I really enjoyed watching all the various POVs come together. To watch all the fraying threads finally tie together to shove us forward into the final push of the war, it speaks to the authors writing and planning. Nothing is left up to chance and she is a master at weaving multiple plot points together.

✨You are finished with fear. Cast it aside. Bury it in an unmarked coffin✨

The biggest part of this book that I enjoyed was Saffron’s love story. This girl has been torn apart in so many ways and pieced back together again. She had her first love, her second love, and her third an last is within reach but something is standing in her way. It is a bit frustrating to have this plot point be drug out, but considering there’s a war brewing, it makes sense.

✨I love stories, and yet I was a fool for forgetting hers✨

I think the curse of the sequel falls upon this book because it’s that “in between book”. Everything is still being set up in this book and while there are SOME resolutions, we are stuck with more questions than answers which should come in book 5.

Thank you to @authortrishdw for letting me be an ARC reader!

Spice: 0.5 (very PG Spice!)

Tropes:
Fantasy
Greek Mythology
Greek gods/goddesses
Multiple POV
Love Triangle

“I have feared death before, and it changed who I was. It turned me into a monster I didn’t recognize.

This is the fourth book in the Ichor series, and it has definitely become one of my favorite series (I'm absolutely obsessed with greek mythology).

Just when I think my heart can't be broken anymore in this series, I'm proven VERY wrong! This one was full of action and so much death/destruction.

I found myself praying for all the suffering to end, and just when I thought they were finally getting a break from all the devastation, something always took a turn and had you on the edge of your seat! A definite page turner!

I can't wait for book 5 and the conclusion to this series! It will definitely be a bittersweet moment! 🥹🥹

Oh, the tears I cried in this book. Another masterful continuation of the Icor series. Even though this book brought me the most heartache, it might be my favorite. The character development and flow of the events in the story are perfect. I am a little scared of what the next book is going to bring, but I also can't wait to see what happens.

This was heavy. Very gory so please take the trigger warnings seriously! But dang this was an intense book. The build up, the emotions, the heartache/break, the growth, the death, there was just so much of everything! It was a good set up for the last book and I'm ready to battle!

Why does it end on the same cliffhanger as the three ones before it... come on
It is truly so well written, I still enjoy it very much but it really costs me all my nerves. I already felt the second book was dragged, then the third AND NOW ALSO THE FOURTH ONE?!

Good thing, i made an allnighter for this one. As we all know, reading at night when you should get sleep for work makes every book automatically better. Otherwise it would habe been closer to 2 stars because of the always repeating pattern

genuinely the best book yet in the Ichor Series.

This book picks up with Saffron trapped on Ogygia, everyone searching for her, and betrayal at every turn. It’s so much fun to watch these characters that we know and love develop and grow. who says an immortal cannot become a better person??

for every heartbreak there’s a moment when my heart swooned. I both cannot wait for the next book but also never want this series to end.

this series is perfect for people who love(d) percy jackson, who love fantasy novels with strong female leads, who love redeemable characters. I JUST CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS!!

Trish D.W. Never disappoints. I absolutely love her writing. I knew this book was going to be good just from reading the first 3 in this series. This world that she has created is amazing. Her characters are some of the greatest I have ever been able to experience! I can't wait to read the next book in this series!!!

I don't even know how to put into words how I feel about this amazing book. I laughed, I cried, I was heartbroken, and I was angry. Not exactly in that order, but my heart just doesn't know what to think. I know there is a reason for everything that happens in this series, but it doesn't ease the heartache I am currently feeling. This was beautifully written, and I loved all of it. I can't wait to see how this story ends.

Trish DW has never once disappointed me with this series. I’ve been with this series since the Wattpad days and i’m sooo happy with how far it’s come! With each book release, i think “there’s no way to top the last” and then she DOES IT. Holy sh*t, these books have been a rollercoaster of emotions. I will forever recommend this series!

Thank you so much for letting be on the ARC team for this book release 🥰

This is the 4th book in the Ichor series. This book still continues on the prophecy from the 3rd book Delphi. There’s fighting, drama, betrayal, friendship and relationships.

Without giving anything away, I really enjoyed this book and all the build up for the final book. I cannot wait for the final book of this series. I know it’s going to be an intense book. I did have a few thoughts while reading:

•I had a feeling that person wasn’t going to be good
•I think I’m team Ares instead of Hermes now
•I really hope Erik Oneiroi comes back in the final book (iykyk 😫)

Here are some of my favorite quotes from the book:

- “Because love is both the greatest addiction and the worst weakness.”

- “‘Only a little.’ She slings her bowstring off her shoulder and places the arrow on the bowstring. ‘But not enough to let some wrinkly ball sack kill me.’”

- “You’re perfect, and perfection doesn’t deserve apologies. Only reverence.”

I have this issue where when I don’t want a series to end, I drag out the story as long as possible. Stretching this book for 2 months still wasn’t enough.
Epiales is my favourite character and seeing him in this book made the butterflies in my stomach flutter. Hermes, on the other hand is about to CATCH these hands.

Here Trish comes again, with her beautiful words and plot twists. Give me book five N O W !!!!

This has becomes one of my favorite series ever! It is full of love, heartbreak, action, twist and turns, etc. It so well done and the balance between action and easy moments are perfect, they never make me feel overwhelmed. The characters in this book are incredible and have turned into those characters who you love and feel so many emotions while reading about them. In the end the only thing I can say is please give this story a change because it is amazing! I am so happy i was able to be an arc reader for this book and cannot wait to read the end of this story.
