Eleven-year-old Delia thinks her sweet dreams have come true when she is invited to leave boring-old New York and become Princess Sugarpuff, daughter to King and Queen Gumdrop of the oh-so-magical Candy Kingdom. I think it takes a lot for someone to write a book that’s for young readers and not talk down to them. I love that I just read a book meant for kids and it wasn’t watered down preachy mess. It’s a thought out world that is for kids, but is able to be readable for older kids and adults as well.

I hope more readers find this book soon, I can’t wait to have people to talk to about the series to come.

A fun family adventure with some hidden themes, stories about kids who take their own lives in hand after being kidnapped, with twists and turns and many others this fun adventure has brought a smile, laughter and joy.

The author has created a unique world, with great characters and world building plus a whole lot more, for kids of all ages, to read with parents or by themselves this story will bring joy and happiness to them, the hidden themes are messages of a way that children will learn about and will share.

Fab read Jesse, Thanks

Do not miss out on the opportunity to read this book. J.L. Rademacher weaves together a delicious plot that will have you drooling in anticipation.
The main character, Delia (Sugarpuff) is a well-written, snotty little girl who has so much to learn, and Rademacher throws her into adventures that test not only her strength, but also her character.

100/10 stars for this one--it's a true delight and well worth the read.

What a sweet treat of a book! (See what I did there?) Fun, engaging characters, great world building and a lot of wonderful set up for what’s to come. VERY excited for book 2. Now I’m going to have some cake and NO vegetables!
