Great romantic sci fi adventure
But the beginning is violent, grim, and tragic. I'm not sure why the book has low ratings. There is graphic violence, but all the books in this series are violent to some degree. There is graphic sex, but, again, all the books in the series have graphic sex. Jaxx is a great character; a soldier who has become a scholar is definitely fascinating. The story is well-written and thrilling with a good HEA.

Very good read
Very good story It's got everything you want in it Romance Hatred Violence Sorrow and love and adventure. Cass Carlton is a excellent Writer I recommend you read all the books in this series.

Good read
Elena is after an artifact but didn't count the cost. Jazz is also after an artifact that is an absolute necessity for his people. Elena is in trouble when Jazz finds her. Life has gotten really interesting. Enjoy

I enjoy the author’s stories even though some of the dialogue isn’t flow naturally. This book seems disconnected from the previous books because None of the characters are in this one.
I’m going to finish all the books in this series because they are just so easy to read.
