This made me want to see a ballet performance!

While I'm not going to pretend this is the world's best written book it's very entertaining and engaging. I'm not sure it will hit the mark for ballet neophytes but as someone who has attended the ballet from childhood onward I enjoyed it. Perhaps helped by being old enough to have seen McAllister perform (and young enough to wonder why all the mums were being silly about the male dancers' tights!).

I recommend for anyone with an interest in dance.
