”Choices” starts with Two-Face giving Nightwing an ultimatum. Your life or the smiling baby’s life. He’s threatening to taser the baby who is playing in a pool of water.

Nightwing tosses the baby in the air and gets tasered for his troubles. Robin catches the baby and delivers it to its mother.

Batman shows up and tells Robin to start CPR on Nightwing. He’s going after Two-Face.

Batman finds Two-Face who has tied two people to giant scales over fire. If he saves one the other burns. Batman saves both. Two-Face gets away.

In the Batcave, they manage to bring back Nightwing from the dead.

At Two-Face’s lair, Batman finds a horde of thugs and two ladies tied up and dangling over rabid dogs. But there is also a ton of crates hanging over the thugs. If he cuts the cord the thugs will probably die but he can then save the two ladies.

At the Batcave, Batman calls for “All Available Backup”. Including Nightwing if available. Nightwing gets dressed.

When they arrive Batman is fighting the horde of thugs. They all jump in to take over for Batman. During the fight Nightwing scolds Robin for complaining that Batman seems cold about Nightwing’s possible death. Nightwing doesn’t see it that way.

”What is your problem? Do you think this is some game?

A neat story the illustrates the price of the bat. 3 stars but strong.
